  • Day 1 - Meeting, Arkhangelsk and Severodvinsk

    Arrival in Arkhangelsk. Self-check-in at the hotel.

    Not everyone knows that Mikhail Vasilyevich Lomonosov was born in the village of Mishaninsky, Arkhangelsk province. 

    The tour is a story not only about the centuries—old history of the first commercial sea port of Russia — Arkhangelsk, about its main attractions, events and famous people, but also about places that are associated with the name of our famous countryman.

    Excursion to the city of Severodvinsk — the city by the White Sea

    Severodvinsk is the second largest city in the Arkhangelsk Region, an industrial and port giant, and a center of nuclear shipbuilding. 

    A city tour will introduce you to the history of the city of Severodvinsk and the Russian submarine fleet. 

    In the Museum of local lore you will find a special interactive program-a story dedicated to the construction of a nuclear submarine. 

    By assembling a "construction boat", you can learn about technical solutions, how nuclear submarines are built, about their internal structure and equipment of premises.

    Transfer to the shore of the White Sea on the island of Yagry. 

    A walk along the picturesque seashore, which pleases guests with sand dunes in summer and amazes with icy silence in winter. The southern coast of the Arctic is made up of centuries–old pine trees, amazing sunsets and icy hummocks of the White Sea.

    Return to Arkhangelsk after 19:00.
