Day 1 - Irkutsk City Tour
Arrival in Irkutsk, meeting at the airport (8:00-8:30) / at the railway station (9:00-9:30) with a sign "New Year on Lake Baikal!" (inside the building)

Our journey begins with a sightseeing tour of Irkutsk.
Irkutsk is the capital of Eastern Siberia, the "Siberian Paris", as it was called, the city of merchants and Decembrists.
Churches, mansions, old houses.

We will introduce you to the history of our city.
You will see the most interesting places in Irkutsk (the Church of the Savior, the Epiphany Cathedral, the Polish Church, the Moscow Gate, the Angara Embankment and the monument to Alexander III, the White House, the Znamensky Monastery, on the territory of which there are graves of the Decembrists, as well as the famous merchant and traveler Grigory Shelikhov), a visit to the historical 130 block.

Day 2 - Listvyanka. The Taltsy Museum. The Chersky Stone observation deck
After breakfast and packing, we will go to Lake Baikal in the village. Listvyanka, which is located at the source of the only river flowing out of the lake – Angara.
On the way you will visit the architectural and ethnographic museum "Taltsy", here you will see the estates of wealthy peasants, the Spasskaya Tower of the Ilimsky ostrog, the Parish Council, the parish school, the temple of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God of the 17th century.
What is especially interesting is that each courtyard of the museum has its own exposition, you can go into each house and plunge into the atmosphere of those times.
In winter, the famous Russian roller coasters operate on the territory.
Do not deny yourself the pleasure of riding a cowhide from a dizzying height, dancing round dances and participating in New Year's contests.
After a walk through the snow museum, lunch at a real Siberian tavern.
We are going further, to Lake Baikal.

Day 3 - Free time. Dog sledding
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, after the New Year's Eve, you can relax or take a walk through the snowy foliage.
In the afternoon, we get acquainted with the cheerful and energetic Baikal huskies.
This is a special breed of dog, not quite similar to the Alaskan huskies familiar to our eyes, that's why they are Baikal - having increased endurance and speed.
You will be provided with a lot of positive emotions, because not only communication, photographing and walking with sled dogs are waiting for you.
Here you will ride in a sleigh, which will be operated by an experienced instructor.
And if you prove yourself to be a brave and confident kayur, then maybe you'll be lucky to manage the team yourself!
After that we will have a tasting of Baikal fish with a delicious tincture.

Day 4 - The small sea. The ice of Lake Baikal. Tasting of Baikal cuisine
After breakfast, we go to another part of Lake Baikal, the one that is located closer to the middle of the lake near the island of Olkhon – the Small Sea.
Along the way, you will be able to admire the Siberian expanses – fields, forests, interesting relief of steppe and forest-steppe areas.
We will make several stops, get acquainted with the Buryat traditions, see the monument to the eagle, the totem bird of the Olkhon Buryats, as well as the monument to the tramp.
Arrival at the Small Sea and accommodation in warm comfortable rooms overlooking Lake Baikal.
Lunch during which you will taste delicious dishes of Baikal cuisine.
In the afternoon, when you have already had time to rest after the journey, we will have a walk on the ice of Lake Baikal.

Day 6 - A trip to Olkhon
After breakfast, you will have a car tour to Olkhon Island to Cape Burkhan.
And we will get to the island itself by Hivus, it's safer this time of year, and the trip by this type of transport is very interesting!
Hivus is a hovercraft.
Along the way, we will see the amazing features of the Baikal ice.
One of these features is sokui.
These are bizarrely shaped ice splashes that appear in late autumn during storms, when angry Baikal waves crash against rocks and water droplets freeze on them in bizarre icicles.
They may look like long ice plumes of icicles frozen together, or spirally twisted ice needles.
Next, we're going to see the ice caves!
