Day 1 - A tour of Astrakhan and a visit to the Astrakhan Museum of Local Lore

13:00-14:00 Visit to the Astrakhan Museum of Local Lore, the Gold of the Nomads exhibition. The collection of archaeological objects made of precious metals at the Astrakhan Museum-Reserve began to form in the second half of the 20th century. Of particular interest are the gold ornaments of the Sarmatian leader from the famous burial site near the village of Kosika in the Enotaevsky district.
14:00-17:00 Meeting with the guide. Sightseeing tour of Astrakhan.
You will see Lenin Square, Swan Lake, the Arc de Triomphe and the Alley of Glory of the heroes of the Astrakhan land, admire the majestic monument to Emperor Peter I, walk along Petrovsky Embankment overlooking the Volga River and see old houses on one of the oldest Astrakhan streets. The walk will end in the Astrakhan Kremlin.
The main decoration of the city and a constant tourist attraction is a unique architectural ensemble, a monument of military engineering art of the second half of the XVI century – the Astrakhan Kremlin. In 1947, the Astrakhan Kremlin was included in the list of architectural and historical monuments of national importance and placed under state protection.
Astrakhan Fish Market is a very colorful place where you can buy fish for every taste and just feel the atmosphere of this port city, where oriental bazaars have been bustling for centuries, and merchants were one of the main strata of the population.

Day 2 - Bogdinsk-Baskunchak Nature Reserve

Bolshoe Bogdo Mountain and the salt lake Baskunchak are unique natural objects, they are part of the Bogdinsk–Baskunchak Nature Reserve. To the east of Bolshoe Bogdo Mountain there are many caves of karst origin, which are called Singing Rocks.
Bolshoe Bogdo Mountain is the highest point of the Caspian lowland, and the salt lake Baskunchak is similar in its healing properties to the Dead Sea.
12:30-13:00 Arrival, lunch at a cafe in Nizhny Baskunchak village (salad, soup, second course, drink, bread).
13:00-14:00 Excursion to the salt lake Baskunchak, visit to the old salt fields. The salt and mineral mud of the lake are powerful healing agents.
Baskunchak is a unique creation of nature, it is the largest and saltiest of all known salt lakes in the world.
For those who want to plunge into the lake, locals will arrange a transfer (for an additional fee) in UAZ cars to the bathing areas, since buses cannot drive there. The cost is approximately 500 rubles per person.
It is not recommended to stay in the lake for more than 15-20 minutes.
14:00-17:00 Guided tour of the slopes of Bolshoe Bogdo mountain, singing rocks.
Bolshoe Bogdo Mountain is covered with many legends, one of which says that the mountain was moved here by Buddhist monks from the Urals. Since then, her peace has been guarded by the spirit of the giant Tsagan Ebugai, who lives on the eastern slope and drives away the uninitiated with terrible sounds.

Day 3 - Free day or an excursion to Elista for an additional fee
Free day.
For an additional fee, you can join an excursion to Elista. The cost of the tour is 5,500 rubles (the tour will take place subject to group recruitment).

Today we are waiting for the unique Elista, the Pearl of the steppe, the capital of Kalmykia. Cultures, religions, and architectural styles have mixed here. Kalmykia is a land of endless steppe expanses like the ocean.
Elista is the capital of this amazing republic. The life of stolny grad is saturated with legends, legends and ancient rituals.

Day 4 - Lotus fields in the Volga Delta
A passport is required (original or hard copy). A trip to the lotus fields without a special permit is available only to citizens of the Russian Federation.
Breakfast at the hotel. Room release.
Things can be taken with you or left at the hotel reception (for tourists leaving by train or departing on late flights).
There are 2 departures daily - 8 and 11 with a program time offset, respectively. Choose a time that suits you.
The trip to the lotus fields is carried out without a guide, there is no fixed seating arrangement.
We get to the place of departure — the Heydar Aliyev Square — on our own.
The Heydar Aliyev Square is located at:

from Kosmos Hotel: 4.5 km, 10 minutes by taxi;
