Itinerary

Day 1 - Group meeting. The Baikal Museum in the village of Listvyanka. Departure to the village of Slyudyanka
Meeting at Irkutsk airport at 10 a.m. near the information desk.
A trip to the Listvyanka Village Museum (70 km) along the picturesque road that runs along the Angara River.
The museum will tell you about the uniqueness of the lake and why it is still so clean.
Lunch in Listvyanka (Lunch time is 1 hour., we will visit the market, where people come all year round to buy fish. You can buy yourself something that you like, whether it's salted or smoked fish. We recommend you to try cold and hot smoked omul)
Return to Irkutsk by a familiar road.
Getting provisions for the first days of the route.
Transfer to the village of Slyudyanka (2-3 hours) on the road among the mountains and departure to the observation point.
It offers a panoramic view of the Southern part of Lake Baikal.

Day 2 - The beginning of the campaign. Ascent to the Hamar-Daban weather station
We have breakfast and start walking to the weather station (18 km) on the Khamar-Daban ridge.
Everyone has personal belongings in their backpacks for 2-3 days (some can be left in the storage room at the recreation center), food for 2-3 days and equipment.
The first 10 km. it is possible to travel by car (paid separately).
The road will pass by a marble quarry (huge pieces of marble lie right on the road), then we will overcome several water crossings.
After a short trip among the beautiful mountains, we make a snack.
Then, on foot and with backpacks, we will go to the weather station along a picturesque trail.
If you want to go without a backpack and cargo, then you should warn us before the route so that we can hire you a horse or a porter for an additional fee (9 km from dropping off by car on foot with a climb).
In the evening we rest and have dinner.
Overnight in tents (possibly at the recreation center for an additional fee. payment).
The route runs along the mountain river Slyudyanka and is interesting for its unique riverbed and crystal clear water.
The Slyudyanka originates about 20 km from Lake Baikal under Chersky Peak and flows through a narrow valley.
Day 3 - Climbing Chersky Peak. Waterfalls of the Komkarnaya River
We have breakfast, take our jackets and a snack with us and start climbing Chersky Peak, with a tour of Lake Heart (about 4-6 hours).
At the same time, we will see an amazing panorama of the mountain peaks and the surroundings of the Khamar-Daban ridge.
On the saddle leading directly to the Peak, you can see how the transparent lake Heart is located below.
Climbing to the top of Chersky Peak (2090), we will see picturesque views of the "Siberian Alps".
The way back lies along the same path, where you will return to the tree with offerings for local spirits with colored ribbons or pennies.
Lush vegetation, an abundance of flowers, makes this place truly beautiful.
Lunch is a snack.
According to the decision of the guide (depending on the weather and the strength of the participants), hiking to the waterfalls of the Komkarnaya River (3-4 hours).
Each waterfall is unique and original in its own way.

Day 4 - Descent to the recreation center. Excursion to the Museum of minerals on request

Descent along the trail (18 km).
Participants have personal belongings, equipment and snacks in their backpacks.
Lunch in the area called "cafe".
Continuation of the descent (transport can be ordered in advance for an additional fee. payment to the base).
Return to the base.

The museum exhibits more than 10,000 samples from many deposits of the former USSR and from abroad.
But, of course, the main value is represented by magnificent samples of the Slyudyansk deposits.

Important! It is possible to join from 5 days. For those who wish to join from day 5 (11 days tour with rafting). Meeting with the group from 9 to 10 o'clock. Day 5 - Departure to Olkhon Island. A walk to the shore of Lake Baikal and Shamanka rock

Transfer to the train station.
Transfer to Irkutsk by car, by train along a picturesque highway. Arrival in Irkutsk.
Getting kayaks, permission from the national park and products for the next part (takes about 1 hour).
Departure to Olkhon Island as part of the national team (MRS stop).
The road goes through the steppe expanses, where the Baikal Mountains can be seen in the distance.
On the way, we will have lunch at a cafe (payment on the spot).
Transfer to Olkhon is carried out by public ferry.
In the case of a huge traffic jam, after moving by ferry, we leave by another transport (usually to the UAZ).
Each participant carries out the ferry crossing with their own and group items on their own.

Day 6 - Ogoy Island

A trip to the sacred island of Ogoy with a visit to the Buddhist stupa.

