Day 1 - Check-in. Preparing for the route

Day 2 - Transfer to Arkhyz
Breakfast at the hotel.
Nevinnomyssk — Arkhyz transfer.
On the way, visit the Face of Christ.
The rock image is the same age as early Christianity.
Exit to the route.
Overnight at the mountain river.
We learn how to set up tents, build a campfire and cook food in the field.

Day 3 - Storming of the Chilik pass. Chilik Lake
Ascent to the high mountain area.
Skirting the ridge, we climb to the mountain lake.
We meet flocks of sheep and herds of horses along the way.
We admire the mountain scenery.
Storming the lane. Chilik (1A, 2890).
Along the way, we admire the first high-altitude lakes.
Overnight near Chilik Lake.
The bravest can swim in the icy water.

Day 4 - The valley of the Chilik River. Rybnoye Lake
Today we have a strenuous physical work ahead of us — 15 km.
It is more convenient to pack backpacks and travel.
We are waiting for the valley of the Chilik River and Lake Rybnoye, the only lake in which fish are found.

Day 5 - Kyafar Lakes
A half-day trip.
We are relaxing on the shore of Lake Kyafar.
We dry things.
We cook a delicious compote of mountain berries.

Day 6 - Lake Provalnoe
Lake Provalnoe is a bottomless lake whose waters flow underground into Lake Kyafar by an underground river.
Descent to the beautiful lake Turyu.
Overnight in a high-altitude area under the stars, among fog and clouds.
Nimble tours run along the slopes and are curious about the tourist cuisine.

We walk along the valley of the Kyafar-Agur river.

Day 8 - Baritovy Pass. Baritovy Waterfall
Today we are waiting for the last pass — Baritovy (1A, 2809).
It offers a magnificent panorama of the Sofia Ridge and the Gabulu plateau, the village of Arkhyz.
The small houses of the village are like dots growing with every step down.
Descent.
Along the way, we admire the Baritov waterfall, listen to the sound of the water and swim in the warm streams.

The Kuban Hotel is the main hotel in Nevinnomyssk, which is located in the heart of the city's business and cultural life. The hotel has been operating since 1966 and has proven itself to be the best. The atmosphere of the hotel is filled with homely warmth and comfort, the professionalism of the staff will create the most comfortable conditions for each guest. To relax and recuperate, guests will be offered to visit the hotel's sauna with a relaxation area. A 24-hour parking lot is available for hotel guests and residents of the city for an additional fee.

I’m incredibly grateful to the tour operator Big Country for organizing my hike to the Dzitaku Lakes. I really appreciated how quickly the managers responded to all my questions, and how clearly and professionally they prepared the full set of documents. From start to finish, the managers stayed in touch and supported me throughout the entire journey. Since there wasn’t a group available for the original tour, the company slightly adjusted my route and joined me with another group heading to the Bzerpinsky Ledge. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Big Country works with highly skilled and professional instructors. Our guide, Pavel, was incredibly friendly, positive, and attentive to every participant. He organized the group’s pace and movement so well that it really helped us save time and energy.
