After saying goodbye to the hustle and bustle of the city for a week, we set off for Lake Baikal, in the village of Bolshoe Goloustnoe.

Along the way, you will be delighted by the colorful glades and the unusually overgrown shrubby banks of the Goloustnaya River.

The path will lie along a dirt road, sometimes giving way to asphalt, so be prepared for an unusual urban ride.

The delta of the Goloustnaya River impresses with the space reclaimed by the river from the forest and rocks, and the village itself – with the comfort and modesty of human creation against the background of the riot of natural forces.

Hiding in a corner of a wide valley, the village of Bolshoe Goloustnoye is known for its history as an ancient transshipment point, a base area for various international environmental projects, and unrealized plans to create a special economic zone of a tourist and recreational type on Lake Baikal.

The first step is to say hello to Lake Baikal, and then it's worth visiting the local attractions.

A dry lake with healing, clean spring water, a grove of relict poplars and paddy hills hidden between the mountains with their unique combination of vegetation of "alpine meadows" with the flora and fauna of the Siberian taiga and rocks. Majestic cedars and the eye-piercing brightness of the colors of the glades of taiga flowers will not leave anyone indifferent.

In the evening, those who wish can try hot steam in the Russian sauna (for an additional fee).

The beginning of the walking route towards Bolshaya Kadilnaya Pad on the cape of the same name.

On this day you will have to walk about 18 km.

It's a warm-up day, it allows you to get involved in the rhythm of movement, distribute the weight of your equipment, get used to the constant beauty of the taiga and the lake around you, and slowly enjoy photo hunting.

For lovers of the underground realms, there is an opportunity to "look along the way" into one of the caves located in the Malaya Kadilnaya Falls.

For others, the contemplation of the "white towers" of the northern slope of raspadka will be an aesthetic pleasure.

The cordon of the Baikal National Park is located on Bolshoy Kadilny Cape.

There are several houses of the old campsite and a sauna with access to Lake Baikal.

It's quite windy on the bare cape, so to set up an overnight camp, we'll need to move to the edge of the forest, where we'll set it up.

After breakfast cooked over a campfire, exit the route.

On this day, there will be a simple trek along the forest path to the village of Bolshye Koty, located on the shore of Lake Baikal, 18 km north of Listvyanka.

The trail passes through the "Devil's Bridge" at Cape Sobolev, the sandy and pebble massif of Mount Skriper, abandoned gold mines in Sennaya Falls.

Most of the way goes along the shore of Lake Baikal, sometimes going down to the water.

In the evening, approaching the village, we choose the place we like to spend the night, and prepare a delicious dinner.

For those who like to learn something new, we offer an excursion to the Museum of Baikal Studies (for an additional fee), one of the oldest museums in Russia, founded by Professor M.M. Kozhov.

The museum's exposition features a rich collection of the flora and fauna of Lake Baikal.

Also, together with the instructor, you will be able to continue exploring new incredible places, namely, you will see a panorama opening onto the village and Lake Baikal from Mount Grebeshok (in consultation with the instructor).

In addition to all this, you will be able to visit the former gold mine located in Sennaya Pad, where mines, dumps, gutters and dredges have been preserved (in consultation with the instructor).

Take a simple trekking trip to the rocky cliff of Skripper. Those who wish can climb to the top of the cliff and admire the panorama of Lake Baikal (in consultation with the instructor).

Exit to the route.

The trail is good enough and makes it easy to walk while enjoying the scenic views of Lake Baikal.

As on the previous section of the route, in some places it descends to the very edge of the water, so there is no problem replenishing drinking supplies or stopping for lunch.

Then, climbing higher, the trail winds along the steep slopes of the steep coast.

And now you are in one of the oldest Russian settlements on the shores of the great lake in the village of Listvyanka, which stretches along the lake for 5 km.

Recently, the village has acquired the features of a tourist center, where for every inhabitant there are several attractions, cafes and hotels, and several hundred tourists.

Upon arrival in the village, you will be accommodated in a hotel.

We recommend having dinner at the cafe "Last Century" (for an additional fee), the view from the window of which wonderfully combines with the original menu, reflecting the whole flavor of Siberian and Baikal cuisine.

Today we continue to explore the ancient and original village of Listvyanka.

Guided sightseeing tour of the village.

We suggest going on an excursion to the Baikal Ecological Museum (for an additional fee), where there are many exhibits telling about the inhabitants of Lake Baikal, they can even be seen live in the aquariums located in the museum.

It is also worth visiting the current Orthodox Church of St. Peter. St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the patron saint of all travelers and navigators, and take a walk through the souvenir market adjacent to the fish rows, where you will be offered all the variety of Baikal fish cooked in various ways.

You can take a walk along the chairlift to the Chersky Stone (for an additional fee), where you will have a wonderful view of the source of the Angara, the port of Baikal, and in clear weather, the Khamar-Daban ridge on the opposite shore.

Lunch at the Baikal cuisine restaurant.

After lunch– transfer to Irkutsk.

The program ends in the city center at 16:00.
