Immerse yourself in the magical winter atmosphere of Lake Baikal, one of the most beautiful and mysterious places in Russia. The tour includes visits to unique attractions and museums that reveal the rich history and nature of this region.

We will get acquainted with the ethnographic collection, learn about the culture and way of life of the peoples of Siberia in the Taltsy open-air museum.

Then we will go to Arshan, where you can plunge into the healing waters and enjoy the winter nature. The next point of the program will be Olkhon— the largest island of Lake Baikal, known for its icy landscapes, shamanic shrines and unique landscape.

Here, our vacation is diversified by a trip to the picturesque Cape Khoboy with stunning views and a picnic lunch, as well as a free day for pleasant relaxing walks, meditations, ice skating or additional excursions!

Itinerary

Day 1 - Irkutsk: shooting club, Taltsy Park Museum, Chersky Stone, sled dog center
Meeting in Irkutsk (airport or hotel).
Visit to the shooting club, a package of three types of weapons for shooting: Kalashnikov assault rifle (15 rounds), PPSH – Shpagin submachine gun (15 rounds), Makarov PM pistol (8 bullets), instructor and equipment.
Excursion to the Taltsy Open-air Museum (park museum).
A unique architectural and ethnographic complex, on the territory of which you can immerse yourself in the culture of the indigenous peoples of the Baikal region: Buryat yurts, Evenki warehouses, Tofalar chums, Russian huts.
Lunch at the Baikal cuisine restaurant.
Chairlift tour to the Chersky Stone observation deck, which offers a charming view of the Shaman Stone, the source of the Angara River.
Visit the Baikal sled dog center and dog sledding or riding three horses (real sheep sheepskin coats, winter boots, and a Russian balalaika are provided for photos).
Return to Irkutsk, accommodation in a hotel in the very center of the city.

Day 2 - Arshan: Buddhist datsan, local market, thermal springs
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Arshan (Republic of Buryatia, foothills of the Eastern Sayan).
On the way, stop at the observation deck, which offers stunning views of the southernmost point of Lake Baikal.
Arshan sightseeing tour: a walk through the park and an eco-trail to the waterfall, a visit to drinking mineral springs, a visit to a Buddhist datsan and a market with local and Mongolian souvenirs and teas.
Independent lunch in a cafe (there will be time as part of the tour).
Optional bathing in the thermal springs (entrance to the springs is paid additionally).
Return to Irkutsk.

Day 3 - The road to Olkhon
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out, and departure to Olkhon Island as part of a group (minibus 19 people) with a driver.
On the way, stop at a cafe, have an independent lunch.
Ferry crossing, arrival on the island (on the way from 09:00 to 15:00, including stops).
Accommodation at the campsite, dinner in the evening.
The campsite is all made of wood, small cozy buildings, located in the middle of a real village, 5-7 minutes walk to Lake Baikal.

Day 4 - Olkhon: Cape Khoboy, Three Brothers Rocks, hot picnic lunch
Breakfast at the campsite.
Sightseeing trip as part of a group (9 people) on a UAZ SUV in northern Olkhon.
The trip includes stops and walking tours, accompanied by a guide driver.
Visit the main attractions of the island: Cape Khoboy, Three Brothers Rocks and others.
The route through the territory of the reserve and the national park.
A hot picnic lunch (soup from a pot in nature).
Return to the campsite, dinner.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner. Guide: driver-guide, Russian language.

Day 6 - The road to Irkutsk. Departure
Breakfast at the campsite and departure to Irkutsk.
Transfer to Irkutsk as part of a minibus group (19 people), stop at a Buryat cafe and have an independent lunch on the way.
Arrival in the city in the evening no earlier than 19:00.
It is recommended to purchase tickets only the next day, as there may be delays on the road due to weather conditions.

The tour includes hotel accommodation in Irkutsk and Olkhon (comfortable rooms with amenities).

The cost of the tour for 1 person, depending on the size of the group, RUB.:

The surcharge for single occupancy depends on the number of group members, if the tourist is completely alone, then the surcharge is 60,000 rubles.

The Yakovlev Hotel is located in Irkutsk, within two kilometers from the city center. It offers free high-speed internet, private parking for transport, fax, luggage storage, laundry. Staff at the 24-hour front desk will help you stay and answer your questions.

The hotel's design is decorated in bright colors. Comfortable rooms are available for accommodation. Each of them has a soft and comfortable bed, functional furniture, bed linen and a TV.
