Day 1 - The Golden Horde Ethno-Park, the Tazheran steppes, the road to Olkhon
Today you arrive in Irkutsk before 10:00, from where your New Year's adventure will begin. An organizer will meet you at the airport and you will take a group transfer to the heart of Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island.
The road to Olkhon runs through picturesque views of winter snow-covered nature. Endless steppes decorated with rocky outcrops and cut by protruding hills await you. The mountains outlined in the distance complement the beautiful and expressive landscape.
There will be a stop at the Golden Horde Ethnic Park on the way. Here you will get acquainted with the ethnocultural identity of the indigenous population of Lake Baikal, you will be presented with an exciting program, and after that – an amazingly delicious lunch in a colorful authentic yurt.
Having refreshed yourself, the journey will continue to the shore of Lake Baikal to the ferry crossing, from where you will go to Olkhon Island.
After crossing to the island, you will take a transfer to the center of Olkhon – the village of Khuzhir. Here, the hotel will be checked in (comfortable rooms), and you will have free time to relax.
And in the evening, accompanied by the organizer, you will walk to the main attraction of Olkhon, its business card – Shamanka rock, listen to legends, take memorable photos against the background of the best photo zone.
At the end of December, the water near Shamanka Rock freezes and covers with the first, perfectly smooth and transparent Baikal ice.
Today, the curtains of the New Year's Eve program will be slightly opened: along the way, the roles will be distributed for the celebration of the New Year. Each guest will get a role by lot, which will be played on New Year's Eve according to the general scenario.
You will be able to be both a live participant in the action and an outside observer – a fascinating picture will unfold in front of you, and you will be able to influence what is happening yourself! That is, a kind of lively and vivid performance, where everyone can feel like a hero, an actor and a spectator! The organizer will tell you the details on the way.

Day 2 - Cape Khoboy, Cape Sagan-Khushun, Cape of Love, New Year's dinner
To visit Olkhon Island and not see its northernmost point is a big omission!
Today you will go to the north of Olkhon Island towards Cape Khoboy. Along the way, the indescribable beauties of winter Baikal await you: endless steppes dusted with snow. On the right hand of the movement you can see the dense Siberian taiga, and on the left – the water expanses of Lake Baikal, at this time beginning to be frozen, and in the distance the mountains of the Primorsky Ridge rise majestically above them – all this is a real joy to the eyes, the picturesqueness of the area is breathtaking!
On the way to Khoboy, you will also visit Cape Sagan-Khushun (or "Three Brothers"), a sheer cliff of snow–white marble. The views from here will amaze you with their scale!
After that, you will reach the most popular location in the northern part of Olkhon – Cape Khoboy. Next to the Oboe is the deepest place on Lake Baikal.
A delicious picnic lunch in the fresh air will be waiting for you on Hoboe.
After that, you will go to an energetically very strong place on Olkhon – Cape Lyubov (or Cape Shunte-Left). Locals say that childless couples used to come to the cape, and after the rituals and prayers, they soon had children. It is believed that the cape has not lost its magical power to this day.
In addition, as part of the tour, you will capture the amazing and impressive modern sculpture "Keeper of Lake Baikal", made by the famous sculptor Dashi Namdakov. It was a gift to Lake Baikal, which has now become a place that attracts tourists.
In the evening you will return to Khuzhir, you will have time to relax and prepare for the celebration. Today you will have a fun New Year's Eve, where you will celebrate the new year 2024 with a friendly company, make a wish under the chimes, congratulate each other on the most magical holiday of the year!

Day 3 - A free day, a master class in modeling a bouz and a sauna
Today is free from excursions. After celebrating the new year, have a nice time relaxing. You will be invited to visit the bathhouse located on the shore of Lake Baikal: steaming in the Russian bathhouse, the bravest will be able to feel the invigorating power of the waters of Lake Baikal, plunging into them!
In the evening, you will have a master class on cooking the national dish of the local population of buuz: you will be told all the secrets, you will be able to cook real Buryat buuz with your own hands, and then taste them in pleasant company!
At dinner, you will be told the customs and mores of the local population, national parables, legends, etc. For sincere gatherings, the evening will be pleasant and fun!

Day 4 - The Small sea of Lake Baikal, Ogoy Island, a trip on Khivus, icy grottoes (if the ice rises!)
After breakfast, your stay on Olkhon ends. After saying goodbye to the island, you will go on khivuses along the Small Sea of Lake Baikal to watch the perfectly smooth, transparent and amazing first Baikal ice.
Depending on the ice conditions, one of two routes will be implemented:
If the ice rises more thoroughly, you will stop at the largest island in the Small Sea after Olkhon – Ogoy Island. You will see with your own eyes the sacred Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment, you will be able to make a wish that will certainly come true, you only have to carry out a certain ritual, which the organizer accompanying you will tell you about. After that, you will drive into the bay of the Small Sea and you will have time to skate on the unique natural skating rink – Lake Baikal!
If the ice rises less than usual, then first you will return the same way as you arrived at Olkhon, through the ferry to the mainland, and from there a transfer will take you to the bay of the Small Sea, where you will have time for ice skating.
After exploring the first ice on Lake Baikal and having fun, you will head back to Irkutsk, contemplating the beautiful winter natural beauty along the way. In the evening, you will check in at the Irkutsk hotel and have a free evening.

The tour operator has the right to replace the hotel listed in the list with a similar one in terms of category and cost.
the check-in involves the accommodation of up to 3 tourists in the room. Each tourist is provided with a separate sleeping place. If, for reasons beyond the control of the tour operator (cancellation or postponement of other tourists' accommodation with check-in on the same dates), a tourist could not find a check-in at any point on the route, the tour operator has the right to put the tourist in an economy single room. Olkhon Island is reached by ice crossing in the winter season and by ferry in the summer. In the off-season on khivus (hovercraft). If the ice crossing does not work for climatic reasons, then the tourist pays for the crossing on Khivus himself. In winter, especially after March 20th, the tour operator does not guarantee that the ice will remain transparent, as it depends on weather conditions, as well as that the juices and splashes will be safe.
