Itinerary

Day 1 - Flight from Cape Town to Antarctica
It is necessary to arrive in Cape Town two days before the scheduled flight to Antarctica.
A mandatory safety briefing will be held the day before departure, where we will check your availability of all necessary equipment for visiting Antarctica.
Free time in Cape Town. Cape Town is a beautiful city with a lot of attractions and entertainment. Additionally, we will arrange for you an individual tour of the city and its surroundings.
The flight from Cape Town takes place on a luxury private jet. Meals, snacks and drinks will be offered on board.
The approximate flight time to Antarctica is 5 hours.
You arrive at Wolf's Fang airstrip, where you will be transferred to the most luxurious and most remote Echo Camp.

Day 2 - Activity around the camp
Depending on the weather conditions, our guides will offer you a choice of several excursions and activities that can be done from the camp.
Explore the surrounding mountains and glaciers, go rock climbing under the supervision of our experienced guides, or go on a simple hike to enjoy all the beauties of Antarctica.

Day 3 - Flight to the Emperor Penguins
The flight to the colony of emperor penguins in Atka Bay will take about 2.5 hours.
According to the rules, the plane will land no closer than 1 km from the colony, so it will take you a little time to walk to the colony.
Being so close to the colony is truly one of the most exciting adventures!
You will spend as much time in the colony as the weather permits.
Snacks and hot drinks will be available during your stay at the colony.
Return to the camp.

Day 4 - Activity around the camp
Continuation of active adventures around the camp.
Day 5 - The South Pole
First, we will fly to Dixi's camp to refuel the aircraft (flight duration is about 5 hours).
Refueling takes approximately 1 hour, during which time you will be offered hot drinks and light snacks.
After refueling, we will continue our journey to the South Pole, and it will take us another 2 hours to reach the geographical point of the South Pole (90°).
You can spend about 3 hours at the South Pole.
The American Amundsen-Scott Science Station is located near the South Pole. There is a souvenir shop here that you can visit.
After the flight to the South Pole aboard the Basler, you will return to Dixi's camp. We will set up camp here for the night, and for you it will be an additional adventure, an experience of camping in Antarctica in conditions that real explorers usually live in.
The stop takes about 10-12 hours, and accommodation will be arranged in spacious tents designed for two people.
Day 6 - Return to the camp
After breakfast, Basler will fly back to our camp. 5 hours after departure, you will find yourself in our cozy camp, where you will be greeted with champagne and you will celebrate reaching the South Pole.
You will have time to relax after your flights.
If you wish, you can attend scientific lectures on Antarctica or take part in small expedition trips around the camp.
These days are also reserved if, due to weather conditions, it is not possible to fly to the colony of Emperor penguins and the South Pole according to the preliminary schedule.

Echo is the most luxurious and most remote camping site on Earth. It consists of six heated "sky capsules" made of composite fiberglass.

Each space-style capsule is designed to accommodate 2 travelers and has a panoramic window, state-of-the-art furniture, a relaxation area and a bathroom with sink.

It's important to know

Our winter sportswear is well suited to the climatic conditions during most of our travels. Thermal underwear, wind and waterproof clothing, and rubber boots will become a reliable foundation for your comfort in the polar regions.

Layering in clothing is the most important thing in Arctic expeditions. It is better to wear several light garments than one very warm one. This will help you optimally adapt to temperature changes: it is always easier to take off a layer of clothing if you feel hot, or put on something else if it gets chilly.

The base layer. Choose thermal underwear made of merino wool or polypropylene, depending on the temperature of the region and the planned activity level.
The middle layer. Wool or fleece sweaters, longsleeves, turtlenecks to create layers of clothing. The middle layers can be worn under a parka.
The top layer. Windproof and waterproof parka and trousers. The park can be single-layered (insulated with protection from wind and water) or double-layered (consisting of a warm layer and an upper wind and water protection layer).
Shoes and accessories. Rubber boots (regular or insulated) are the most suitable option for expeditions. Bring several pairs of gloves/mittens (1 light, 1 warm waterproof, 1 spare), a hat, scarf/ buff, several pairs of warm (for example, wool) and regular socks.
