Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Arkhangelsk. City tour. The Church of the Ascension of the Lord. Space Museum
Transfer from the railway station or Arkhangelsk airport to the hotel (for an additional fee).
Placing things in the luggage room of the hotel, meeting with the guide in the lobby.
11:00 Sightseeing bus tour "Russia's first port" will introduce you to the history of the city of Arkhangelsk, its main attractions and the modern life of the regional center.
13:00 Lunch at the cafe.
14:00 Departure for a river space excursion to Hadrian's Island by boat or other water transport.
A tour of the village of Ascension.
It is here that one of the oldest temples of the Arkhangelsk region is located — the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, which gave the name to the village.
Visit to the Space Museum.
At one time, the village was home to one of the world's four integrated magnetic ionospheric observatories, where scientists investigated the relationship between the magnetic vibrations of the planet Earth and cosmic radiation, the northern lights.
18:00 Departure by boat to Arkhangelsk.
Transfer to the hotel, accommodation.
Free time, dinner on your own.

Day 2 - Golubino Park
Early breakfast at the hotel.
07:30 Departure from Arkhangelsk.
The journey takes ~ 3.5–4 hours, one stop is made.
11:30 Arrival at the Golubino Park.
Tea party with local pastries.
12:00 Departure to the village. Pinega (17 km.).
A trip to the Sotka River (15 km.).
A visit to a picturesque corner of the northern taiga.
Together we will admire the most beautiful karst river in our region, the Sotka (Pinezhsky district), learn and see a lot about the nature of the northern territory.
A walk on the rocks.
Lunch cooked over a campfire.
17:00-18:00 Departure to Arkhangelsk.
Arrival in Arkhangelsk is approximately at 21:30.
Dinner on your own.

The program of the day for arrival on September 17-19:
08:00 Departure from Arkhangelsk from the bus station.
Travel along the picturesque Arkhangelsk — Pinega — Mezen highway, running along rivers, northern villages and karst mountains.
188 km, ~3.5–4 hours on the way, one sanitary stop is made.
Arrival at the Golubino Park.
Tea party with local pastries.
Excursion along the ecological trail through the protected area of the Pinezhsky Nature Reserve to the ice-free waterfall "Holy Spring" (1-1.5 hours).
Lunch at the restaurant.
Excursion to the karst cave (1.5–2 hours).
It is recommended to wear rubber boots, which can be rented on site for 200 rubles.
Free time.
17:00-17:30 Departure to Arkhangelsk.

Day 3 - The Small Korels Museum
Breakfast at the hotel, room release, things can be left in the luggage room at the hotel.
09:00 Country tour to the museum of wooden architecture "Maly Korely".
The tour will take place in one sector of the Kargopolsko-Onega Museum.
Then there will be free time for walking, buying souvenirs and a photo shoot.
Return to Arkhangelsk and visit the algae plant store.
The end of the excursion program is at 14:00.
Transfer to the airport or railway station (for an additional fee).

I really enjoyed the trip—thanks to the tour managers! Everything was well-organized and clearly planned. I especially appreciated how quickly they responded to any questions I had and explained everything patiently. Even though I was traveling solo, all the excursions felt lively and engaging. It was a bit disappointing that the last tour was canceled, but I appreciated the advance notice, which gave me the chance to arrange a visit on my own. I’ll definitely recommend you!
