  • Day 1 - A walk through Petrozavodsk. Kizhi Island

    Meeting in Petrozavodsk at 07:50 at the entrance to the railway station from the platform upon arrival of train No. 018 Moscow — Petrozavodsk. A guide with a sign.

    Sightseeing tour of the capital of Karelia and a walk along the Onega embankment.

    And now we invite you to plunge into the friendly atmosphere of the northern city — the capital of Karelia — the city of Petrozavodsk.

    On the sightseeing tour, you will see the beautiful embankment of Lake Onega, where you will find the "Tree of Desires" and other avant-garde sculptures donated to the city by the twin cities.

    Be sure to visit the Governor's Park!

    Excursion to Kizhi Island.

    Ride on the "Comet" (1 hour 20 min. along Lake Onega).

The Fortuna promotion involves accommodation at the Solovetskaya Sloboda or Solovki Hotel. You will be informed about which hotel you will be staying in a week before arrival. Rooms with in-room amenities.

The "low season" is relevant for tours that start on 05/31 or 06/01.

Participants of the tour from St. Petersburg can leave Kemi on the sixth day of the tour by evening train No. 011 from Kemi to St. Petersburg. In this case, a discount is provided (see the table above).

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour
  • warm clothes;
  • windbreaker;
  • sweater or light jacket;
  • raincoat or umbrella;
  • hats;
  • thin cap, gloves (on Solovki island);
  • comfortable worn shoes (you will have to spend a lot of time on your feet);
  • autumn thin boots or sneakers;
  • drinking water and snacks on the road (it is better to purchase in advance while on the route in Petrozavodsk, there are not always shops on the routes between cities and sightseeing sites);
  • remedies for motion sickness;
  • individual medications.

To visit monasteries and temples:

  • women need a headscarf and a skirt below the knee.;
  • men need long trousers.

When visiting active monasteries and temples, women are not recommended to enter the territory in trousers or shorts and without a headdress.

Documents:

  • an identity document placed in an airtight package;
  • for those traveling with children, it is mandatory to have a birth certificate for children.;
  • a compulsory health insurance policy.
