Day 1 - Arkhangelsk and Malye Korely
Meeting at the airport or at the railway station.
The recommended arrival time in Arkhangelsk is until 10:30.

Sightseeing tour of Arkhangelsk – getting to know the history of Arkhangelsk and its main attractions.
The cape with the mysterious name "Pur-Navolok" and the place of the foundation of the city.
The story of Gostiny Dvory is an architectural monument of the 17th century with a majestic tower and powerful walls, telling that Arkhangelsk was once a center of trade with foreign merchants and the city that became the first commercial seaport in Russia.
The embankment, which stretches along the majestic Severnaya Dvina River, is a favorite place for city residents and visitors to stroll.
Monuments, sculptural groups, temples – the embankment is good both on summer days and in winter, when a chain of lanterns crosses the ice-bound Northern Dvina.
It is from the embankment that one can see the island part of Arkhangelsk – Solombala, where, by decree of Peter the Great, the first state shipyard was laid down and the first merchant ship was launched.

Departure to the museum-reserve "Malye Korely" (25 km from Arkhangelsk) – Russia's largest open-air museum of wooden architecture. It's beautiful here at any time of the year.

Day 2 - Severodvinsk. Jagra Island. Pomorsky Koch and the Northern Maritime Museum
Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion to Severodvinsk– the city of shipbuilders and submarines.
The history of the founding of the city from the time of the Nikolo-Korelsky monastery to the grandiose construction of Molotovsk, Severodvinsk once bore this name.
The acquaintance with the history of the development of the Russian submarine fleet will continue at the Severodvinsk Museum of Local Lore, where, using the example of an interactive model of a nuclear submarine, you will be told about technical solutions in the field of design, construction technologies and internal structure.
Yagry Island is the southern coast of the Arctic.
Walk along the embankment and enjoy stunning views of the White Sea.
On the border of Sosnovy Bor and the sea coast there is a military memorial complex and a memorial sign in honor of the sailors of the Kursk nuclear submarine.
Return to Arkhangelsk.
Lunch with dishes of Northern cuisine in one of the restaurants of the city.
A visit to the wooden shipbuilding shipyard "Pomorsky Koch" is a place where the traditions of wooden shipbuilding are being revived and the "Pomorsky Koch" is being built – a real commercial Pomeranian vessel.
At the shipyard, you will see how modern craftsmen, using the techniques of wooden shipbuilding, recreate a ship of the pre-Petrine era!
Excursion to the Northern Maritime Museum, located in the building of the former sea station and between two marinas: the former Cathedral (now Krasnaya) and the so-called pier of Long-range expeditions.
Here you will be introduced to the history of northern shipbuilding, polar expeditions, the icebreaking fleet, and the development of Arctic navigation.
The museum contains more than two dozen models from three-masted sailboats of the 17th century to the famous "Saint Foka", on which Georgy Sedov set off to the North Pole.
The museum's collection includes Pomeranian gear, marine devices and instruments, nautical charts, as well as rare publications related to navigation.

1. The Museum of Fine Arts.
The permanent exhibition of ancient Russian art of the 14th–20th centuries presents paintings, wooden sculpture, decorative and applied art of the Russian North, Kholmogorsky bone carving, and a northern costume.
The manor house of E. K. Plotnikova is the only manor that represents a historical corner of the old town and has survived to this day in full: ancient ceremonial interiors and paintings by famous Russian artists: Fyodor Rokotov, Alexei Venetsianov, Karl Bryullov, Ivan Aivazovsky, Ivan Shishkin, Vasily Surikov, Ilya Repin, Nicholas Roerich and other famous masters.
2. Museum of Artistic Exploration of the Arctic named after A. A. Borisov.
The mysterious world of the Arctic with twinkling stars and northern lights, blizzard and ancient maps, Arctic sketches and landscapes, immersing in the atmosphere of the real North with the help of modern design and video installations.
3. Museum of the artist and storyteller S. G. Pisakhov.
The museum is dedicated to the work of the famous Northern artist, writer, traveler, teacher and ethnographer.
Collection of paintings and graphic works by S. G. Pisakhov, his letters, manuscripts, books, personal belongings and photographs.
Audio and video installations broadcasting fairy tales and essays by the famous northern storyteller.
