Day 1 - Departure from Moscow

Day 2 - Upper Baskunchak
The time difference is + 1 hour.
Breakfast on the train.
12:15 p.m. Arrival of the tourist train at Verkhny Baskunchak station, meeting with guides on the platform, organized passage to buses.
Lunch in the dining room of the sanatorium-dispensary "Baskunchak".
Visit to the Bogdinsk-Baskunchak Nature Reserve.
A walk along the ecological route "Legends of the Holy Mountain".
You will hear a story about Mount Bogdo, its paleontological value, and the rocks from which it is composed. A variety of bizarre shapes in the form of silhouettes of mythical animals on rocky cliffs give the legends of the mountain a special flavor.
Another local attraction is the Singing Rocks, which make sounds like a church organ when the wind blows.
After visiting the mountain, according to local customs, you will be invited to drink tea with kainars on the carpet.
If the weather conditions worsen (after or during rain), the transfer to Bolshoe Bogdo Mountain is carried out on PAZ buses, due to the impassability of buses with larger capacity.
Transfer to Lake Baskunchak
Excursion to Lake Baskunchak.
Baskunchak is a unique creation of nature, a kind of depression at the top of a huge salt mountain, extending thousands of meters deep into the earth and covered with sedimentary rocks. Lake Baskunchak is the oldest salt industry in Russia.
Tea with baursaks and Astrakhan watermelons will be served on carpets on the lake.
Swimming on Lake Baskunchak will require additional transportation — off-road vehicles.
Open UAZ-type SUVs are not very comfortable, but there is no other alternative, since more comfortable vehicles cannot withstand frequent trips on salty soil.
Transfer to the Baskunchak sanatorium, changing clothes, rinsing after swimming in the salt lake.
Changing clothes and rinsing from salt water takes place on the territory of the sanatorium.
Dinner in the dining room of the sanatorium-dispensary "Baskunchak".
Transfer to the railway station.

Day 3 - Astrakhan

Visit to the Astrakhan Kremlin.
You will learn about the history of Astrakhan's origin, stroll along Cathedral Square and shady alleys, see Astrakhan's equivalent of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and count the towers of the Kremlin.
A visit to the Astrakhan melon.
During the tour, you will be guided through a real melon field where watermelons and melons are grown, you will be told about the peculiarities of Astrakhan watermelons, and you will also be taught how to choose the right watermelon.
At the end of the tour, you will enjoy a tasting of several types of watermelons – red, pink, moon and several varieties of melons.
Transfer by bus and then by boat to the recreation center.
Arrival and briefing.
Lunch at the cafe at the recreation center.
Departure for a water excursion.
A boat trip will allow you to enjoy the splendor of the unique Volga Delta (there are only 3 such deltas in the world!) and an incredible natural phenomenon – the lotus blossom.
You will witness the unique beauty of the sight of the blooming of the "Caspian rose". The delicate and delicate fragrance of the relict flower leaves amazing impressions for a lifetime.
And as a souvenir, you can take away wonderful photos of a real "sea" of lotuses.
Don't forget to bring your bathing suits, hats, towel and sunscreen!

It is impossible to know in advance whether passengers can board and disembark at non-fixed stops, upon arrival at which the tour service is provided (there may be parking on the train, but boarding/disembarking may not be allowed. There are various reasons for this. For example, the length of the platform does not allow, the train is on the sidings, and there is basically no platform.). The tour operator is not responsible for boarding and disembarking passengers when the train stops without sightseeing services.
Tourists can join the tourist route on any part of it, where there is a train parking with an excursion day service. But without recalculating the cost of the tour in terms of railway transportation. Since a cruise train ticket is issued from the start point of the tour to the end point of the tour, there will be no recalculation of the cost of railway travel in this case. For sightseeing days when tourists will not be present on excursions, we will recalculate the cost.
In a 4-seater compartment for two people, top+bottom accommodation is provided. Placement on the two lower shelves is possible only in a 2-seater compartment or a single compartment.
The purchase of the fourth seat in the compartment is optional, accommodation with check-in is possible.

Smoking is prohibited on the train (both electronic and plain cigarettes; a fine of 1,500 to 2,500 rubles). You can smoke in the train parking lots, if possible, get off the train in smoking areas specially designated on the platforms.
The tour operator issues railway tickets at a tariff without carrying animals (for group railway transportation of tourists, this tariff is not possible for registration). In addition, it is not allowed to enter the tour bus with animals (there may be allergies in the group). Pets are also not allowed to enter the museums.
