Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Arkhangelsk. City tour. The museum "Small Korels". A master class on painting a goat
Meeting at the railway station or at the airport in Arkhangelsk.
Transfer to the hotel (for an additional fee).
We leave our belongings in the luggage room of the hotel.
10:00-11:00 Sightseeing car and walking tour "Welcome to Arkhangelsk".
The most attractive place in the city is considered to be the embankment of the Northern Dvina, where the tourist hits of Arkhangelsk are located: for example, the monument to Peter I, who once conceived the idea of founding an admiralty here.
You will visit Cape Pur-Navolok, the founding place of Arkhangelsk.
In the Living Rooms of the Courtyards, along the powerful walls of which even today one can imagine how three centuries ago trade was noisy behind them.
The guide will show and tell you about the Assumption Church, the island of Solombala — the cradle of the Russian navy and much more.
Lunch in the best traditions of Pomeranian cuisine.
Country bus tour to the largest open—air museum in Russia - the Museum of wooden architecture and folk art "Malye Korely" (25 km from Arkhangelsk).
Walking tour of the "Northern Arbat".
A walk along the wooden avenue of Chumbarov-Luchinsky is a journey to a time when every house had its own name, and not just an ordinal number.
The historical excursion will continue with a master class on painting the traditional Pomeranian goat in the workshop of the Arkhangelsk Gingerbread Museum (for an additional fee).

Day 2 - Pinezhsky district. Golubino Park. Waterfall "Holy spring". Karst cave
07:00 Breakfast at the hotel.
07:30 Departure to the Pinezhsky district.
Travel along the picturesque Arkhangelsk — Pinega — Mezen highway, running along rivers, northern villages and karst mountains. 188 km, ~ 3.5–4 hours on the way.
Arrival at the Golubino Park.
Tea party with local pastries.
Excursion along the ecological trail through the protected area of the Pinezhsky Reserve to the ice-free waterfall "Holy Spring" (1-1.5 hours).
A road "paved" with wooden bridges will lead you to the waterfall — this is an ecological trail going through the taiga forest.
You can not leave it, because you will be in the protected area of the Pinezhsky Nature Reserve, and there is a protected, untouched nature around.
You can go straight down to the waterfall, wash your face with ice water and make a wish.
Lunch at the restaurant.
Excursion to the karst cave (1.5–2 hours).
A wide, open, short, but rather steep descent leads to the cave, after overcoming which you will find yourself under a huge underground vault on the banks of a small river.
After walking a little deeper into the cave along a narrow and low passage, you will enter another hall with bizarre ice stalactites and stalagmites.
During the May holidays, an excursion to the karst cave can be replaced by a walk through the Cockroach Log.
Free time.
You can use equipment rental, take a walk around the park, take memorable photos.

Day 3 - The Museum of M.V. Lomonosov. Bone-cutting factory and master class
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to Lomonosov's homeland.
The village of Lomonosovo is located 4 km east of Kholmogor and 73 km southeast of Arkhangelsk.
Since ancient times, Pomors have lived here, went fishing in the White Sea, in the Arctic Ocean.
Mikhail Vasilyevich was born here in 1711. The village is located on one of the islands of the Northern Dvina, opposite Kholmogor.
You leave Arkhangelsk by bus, then in summer you will be ferried across the Kurkopolka River to the village of Lomonosovo, in winter — crossing / crossing on ice.
During the off-season, if it is impossible to cross to Lomonosovo, we replace the day with a trip to the Antonievo-Siysky monastery.
Excursion to the bone-cutting factory with a master class.
The Kholmogorsky bone carving factory offers to learn how amazing bone products are created and even create jewelry with their own hands, where, under the guidance of an experienced craftsman, everyone can try themselves as a bone carver.
Lunch at the cafe.
Visit to the M. V. Lomonosov Museum.
In honor of the memory of the great Russian scientist M. V. Lomonosov, a historical and memorial museum was opened in his homeland in the village of Lomonosovo in the Kholmogorsky district in 1940.
Departure to the city of Arkhangelsk.

Day 4 - Severodvinsk. Interactive exhibition "Museum submarine". The White Sea
Breakfast at the hotel.
10:00 Car and pedestrian sightseeing tour of Severodvinsk.
A tour of the unique interactive exhibition "Museum Submarine" in the Severodvinsk Museum of Local Lore.
You will be able to see what a submarine looks like, where it is being built, and what sounds submariners hear. You will get acquainted with the features of the structure, control and technology of construction of nuclear submarines.
Northern lunch in a cafe in the city.
Transfer to the shore of the White Sea (10 km, Yagry Island).
A walk along the embankment with an excursion.
Sandy beaches with a length of more than 4 km form dunes of amazing beauty.
And the "Pine Forest of Yagry Island" is a specially protected natural area of local importance, created in order to preserve the unique pine forest and dune landscape of the Severodvinsk coastline.
Departure to Onega by group minibus (approximately 3 hours journey).
Arrival in Onega, accommodation in a guest house.
A sauna is optional for an additional fee.

Day 5 - Vorzogory. Getting to know the Pomeranian culture
Breakfast
Excursion to the ancient Belomorsky village of Vorzogory with a ferry (passage by boat in summer is paid an additional 100 rubles per person round trip).
The village is located on the Pomeranian coast of the Onega Bay of the White Sea near Cape Vorzogorsky, 25 km west of the Onega district of Ponga.
During the tour you will get acquainted with the Pomor culture, find out who the Pomors are, their way of life.
Take a walk along the shore of the White Sea, breathe in the sea air.
Lunch.
Free time for a walk.
Return to Onega.
Sauna for an additional fee.
Meals: breakfast and lunch. Dinner on your own.
Day 6 - Free time.

In the summer, a boat tour to Kiy Island for an additional fee of 4,500 rubles per person.
A small speedboat will take you to a hospitable guest house located on a cliff between two bays, 20 meters from the White Sea.
You can walk around Cue Island by playing: imagining that you find yourself in different parts of Russia. Huge rocks up to 25 meters high. Wide sandy beaches with a gentle entrance to the sea. Healing pine forests full of mushrooms, berries, and flowers.
This is all Cue Island, which also grows up to 500 species of plants, and the coastal waters are rich in fish.
Return to Onega.
Lunch.
Eviction from the guest house.
Group transfer to Arkhangelsk by minibus.
Arrival in Arkhangelsk at the railway station, the end of the program.

I really enjoyed the trip—thanks to the tour managers! Everything was well-organized and clearly planned. I especially appreciated how quickly they responded to any questions I had and explained everything patiently. Even though I was traveling solo, all the excursions felt lively and engaging.
