Itinerary

Day 1 - Getting to know the capital of Buryatia and visiting the Ivolginsky datsan. Meeting with Lake Baikal
Gathering of the group at the airport in Ulan-Ude (guests get to the meeting place on their own, they do not pick up from the hotels).
Meeting with the guide at the information desk at 9:00 am.
Boarding a minibus.
The beginning of the tour.
We recommend dressing warmly.
Be sure to bring warm shoes and clothes (even if the forecast is 0 degrees).
Transfer to Ivolginsky district.
Visit to the Russian Buddhist Center.
Ivolginsky Datsan tour (1 hour).
Departure to Ulan-Ude, a short acquaintance with the city, lunch at a cafe in the city (independently at your own expense).
Departure to Lake Baikal to Maximikha village or Ust-Barguzin village.
We spend the night at the campsite and admire the view of the Holy Nose.
In the evening we walk on the ice and inspect the ice, hummocks.
This can only be seen from the Eastern side of Lake Baikal.
Over dinner, meet and relax.
Accommodation at the campsite.
We cook dinner on our own, on duty.
Day 2 - The Holy Nose Peninsula. Bathing in hot springs on request
We'll leave after breakfast.
Our road goes to the Holy Nose Peninsula, which is located in the Trans-Baikal National Park.
We go out on the ice, explore interesting and picturesque places.
And they will definitely be there — these are grottoes and huge ice on the rocks.
After lunch, we will drive along the Chivyrkuysky Bay and, if desired, swim in the hot springs.
Snake spring — the temperature of hot water at the outlet of the main source is 40-45 ° C, depending on the season of the year (the composition of the waters is bicarbonate-sulfate-sodium with a hydrogen sulfide content).
In the evening we return to the village of Maksimikhu or Ust-Barguzin.
We have dinners and relax.

Day 3 - Transfer across Lake Baikal to Olkhon Island. Inspection of grottoes and ice on the rocks
Breakfast.
Today is one of the busiest days on the ice of Lake Baikal.
We have to move across Lake Baikal.
Attention! Vehicles are used to cross Lake Baikal, depending on the condition of the ice. As a rule, these can be UAZ class cars or hovercrafts, airboats, etc. The equipment is selected to make the move safe.
The price does not include the transfer from Maksimikha or Ust-Barguzin to Olkhon Island, which is paid additionally.
We are moving towards the island of Olkhon.
Lunch in the form of a snack on the ice of Lake Baikal.
During the journey, we will stop several times to inspect the ice, and on Olkhon we will inspect the caves and ice on the rocks.
Dinner on your own at a cafe.
In sunny weather, it is necessary to have sunglasses!
In the evening, we stay at an economy class campsite.
Day 4 - A trip to the village of Listvyanka
Breakfast.
We leave Olkhon for Listvyanka.
Transfer by minibus.
Let's drive through the transparent ice once more.
We will cross the Olkhon gate.
Further along the mainland we go to Irkutsk.
Travel time is at least 5 hours.
Lunch at a cafe on the way, payment on the spot.
A short rest is a transfer in Irkutsk and we are already driving along the Angara River, to the place where it originates from.
In the evening we arrive in the village of Listvyanka and stay at the campsite.
We have dinner in a cafe, try the local cuisine (payment is made on site) and relax.
Day 5 - A trip across the ice of Lake Baikal to Sandy Bay
Breakfast.

Today we are going on a trip on the ice of Lake Baikal.
On this day, we will drive along the route from Listvyanka village along the famous and very picturesque Sandy Bay, past the village of Bolshoe Goloustnoye.
Boarding a hovercraft called the Hivus.
Transfer by Hivus (hovercraft) is paid additionally.
Transfer across Lake Baikal to one of the most picturesque bays on Lake Baikal.
Lunch on the ice of Lake Baikal in the form of a picnic.
Sightseeing tour of the bay, where we take the most beautiful photos of transparent ice, hummocks, etc.
Transfer to the Village of Bolshoe Goloustnoye.
Accommodation at the recreation center.
Dinner at a cafe on your own.

Day 6 - Ice skating on Lake Baikal
Breakfast.
If you want to take beautiful photos of the sunrise, you will need to get up early.
At dawn, the ice plays with unique colors, the beauty of which is mesmerizing.
After breakfast, we walk around Lake Baikal or put on skates and go for a ride on Lake Baikal.
You can easily walk 10-20 km on skates without feeling tired at all.
If you don't know how to ride, then you can perfectly walk.
Beyond the cape, where we will go, you can see the bottom through the ice, it feels like there is a glass floor under your feet.
Lunch as a snack.
Then we will have a tour of the interesting places of the village.
Dinner at a cafe on your own.
Day 7 - Departure
Breakfast at the recreation center.

Departure to Irkutsk.

A backpack for personal belongings of 60 liters (if you take a travois, you can do it without a backpack with a bag).

Necessary clothing:

A sweatshirt, fleece, etc. (preferably made of modern materials).
Storm suit – jacket + trousers. Availability is mandatory. The jacket is insulated with a hood. Trousers – protection from wind and moisture. You can use a ski suit.

Wool socks (trekking, insulated).
Shoes (trekking boots or other warm boots with a warm insole, without high heels, boots).
Slippers;
Trekking poles are recommended only for hiking routes, combined at the discretion of the participants.

Note: if special equipment is not included in the price of the tour, it can be rented from the company by informing your manager in advance. Equipment rental is only and strictly for all days of the tour. It is taken at the beginning of the tour and surrendered at the end. The cost per day of multiplication for all days, regardless of whether it was used or not, is non-refundable.

Important! It is mandatory to have the following documents on the entire route: a passport, a compulsory medical insurance policy, and a birth certificate for the child.

The requirement for a set of "personal belongings" is nothing superfluous and heavy! If you have extra things or a suitcase, then you decide on your own where to leave it (luggage storage). The organizers do not store things.
