Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Tour of the Ivolginsky datsan. Meeting with Lake Baikal

Our guide will meet you at the airport in Ulan-Ude at 9:00.

We recommend dressing warmly. Be sure to bring warm shoes and clothes with you (even if the forecast is 0 degrees).

Moving to the center of Buddhism in Russia – Ivolginsky datsan.

    Tour of the Ivolginsky Datsan.

Today it is a huge complex with several temples.

    A short transfer to Ulan-Ude.

A brief introduction to its historical center, and then we go to a cafe of national cuisine.

We try Buryat cuisine (payment on the spot on our own).

Departure to Lake Baikal to the village of Maksimikha or Ust-Barguzin.

During the journey, we stop and inspect the ice in the form of pyramids and volcanoes.

This can only be seen from the Eastern side of Lake Baikal.

Bizarre drifts of snow and ice, larger than a man's height.

Something like a maze, with caves and snow volcanoes.

Hundreds of people come here every year to see such a miracle.

Dinner on your own (paid separately).

    Getting to know and relax.

    Overnight at the campsite.
