Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Arkhangelsk. Sightseeing tour of the city. A thematic tour at the Northern Maritime Museum. Walking along Chumbarova-Luchinsky pedestrian street
Meeting at the railway station or at the Arkhangelsk airport.
Transfer to the hotel (for an additional fee), we leave our belongings in the luggage room.

The most attractive place in the city is considered to be the embankment of the Northern Dvina, where the tourist hits of Arkhangelsk are located: for example, the monument to Peter I, who once conceived the idea of founding an admiralty here.

Chumbarov-Luchinsky Avenue or Chumbarovka, as it is called in its native language by Archangel City residents, is a pedestrian avenue in the heart of the city of Arkhangelsk.
This is a "reserved street" where you can get acquainted with northern architecture, see sculptures of famous writers and their characters, taste Arkhangelsk gingerbread, visit small museums, cafes and shops and just have a good time.

Day 2 - A journey along the Northern Dvina. Hiking in Pomeranian villages

Transfer to the pier, meeting with the guide.
Departure on an expedition in tow along the Northern Dvina River.

A warming lunch in a Tea house. Let's taste a real delicious Pomeranian fish soup with a warming glass of moonshine on berries.
Two-hour hike through Pomeranian villages.
A hike through the villages of Kegostrov, where we will learn about the God Odin and the Vikings in Odino, about the altar in the village of Kurgan, about Petrovsky stones, about Karostrov — an island on an island, about a sacred place where flocks of ravens fly, and much more!
We will be told the legend of why Tsar Alexander I took the ring off his finger and gave it to his Pomeranian wife, the story of why Alexander Green got to Kegostrov, and why in the movie "T-34" the tank says Kegostrov!
A tugboat back to Arkhangelsk. The opportunity to see pinnipeds and take pictures against the background of the lights of the evening city and the ice drift.

Day 3 - Severodvinsk. Interactive exhibition "Museum Submarine"
Breakfast at the hotel.
Room release.
Departure to the city of nuclear shipbuilding Severodvinsk.
Sightseeing car tour of the city and transfer to Yagry Island by the White Sea.
This trip is an opportunity to see the White Sea and... fall in love with it forever!
You will also visit Severodvinsk, the center of Russia's nuclear shipbuilding and defense industry, visit an exact model of a nuclear submarine, and get to know its designer.
The sea landscape with whimsical figures of ice floes, shimmering in the sun, will be remembered for a long time.
Every year Archangel City residents come to the shore of the White Sea to take incredible photos of the kingdom of water and ice!
Lunch at a cafe in the city.
Guided tour of the unique interactive exhibition "Museum Submarine" at the Severodvinsk Museum of Local Lore.
You will be able to see what a submarine looks like, where it is being built, and what sounds the submariners hear.
You will get acquainted with the features of the structure, control and technology of construction of nuclear submarines.
Return to Arkhangelsk, transfer to the railway station or airport (for an additional fee).

Good afternoon! We were on the "Northern Lights Hunt" tour in Arkhangelsk from March 2 to 5. Overall, everything was very well organized, and we would especially like to thank our guide Marina for the informative excursions and her warm, caring attitude toward us throughout the trip. Unfortunately, because of the weather, we didn’t get a chance to see the Northern Lights, which was a bit disappointing. Still, thank you very much for the wonderful trip and the excellent organization.

I really enjoyed the trip—thanks to the tour managers! Everything was well-organized and clearly planned. I especially appreciated how quickly they responded to any questions I had and explained everything patiently. Even though I was traveling solo, all the excursions felt lively and engaging. It was a bit disappointing that the last tour was canceled, but I appreciated the advance notice, which gave me the chance to arrange a visit on my own. I’ll definitely recommend you!
