Arkhyz's Blue Necklace

Visiting Baritov waterfall and the observation deck "Arkhyz", 5-6 hours.

Right in the center of the village there is a narrow mountain hollow with a Baritov stream.

The source of the stream is the famous Baritovy Waterfall.

That's where we're heading.

The trail winds through fir bushes, crosses picturesque glades, from which a panorama of the surrounding mountain peaks opens every now and then, descends to a stream and finally rests on a rocky cliff, from which a thin ribbon of Baritovy waterfall falls.

Scattering beads on the rocks, it fills the air with freshness and coolness.

A rainbow lives in the streams of the waterfall on a sunny day.

We climb a little above the waterfall, then a panorama of the mountain village of Arkhyz and the valleys of Kyzgich, Sofia and Rechepsta will open under our feet.

Excursion to the valley of the Malaya Dukka river, walking 8 – 9 hours.

The Dukka Lakes lurk at the foot of the Arkasara Ridge.

For its picturesqueness and richness, this route is a favorite trekking for our tourists.

The journey to the lakes lies along the mountain river, which meanders like a snake up to the mountain bowls – lakes.

Just a couple of hours and the first lake is in front of us.

Dark green water attracts.

A halt.

Daredevils bravely swim in the reservoir, even when white icebergs float on its surface in early summer or in late autumn, when the first snow lies along the shores of the reservoir.

We continue on our way.

Behind the stone moraine, a huge rock circus with an emerald-blue lake awaits us.

A little more, a little more and we are on a real mountain pass – Angel (2600 m, n/a).

There is another chain of small alpine lakes located here.

A long-awaited vacation and a chocolate bar.

Descending from the pass, we are looking for bizarre stone figures created by nature itself in the rocky cliffs.

Here stands an Olympic bear with a balloon, and around the next corner is a huge stone lizard, petrified millions of years ago.

There are clouds under our feet and another dark emerald lake, which looks like a huge monitor lizard from above.

A day off from hiking.

We enjoy nature, relaxation and admiration for the fresh Arkhyz air.

Those who wish can go horseback riding.

Communication with a horse will give you unforgettable emotions, bring you many pleasant minutes and a lot of vivid memories.

During the trip, the instructor will teach you how to stay in the saddle and control the horse.

You will visit the secret Arkhyz trails and admire these noble animals.

During the walk, we will definitely arrange a photo shoot against the backdrop of the Arkhyz peaks.

After returning to the village, the bravest can go rafting on a mountain river.

Ascent to the Arkhyz saddle pass and with a visit to the Lake of Love, 8-9 hours.

The route passes through the territory of the Teberdinsky Nature Reserve.

During the trip, you can see the inhabitants of the protected area of deer, roe deer or Caucasian bear.

The trail runs along the bed of the Rechepsta River through wide clearings and deciduous forest, and then under the shade of century–old fir trees rises to the Arkhyz saddle pass - picturesque streams and sunny glades cross the ribbon trail.

At the next turn, we can see the wide saddle of the Arkhyz saddle pass (2000 m, n/a) framed by the rocky outcrops of the Morg-Syrty ridge.

From here you can see the panorama of the Abisher-Akhuba ridge, and in the blue haze you can guess the peaks of Psebai (Krasnodar Territory).

Mountain lakes hide in rocky circuses.

The first one lies half an hour's walk from the pass at an altitude of 2347 m above sea level.

The lake resembles a heart in shape – that's why tourists called it the Lake of Love.

Crystal green water fills its shores, symbolizing the depth and purity of this feeling. 

Lake Belkau-kel is located just below the slope, 2276 m.

In sunny weather, its clear water casts an unusual, azure-blue color.

Gipping tour to the Sofia River Valley with a visitSofia waterfalls by UAZ cars of a higher category, the duration of the tour is 5-6 hours.

A real mountain jipping with overcoming rivers, holes on a dirt road and ravines – a comfortable car will take us to Sofiyskaya Polyana to the beginning of the hiking trail.

The clearing is surrounded by mountain peaks and peaks.

In summer, the green meadow blooms with Alpine herbs: cereals are mowing, dream grass and buttercups turn yellow, anemone shakes her head with a white carpet.

And the mountain peaks are covered with white caps – winter does not want to retreat in any way.

In autumn, the glade is buried in the gold of birch trees and the blue of Sofia's water, and the mountain slopes are covered with a thin web of the first snow.

We will take a wide path to the Glacier Farm at the foot of the Sofia glaciers, where a cascade of melted glacial water – the Sofia Waterfalls - falls from the rocks in a powerful stream (in the warm season).

Sofia glaciers are located on the slopes of the mountain of the same name – Sofia, the height of the main peak is 3637 m.

The snow-white peaks of Sofia will definitely make you pick up photographic equipment and capture this beauty for memory.

A walking tour to the Sleeping lake in the valley of the Kyzgych river, the duration of the tour is 5-6 hours.

Among the pine forest, we are going on a trip to the Teberdinsky Nature Reserve.

The nature of this place is amazing in its uniqueness.

Sometimes it seems that you have entered the world of Colchis: ferns, tall grasses and thickets of Caucasian blueberries.

And next to rowan and birch trees there is a natural eclecticism.

A riot of colors, aromas and flavors: blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, rowan and lingonberries.

The sleeping lake is greeted by green sedge and reeds.

Scientists call its age equal to 10-12 thousand years.  

Many thousands of years ago, mountain streams filled the lake's basin, but then the inflow of water dried up and the lake became shallow, fell asleep, overgrown.

But scientists believe that someday the lake will wake up and fill with turquoise water.

Beyond the lake, the road leads to the top of a steep hill – there are traces of bison and deer, as well as a magnificent panorama of the valley of the Kyzgych River.

Many years ago, this place was a bustling caravan route, and now it is a land of relict nature untouched by man.

The end of the program is 16:00-18:00.