Day 7 - Free day or additional excursions

Day 8 - Cycling along the shores of Olkhon Island

Day 9 - Cape Khoboy. Transfer by boat to Ust-Barguzin village
Breakfast.
Sightseeing tour of Olkhon by UAZ to Cape Khoboy.
Khoboy is a place of power, a holy place and just a "super" picturesque place in the north of Olkhon Island.
From the sea side, the rock looks like a fang and we will see it later, and it also bears a resemblance to the profile of a woman, as in ancient Greek galleys.
Transfer by ship (extra charge) from fr. Olkhon is across Lake Baikal.
Arrival in the village of Ust-Barguzin or Turka.
Overnight in the village or on the spit.
Important! The organizers carry out the crossing of the lake only in favorable weather. In case of adverse weather, the head of the group has the right to deliver the group to Ust-Barguzin by road (800 km). Payment for the boat is made to the guide on the spot!
Day 10 - Ascent to the observation point of the Holy Nose Peninsula
Breakfast.
Ascent to the observation point of the Holy Nose peninsula, (3-4 hours up and 2-3 hours down) from where an amazing panorama of Lake Baikal, Chivyrkuysky and Barguzin Bay opens.
In small transitions, we climb to the observation point called the Cross.

At the top there is a panorama of the bays and Lake Baikal.
In the distance to the east there are views of the Barguzin Mountains, where snow remains even in summer.
Descent from the top of the peninsula (the descent is steep in places, so you should be careful when following all the commands and recommendations of the guide).

This place has very warm water and no wind, so this place is very popular with vacationers by car.
Note: Each participant is required to take at least 1 liter of drinking water with them on the ascent.
Day 11 - Kayaking in the Chivyrkuy Bay.

The sun appears slowly from behind the Barguzin Mountains, which are located on the other side of the bay and are very picturesque.

Day 12 - Sorozhya Bay - Snake Bay
Rafting in Chivyrkuysky Bay to Zmeinaya Bay (12 km.).

The average speed of the kayak is 5-7 km/h.
Kayaking is possible for almost anyone, but you should strictly follow all the instructor's commands!

Day 13 - Spare day
A spare day in case of bad weather.
In case of good weather in the morning, we go out to Okunevaya Bay.
We rest there all day, sunbathe.
A beautiful bay, hidden from the winds.
There is a coniferous forest all around, pure nature.
There is a village within an hour's walk from where you can call home, since there was no connection for two days before that.
A tourist bath is possible in the camping area.
If the weather is bad on this day, then we rest on the spit by the Krestovaya River.
There is a sandy beach both on the side of Lake Baikal and near the river.

Day 14 - Continuation of the alloy
Early rise.
We return back along the coast and beautiful rocks by kayak towards Monakhovo (12 km).
The distance is small, so we go slowly, but of course it will depend on the weather.
Baikal is especially beautiful in the hours of dawn.
Inspection of rocks and coves.
Rest on the sandy shore.
Overnight in a tent.
We cook lunch and Dinner on a gas stove.
In one of the places where parking is allowed, we will definitely sit by the campfire and look at the stars.
Chivyrkuy Bay is located on the territory of the national park.
There are many secluded coves in the bay, but unfortunately it is not allowed to stop everywhere, only in specially equipped places.
But while kayaking, we will explore the maximum number of picturesque places along the way.
Day 15 - Transfer to Monakhovo. Collecting kayaks. Departure to Ulan-Ude. Completion of the program

Recreation center "Silver spring"

It is located in the town of Slyudyanka, on the southern shore of Lake Baikal. There is a wonderful forest nearby, the railway station is 4 km away, the bus station is 3.5 km away. There is a parking lot, a Playground, a wood-burning sauna, a solarium, a barbecue, a smokehouse.

Detached houses with a capacity from 2 to 6 people and the main building with apartment-type rooms of the "Junior Suite" and "Suite" classes are offered for accommodation. Economy class cabins operate in the summer. The total capacity is up to 80 people.

The interior of the houses is made in a rustic style, with a predominance of natural wood in the interior, each has a small equipped kitchen area.

In each room: beds, wardrobe, bedside tables, table and chairs, bedding and towels. In semi-comfortable summer houses: washbasin, cold water, toilet and shower on site. It is located on the outskirts of Slyudyanka, near the trail to Chersky Peak, so it is convenient for tourists who want to relax and gain strength before hiking. The base has everything you need for recreation: warm rooms for overnight stays, places for tents, a sauna, picnic areas.

2, 3 and 5-bed uncomfortable rooms are offered for accommodation. In the rooms: single beds, table, benches, TV, bed linen for each guest. A rural toilet and a washbasin are located on site. There is no shower – a bathhouse.
