Itinerary

Day 1 - Group meeting. The Baikal Museum in the village of Listvyanka. Departure to the village of Slyudyanka
Meeting at Irkutsk airport at 10 a.m. Terminal No. 3.
Drive to the Listvyanka Village Museum (70 km) along the scenic road that runs along the Angara River.
The museum will tell you about the uniqueness of the lake and why it is still so clean.
Lunch in Listvyanka (Lunch time is 1 hour. We will visit the market, where people come all year round to buy fish. You can buy yourself something that you like, whether it's salted or smoked fish. We recommend you to try cold and hot smoked omul)
Return to Irkutsk by a familiar road.
Transfer to the village of Slyudyanka (2-3 hours) by road among the mountains and departure to the observation point.
It offers a panoramic view of the Southern part of Lake Baikal.
Supper. Overnight at the recreation center.
4-5-bed rooms with outdoor facilities.

Note: In case of delay for any reason, tourists catch up with the group on their own. We recommend that you arrive the day before the start of the tour!
Day 2 - The beginning of the campaign. Ascent to the Hamar-Daban weather station
We have breakfast and start the hike to the weather station (18 km) on the Khamar-Daban ridge.
In backpacks, everyone has personal belongings for 2-3 days (some can be left in the storage room at the recreation center), food for 2-3 days and equipment.
The first 10 km. it is possible to travel by car (to be paid separately).
The road will pass by a marble quarry (huge pieces of marble are lying right on the road), then we will overcome several water crossings.
After a short trip among the beautiful mountains, we have a snack.
Then we'll walk and pack backpacks to the weather station along a scenic trail.
If you want to go without a backpack and cargo, then you should warn us before the route so that we can hire you a horse or a porter for an additional fee (9 km. from dropping off by car on foot with climbing).
We rest and have dinner in the evening.
Overnight in tents (possibly at a recreation center for an additional fee payment).
The route runs along the mountain river Slyudyanka and is interesting for its unique channel and crystal clear water.
The Slyudyanka originates about 20 km from Lake Baikal under Chersky Peak and flows through a narrow valley.
Day 3 - Climbing Chersky Peak. Waterfalls of the Komkarnaya River
We have breakfast, take our jackets and a snack with us and start climbing Chersky Peak, with a tour of Lake Heart (about 4-6 hours).
At the same time, we will have an amazing panorama of the mountain peaks and the surroundings of the Hamar Daban range.
On the saddle leading directly to the Peak, you can see how the transparent lake Heart is located below.
Climbing to the top of Chersky Peak (2090), we will see picturesque views of the "Siberian Alps".
The way back lies along the same path, where you will return to the tree with offerings for local spirits with colored ribbons or pennies.
The lush vegetation and abundance of flowers make this place truly beautiful.
Lunch is a snack.
By the decision of the guide (depending on the weather and the strength of the participants), hiking trekking to the waterfalls of the Yarnaya River (3-4 hours).
Each waterfall is unique and original in its own way.
Overnight in tents.
Day 4 - Descent to the recreation center. Excursion to the Museum of minerals on request
Breakfast.
Descent along the trail (18 km).
Participants have personal belongings, equipment and snacks in their backpacks.
Lunch at a place called "cafe".
Continuation of the descent (transportation can be ordered in advance for an additional fee. payment to the database).
Return to the base.
Sauna on request (on-site payment).
Optional excursion to the private museum of minerals (entrance is charged separately).
A unique museum!
The museum exhibits more than 10,000 samples from many deposits of the former USSR and from abroad.
But, of course, the most valuable are the magnificent samples of the Slyudyansk deposits.

Important! It is possible to join from day 5. For those who wish to join from day 5 (11-day rafting tour). Meeting with the group from 9 to 10 o'clock. Please take into account the fact that in the first 4 days, the group will already get to know each other, and it will be a little more difficult for you to remember the names of all the participants.
Day 5 - Departure to Olkhon Island. A walk to the shore of Lake Baikal and Shamanka rock
Breakfast.
Transfer to the train station.
Transfer to Irkutsk by car, by train along a scenic highway. Arrival in Irkutsk.
Getting kayaks, permission from the national park and groceries for the next part (takes about 1 hour).
Departure to Olkhon Island as part of the national team (MRC stop).
The road goes through the steppe expanses, where the Baikal Mountains are visible in the distance.
On the way, we will have lunch at a cafe (payment is made on the spot).
Transfer to Olkhon is carried out by public ferry.
In case of a huge traffic jam, after moving by ferry, we leave by another means of transport (usually by UAZ).
Each participant carries out the ferry crossing with their own and group items independently.
Accommodation at a recreation center with outdoor facilities (bases of such a plan as Olkhon, As Houses, Coast of Hope, etc.).
An additional payment for a 2-bed is made in advance.
Walk to the shore of Lake Baikal and Shamanka rock.
Dinner on your own at any cafe.
Day 6 - Ogoy Island
Breakfast.
A trip as part of the national team to the sacred island of Ogoy with a visit to the Buddhist stupa.
You will be informed in advance of the number of the car that will arrive.
We sit down and drive to the pier.
Then take a boat to the island.
There you will go through three stages, past, future and present.
Make one wish that will surely come true!
The end of the trip at the pier.
Self-return to the base.
Dinner at the base on your own.
Day 7 - Free day or additional excursions
Breakfast.
Guided tours to choose from for an additional fee. Location: cave, South of the island, etc.
The entire list can be obtained from the database administrator.
Waterproof suits and hard hats are provided to the cave.
The cave is located in AYA Bay, where you will find the Metropolitan hall, a music hall, stalactites, stalagmites and, of course, a great mood.
You need to book in advance.
If the number is low or the weather is bad, cancellation is possible.

