Baikal ice. Extended route

Today, another energetically strong location will appear before your attention. 

The cape is shaped like a fang. 

According to legend, it was dropped by a dragon when it flew over Olkhon. 

Locals also say that it was here that the first shaman received his power and sacred knowledge. 

The cape is one of the most “salted” areas on the island, which is why it is called a place of power. 

As for the more material and geographical subtleties, Khoboy is a playground with a breathtaking view of the “big” Baikal, that is, its widest part: 80 km of frozen surface dotted with sharp sparkling hummocks and rocks framed by winter “decorations”. 

After an eventful walk right in the fresh air with a view of the expanses of the Baikal beauties, a picnic lunch will be served for you and complemented with warming mulled wine. 

In order for our trip to be comprehensively prepared, we will select the appropriate transport. 

You will think that our choice is somewhat unexpected – “loaves” or UAZ. 

But, given the realities of the Olkhon infrastructure, these are the most reliable cars.

Today's entire route will take place on ice, so our transport will be khivus, a hovercraft. 

We are heading south of the island towards an icy fairy tale in reality. 

Frozen moisture on the rocky shores has created icy figures, grottos and caves. 

Let's take a series of beautiful photos and go to Ogoy Island. 

There is a Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment on it. 

Religious adherents believe that stupas protect the area from negative energy. 

Let's touch the rich culture and get imbued with the very energy of the great lake.

The next point of the ice saga is the Yeti Station restaurant. 

The elements of the space base and the bigfoot camp are intertwined in his concept, which invariably makes an enthusiastic impression on the guests. 

You will taste the warming taiga dishes in a unique setting, experiencing genuine emotions that will be remembered for a lifetime. 

Then we will go to Sandy Bay to admire the famous “stilted” trees. 

The unimaginable interweaving of roots is a unique natural phenomenon. 

Another equally spectacular phenomenon will be waiting for us in the village of Bolshoe Goloustnoe. 

We will see deep blue ice with myriad white bubbles.

The final point of the trip will be set in the tourist village of Listvyanka. 

Here we will stay at a hotel to relax after an eventful day.

Let's spend the rest of the day in a hospitable village, because there are so many activities here: ice skating, sledding and dog sledding. 

Those who want to learn a little more about the history of the lake can visit the Baikal Museum, the observatory or the nerpinary. 

During the final dinner at the hotel, we will exchange the most vivid impressions with our friends and travel companions.
