Itinerary

Day 1 - Listvyanka tour and the Taltsy Museum
Listvyanka is the closest place to Irkutsk where you can see the sacred lake.
The road to Listvyanka runs along the picturesque Baikal highway, popularly called "Baikal Rublevka" – here is the elite suburban real estate of Irkutsk.
The track is comfortable and beautiful: there are trees on the sides, as a rule, there are no traffic jams.
The village is located about 70 km from Irkutsk.
After about an hour of travel, you can already see Lake Baikal!
But first, on the way to Listvyanka, you will stop at the Taltsy open-air museum.
Taltsy is an architectural and ethnographic museum, where examples of wooden architecture of the past centuries are collected.
It is located on the picturesque shore of the Angara River surrounded by the Siberian forest, which gives it an authentic look and an authentic historical atmosphere.
The guide will conduct an exciting tour, after which you will go further to Listvyanka.
On the way you will see the legendary Shaman Stone, which is associated with a beautiful legend.
Visit the Baikal Museum, which not only conducts expositional and educational activities, but also continues to engage in serious scientific research, and therefore you will not find out such information about Lake Baikal "first-hand" anywhere.
This day will end in Irkutsk – tomorrow you will get to know the city better!
You will see: the architectural and ethnographic museum "Taltsy", the limnological museum of Lake Baikal, Shaman Stone, fish market.

Day 2 - Sightseeing tour of Irkutsk
Today will be marked by an acquaintance with the capital of Eastern Siberia – the city of Irkutsk.
Irkutsk is an ancient Siberian city that arose on the site of the Siberian prison.
Tourists are interested, first of all, in wooden architecture, which harmoniously fits into the urban environment – this is a unique example of the neighborhood of modernity and historical heritage.
There are about 685 historical and cultural monuments in Irkutsk.
You will drive through historical places, your guide, an expert in the history of the city, will tell you interesting facts, introduce you to the history of the Irkutsk prison, tell you about architecture and wooden architecture, outstanding figures of the history and culture of Russia, whose activities were inextricably linked with Irkutsk.
At first glance, ordinary buildings, sculptures and monuments will open from a different side, you will feel the spirit of the times in a modern city.
The duration of the tour is 3-4 hours.
After the tour, you will have free time to walk around the neighborhood on your own and feel the life of the city more deeply.

Day 3 - Irkutsk — Olkhon Island
Today begins the journey to the heart of Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island.
Olkhon is a truly unforgettable and one of the most famous places on Lake Baikal, which is rightfully called a place of power and especially powerful energy!
Olkhon is considered a sacred territory, a concentration of shamanism in Central Asia.
It is visited by pilgrims from all over the world. According to legend, Genghis Khan is buried here.
You will leave Irkutsk approximately at 10 a.m.
The path will run through picturesque views – you will touch the charm of Baikal nature on the way to Olkhon, painted in warm and rich golden autumn shades, it causes special admiration!
Your way to the ferry crossing will be along the "Martian Road", as our tourists often say about the Tagheran steppes.
Landscapes really transport you to some kind of alien reality!
Arriving on the island, you will settle in its center – the village of Khuzhir.
In the evening, you have free time, which you can spend exploring the surroundings of the village.
Within walking distance from the hotels on Olkhon is the business card of Lake Baikal – Cape Burkhan (Shamanka rock).
Shamanka is included in the attractions of the Baikal National Park.
Tourists note the energy of the place ringing in the air, you can feel it on your skin and it is difficult to find words to express delight!
After enjoying the beautiful views, imbued with the energy of the sacred place, your first day on Olkhon is coming to an end.
Tomorrow you will have an even closer acquaintance with Lake Baikal and Olkhon.

Day 4 - Excursion to Cape Khoboy
Today you will immerse yourself even more in the atmosphere of Lake Baikal.
After breakfast, you will take a real local attraction – the most passable transport on the island of Olkhon, a UAZ or GAZ car – to the north of the island of Olkhon.
The northern part of the island is completely different from what you previously saw on Olkhon.
This is not only the vast expanses of the steppes, but also the impenetrable taiga, sand dunes, and even stilted trees.
As part of the tour, you will visit Cape Sagan-Khushun (or "Three Brothers"), a sheer cliff of snow–white marble.
The views from here will amaze you with their scale!
After that, you will reach the most popular location in the northern part of Olkhon – Cape Khoboy.
The cape is located in the very north of the island.
Its name is translated from the language of the local population as "fang", and indeed, the rocky steep shores in these places resemble animal fangs.
And together with the amazingly blue water surface, they create beautiful bright natural paintings.
From the water, the outline of the cape resembles the figure of a woman, which is associated with the legend that the Gods of Tengri made a stone statue of her because of her excessive greed, and she is destined to remain a stone as long as there is envy on Earth!
On Khoboy, you will have a delicious picnic lunch in the fresh air, after which you will go to an energetically very strong place on Olkhon - Cape Lyubov (or Cape Shunte-Levy).
Locals say that childless couples used to come to the cape, and after the rituals and prayers, they soon had children.
It is believed that the cape has not lost its magical power to this day.
In addition, as part of the tour, you will capture the amazing and impressive modern sculpture "Keeper of Lake Baikal", made by the famous sculptor Dashi Namdakov.
It was a gift to Lake Baikal, which has now become a place that attracts tourists.
In the evening you will return back to Khuzhir, the rest of the day can be devoted to horseback riding (you must inform in advance before leaving for Olkhon).
You will find: Cape Sagan-Khushun; Cape Khoboy; Cape of Love; sculpture "Keeper of Lake Baikal".