Day 8 - Cycling along the shores of Olkhon Island
Breakfast.
Cycling from morning to evening — we ride "on our own" along the picturesque shores of Olkhon Island.
You can just ride from the base to the beach and back!
The day before, you will be sent the address where you should pick up the bike.
Relaxing on the shore.
Buying souvenirs.
Travel by bike at your own pace.
You can also take independent bike rides, periodically returning to the recreation center.
Bicycles are only available for a day.
Have lunch on your own at any cafe in the village, try the local cuisine!

Day 9 - Cape Khoboy
Breakfast.
A trip around Olkhon by UAZ Khuzhir – Uzury – Cape Khoboy – then by ship to the village of Turka.
Khoboy is a place of power and a picturesque place in the north of the island of Olkhon.
It looks like a fang and we will see it later, and it also has a resemblance to the profile of a woman, as on ancient Greek galleys.
Transfer (boat and transfers are not included in the price, payment to the guide or by transfer, about 15,000 rubles/person, mandatory additional fee).
Arrival in the village of Turka or Ust-Barguzin.
Overnight in the village or on the spit.
Important! The organizers carry out the crossing of the lake only if the weather is favorable. In case of adverse weather, the team leader has the right to deliver the group to Ust-Barguzin by road (800 km).
Day 10 - Ascent to the observation point of the Holy Nose Peninsula
Breakfast.
Ascent to the viewpoint of the Holy Nose peninsula, (3-4 hours up and 2-3 hours down) from where you can enjoy an amazing panorama of Lake Baikal, Chivyrkuysky and Barguzin Bay.
In small passages we climb to the observation point called the Cross.
Snack.
At the top there is a panorama of the bays and Lake Baikal.
There are views of the Barguzin Mountains in the distance to the east, where snow remains even in summer.
Descent from the top of the peninsula (the descent is steep in places, so you should be careful when following all the commands and recommendations of the guide).
Supper.
Overnight on the beach.
This place has very warm water and no wind, so this place is very popular with vacationers by car.
Note: Each participant must take at least 1 liter of drinking water with them on the ascent.
Day 11 - Kayaking in Chivyrkuy Bay
Early rise.
Transfer to Chivyrkuy Bay.

Kayaking in Chivyrkuy Bay (Monakhovo village — Okunevaya Bay (10 km) or Sorozhya Bay (5 km).
Chivyrkuysky Bay is considered the most picturesque on Lake Baikal.
Every island in the bay is a natural monument.
The shores of the bay are indented by picturesque sandy coves.
What is it worth to watch the sunrise!
The sun slowly appears from behind the Barguzin Mountains, which are located on the other side of the bay and are very picturesque.
In snake Bay, in the bay, there is a hot spring, or rather there are three of them.
Currently, wooden baths are made of them, which anyone can visit.
Day 12 - Sorozhya Bay – Snake Bay
Rafting in Chivyrkuysky Bay to Zmeinaya Bay (12 km).
Breakfast in the morning.
Transfer early in the morning, to the hot springs (about 10-12 km).
The average speed of a kayak is 5-7 km/hour.
Kayaking is possible for almost anyone, but you should strictly follow all the instructor's commands!
No special training is required, but a little physical training is desirable.
The beauty of the islands and a leisurely vacation on various picturesque shores will delight you.
All nights in tents, there is no civilization around!
Lunch and Dinner.
Rest on a sandbar.
Rafting is carried out only in favorable weather at the discretion of the guide.
Day 13 - Spare day
A spare day in case of bad weather.
In case of good weather in the morning, we go out to Okunevaya Bay.
We rest there all day, we sunbathe.
A beautiful bay hidden from the winds.
Coniferous forest, pure nature all around.
There is a village within an hour's walk from where you can call home, as there had been no communication for two days before.
A tourist bath is possible in the camping area.
If the weather is bad on this day, then we rest on a spit by the Krestovaya River.
Sandy beach both from Lake Baikal and near the river.

Day 14 - Continuation of the alloy
Early rise.
We return along the coast and beautiful cliffs by kayaking towards Monakhovo (12 km).
The distance is short, so we walk slowly, but of course it will depend on the weather.
Lake Baikal is especially beautiful at dawn.
Sightseeing of rocks and coves.
Rest on the sandy beach.
Overnight in a tent.
We cook lunch and Dinner on a gas stove.
In one of the places where parking is allowed, we will definitely sit by the campfire and look at the stars.
Chivyrkuy Bay is located on the territory of the national park.
There are many secluded coves in the bay, but unfortunately not everywhere it is allowed to stay, only in specially equipped places.
But while kayaking, we will explore as many scenic spots as possible along the way.
Day 15 - Transfer to Monakhovo. Collecting kayaks. Departure to Ulan-Ude. Completion of the program

The next day, it is possible, for an additional fee, to visit the center of Russian Buddhism - Ivolginsky Datsan.
