Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Getting to know the capital of Buryatia and visiting the Ivolginsky datsan. Meeting with Lake Baikal

    Gathering of the group at the airport in Ulan-Ude (guests get to the meeting place on their own, they do not pick up from the hotels).

    Meeting with the guide at the information desk at 9:00 am.

    Boarding a minibus.

    The beginning of the tour.

    We recommend dressing warmly.

    Be sure to bring warm shoes and clothes (even if the forecast is 0 degrees).

    Transfer to Ivolginsky district.

    Visit to the Russian Buddhist Center.

    Ivolginsky Datsan tour (1 hour).

    Departure to Ulan-Ude, a short acquaintance with the city, lunch at a cafe in the city (independently at your own expense).

    Departure to Lake Baikal to Maximikha village or Ust-Barguzin village.

    We spend the night at the campsite and admire the view of the Holy Nose.

    In the evening we walk on the ice and inspect the ice, hummocks.

    This can only be seen from the Eastern side of Lake Baikal.

    Over dinner, meet and relax.

  3. A certificate from the therapist, if there are chronic diseases (the tourist assumes responsibility for his health on the tour).

Necessary personal equipment for winter and spring travel:

Equipment and accessories:

  1. A backpack for personal belongings of 60 liters (if you take a travois, you can do it without a backpack with a bag).
  2. Thermos;
  3. Disposable heating pads 1-2 pcs.
  4. The headlamp.
  5. Sunglasses.
  6. A spoon, a mug, a cup, a knife.
  7. Matches, or a lighter.
  8. An individual first-aid kit (with the necessary set of personal and specific medicines no more than 200 grams by weight, a roll of patch is required).
  9. Sunburn products (required in the mountains and traveling on the ice of Lake Baikal).

Necessary clothing:

  • Lingerie.
  • Thermal underwear 1 pc.
  • A sweatshirt, fleece, etc. (preferably made of modern materials).
  • Storm suit – jacket + trousers. Availability is mandatory. The jacket is insulated with a hood. Trousers – protection from wind and moisture. You can use a ski suit.
  • Simple (or tracking) socks — 2 pairs.
  • Wool socks (trekking, insulated).
  • Shoes (trekking boots or other warm boots with a warm insole, without high heels, boots).
  • Slippers;
  • Trekking poles are recommended only for hiking routes, combined at the discretion of the participants.
  • Warm sports cap — 2 pcs.
  • Personal hygiene products (toothbrush and paste, toilet paper, etc.).
  • Insulated gloves and winter mittens.

Note: if special equipment is not included in the price of the tour, it can be rented from the company by informing your manager in advance. Equipment rental is only and strictly for all days of the tour. It is taken at the beginning of the tour and surrendered at the end. The cost per day of multiplication for all days, regardless of whether it was used or not, is non-refundable.

Important! It is mandatory to have the following documents on the entire route: a passport, a compulsory medical insurance policy, and a birth certificate for the child.

The requirement for a set of "personal belongings" is nothing superfluous and heavy! If you have extra things or a suitcase, then you decide on your own where to leave it (luggage storage). The organizers do not store things.
