Immerse yourself in the magical winter atmosphere of Lake Baikal, one of the most beautiful and mysterious places in Russia. The tour includes visits to unique attractions and museums that reveal the rich history and nature of this region. 

We will get acquainted with the ethnographic collection, learn about the culture and way of life of the peoples of Siberia in the Taltsy open-air museum. 

Then we will go to Arshan, where you can plunge into the healing waters and enjoy the winter nature. The next point of the program will be Olkhon— the largest island of Lake Baikal, known for its icy landscapes, shamanic shrines and unique landscape. 

Here, our vacation is diversified by a trip to the picturesque Cape Khoboy with stunning views and a picnic lunch, as well as a free day for pleasant relaxing walks, meditations, ice skating or additional excursions!

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Irkutsk: shooting club, Taltsy Park Museum, Chersky Stone, sled dog center

    Meeting in Irkutsk (airport or hotel).

    Visit to the shooting club, a package of three types of weapons for shooting: Kalashnikov assault rifle (15 rounds), PPSH – Shpagin submachine gun (15 rounds), Makarov PM pistol (8 bullets), instructor and equipment.

    Excursion to the Taltsy Open-air Museum (park museum).

    A unique architectural and ethnographic complex, on the territory of which you can immerse yourself in the culture of the indigenous peoples of the Baikal region: Buryat yurts, Evenki warehouses, Tofalar chums, Russian huts.

    Lunch at the Baikal cuisine restaurant.

    Chairlift tour to the Chersky Stone observation deck, which offers a charming view of the Shaman Stone, the source of the Angara River.

    Visit the Baikal sled dog center and dog sledding or riding three horses (real sheep sheepskin coats, winter boots, and a Russian balalaika are provided for photos).

    Return to Irkutsk, accommodation in a hotel in the very center of the city.

The hotel's design is decorated in bright colors. Comfortable rooms are available for accommodation. Each of them has a soft and comfortable bed, functional furniture, bed linen and a TV. The bathroom is equipped with a standard set of plumbing fixtures. Some accommodation options have a small kitchen.
