Day 1 - Arkhangelsk and the "Small Korels"
Arrival in Arkhangelsk. Self-check-in at the hotel. Placing things in the hotel's luggage room.

11:00 Sightseeing bus tour "Russia's first port" is an introduction to the history of Arkhangelsk and its main attractions.
The acquaintance with the city begins at the cape with the mysterious name "Pur-Pillowcase". The story of the place where Arkhangelsk and Gostiny Dvory were founded is an architectural monument of the XVII century with a majestic tower and powerful walls that seem to carry over time and tell that Arkhangelsk was once a city where trade with foreign merchants was concentrated and the city became the first commercial seaport of Russia.
The majestic Severnaya Dvina River and the embankment stretching along it are a favorite place for walks, both for residents of Arkhangelsk and guests of the city. The monument to Peter I and the seal-savior, the Assumption Church and the Green gazebo – the embankment is good, both on summer days and in winter, when a chain of lanterns crosses the ice-bound Northern Dvina. From the embankment of the Northern Dvina there is a panorama of the island part of Arkhangelsk – the island of Solombala, where, by decree of Peter the Great, the first state shipyard was laid and the first merchant ship was launched

Day 2 - Severodvinsk, Yagry Island, Pomorsky Koch and the Northern Maritime Museum
Breakfast at the hotel.
Bus sightseeing tour to Severodvinsk, located on the shore of the White Sea.
It is available only for citizens of the Russian Federation (residence permit is not accepted), for citizens of other states it is necessary to have a written permission from the incoming person.
During the tour, you will hear the history of the founding and formation of the city from the time of the Nikolo-Korel Monastery to the grandiose construction of Molotovsk, which was once the name of Severodvinsk, the Center of nuclear shipbuilding. The acquaintance with the history of the development of the Russian submarine fleet will continue at the Severodvinsk Museum of Local Lore. You will have to create an interactive prefabricated model of a nuclear submarine. By assembling the "constructor", you will learn about technical solutions in the field of design and construction technology of nuclear submarines, about their internal structure and equipment of premises.
Departure to the southern coast of the Arctic – to the island of Jagra. A walk along the embankment and stunning views of the White Sea. Here, on the border of the pine forest and the sea coast, there is a military memorial complex and a memorial sign in honor of the sailors of the Kursk nuclear submarine.
Return to Arkhangelsk.

Excursion to the shipyard of wooden shipbuilding "Pomorsky Koch". Solombala is the cradle of the Russian navy, a favorite place of Peter the Great, the history of the Admiralty settlement, an island where the traditions of wooden shipbuilding are being revived and the Pomorsky Koch, a commercial Pomor vessel, is being built.
At the shipyard, you will see with your own eyes how modern craftsmen, using the techniques of wooden shipbuilding, recreate a ship of the pre-Petrine era! It was on these wooden vessels that the state borders of Russia in the Arctic were described and fixed.
Excursion to the Northern Maritime Museum – the only Russian state maritime museum of scientific and technical profile. The museum is the keeper of material and spiritual values related to the maritime culture not only of the Russian North, but also of the whole of Russia, as well as the countries of the Barents Euro-Arctic region.
The exposition "The Millennium of Northern Navigation" will tell you about the history of northern shipbuilding, polar expeditions, icebreaking fleet and other milestones in the development of Arctic navigation. A special place is occupied by the history of the northern convoys during the Great Patriotic War.
And what a maritime museum without ship models! There are more than two dozen of them here – from models of three-masted sailboats of the XVII century to the famous "Saint Phokas", on which Georgy Sedov went to the North Pole. The museum's collection includes Pomeranian gear, marine devices and instruments, nautical charts, as well as rare publications related to navigation.

Day 3 - Walking tour "Zapovednaya Street" and the Museum of Artistic Exploration of the Arctic

Walking tour "Zapovednaya Street" along Chumbarova-Luchinsky Avenue. A walk along the central pedestrian street of the city, which the Archangelgorodians call "Chumbarovka". Unique Pomeranian houses with carved architraves, elegant porches and bay windows, spacious merchant estates have been preserved here. Each house has its own unique story!
Excursion to the Museum of Artistic Exploration of the Arctic named after A.A. Borisov. The museum is a mysterious world of the Arctic with twinkling stars and northern lights, blizzard and ancient maps, Arctic sketches and landscapes, immersing in the atmosphere of the real North with the help of modern design and video installations.
