Day 1 - The road to Olkhon
The gathering of the group in Irkutsk is at 10:00.
It is necessary to arrive in Irkutsk before 9:30 local time.
Upon arrival in Irkutsk, the journey to the heart of Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island begins. Olkhon is a truly unforgettable and one of the most famous places on Lake Baikal, which is rightfully called a place of strength and especially powerful energy! Olkhon is considered a sacred territory, a concentration of shamanism in Central Asia. It is visited by pilgrims from all over the world. According to legend, Genghis Khan is buried here.
You will leave Irkutsk approximately at 10 a.m. The path will run through an area with picturesque views. The road will partially pass through the Tazheran steppes, decorated here and there with rocky remnants. Guests often refer to this segment of the journey as "Martian". Landscapes really transport you to some kind of alien reality!
Olkhon is an island, and they get to it in winter by crossing an ice crossing. After crossing, you will find about 40 km more along the steppes of Olkhon, and after that you will reach the center of the island – the village of Khuzhir.
In the evening, you have free time, which you can spend exploring the surroundings of the village. At sunset, it is ideal to go to one of the most mysterious and recognizable places on Olkhon – the Shamanka scale. Cape Burkhan and Shamanka Rock are among the attractions of the Baikal National Park.
Tourists note the energy of the place ringing in the air, you can feel it on your skin and it is difficult to find words to express delight! After enjoying the beautiful views, imbued with the energy of the sacred place, your first day of travel is coming to an end.

Day 2 - Tour of the south of Olkhon Island (by land)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will go to explore the south of the big island of Olkhon. The tour starts in the morning at 10 o'clock.
The route of this excursion runs through the southern steppe part of the island. You will be amazed at how many surprises are hidden in a seemingly homogeneous steppe. Sometimes you can meet a herd of wild horses on the way. At the observation deck "Polevoy Stan" you will have a panoramic view of the village of Khuzhir and all the local beauties.
After that, you will go to Hankhoi Lake, also known as Yalga Lake. It is a small lake separated from the Small Sea by a sandy spit, and in summer it is a favorite place for fishing. In winter, the lake is covered with ice with amazing frozen bubbles.
Very close to the lake there is a "Rock Garden" — a place that attracts tourists with its mysterious atmosphere, a remarkable feature of which are large and small piles of stones protruding from the ground, stacked in a kind of turrets.
Next, you will see a lonely birch tree on the Olkhon. At first glance, it's a completely ordinary place. But this is only at first glance! This is a unique natural monument, which is also associated with a legend. You will learn it during the tour, let's keep the intrigue for now!
Further, the tour program includes a visit to high rock formations in the steppe, called "Trident" or "Castle Ruins". Be sure to try to climb them: you will have a view of the steppe, covered with snow in winter, and on the other hand, Lake Baikal. You will feel the power of this place, the vastness of space. And here you get especially great photos!
You will also see the sunniest part of the island — Khalzany Falls, take a walk by the heart-shaped lake. In the middle of the day, you will have a hearty picnic lunch in the fresh air, and the tour will end with a view of the Big Sea and return to Khuzhir.

Day 3 - Farewell to Olkhon
On this day, our amazing journey through Olkhon is coming to an end. Breakfast awaits you in the morning and you will have the opportunity to take a last walk around Olkhon. In the morning, departure to Irkutsk, from where your adventure to Buryatia to the mountains of the Eastern Sayan will begin tomorrow.

An exciting journey to the mountains of the Eastern Sayan begins today.
You will travel in the morning from Irkutsk to the Republic of Buryatia to the mountains of the Eastern Sayan and the village of Arshan nestled at their foot. The path will run along a picturesque road, framed on the right hand by a string of mighty and majestic mountains, at the foot of which lies a plain, decorated with villages here and there.
When you arrive in Arshan, the guide will give you a guided tour. You will go to the waterfalls comfortably hidden in the mountains, artistically frozen in winter, take a walk along the trail along the picturesque gorge.
Visit the local Buddhist temple-monastery of Hoimorsky Datsan "Bodhidharma", located in a truly magical place called "Holy Glade" among century-old cedars with spreading branches: snow-capped peaks of mountains flaunt against the background, and snow-covered trees give the feeling of falling into a fairy tale. Also today you can visit the local market with Siberian goods (herbs, nuts, souvenirs) — here they are presented in great abundance.
After the tour, you will be offered a visit to the hot springs in the village of Zhemchug, which is located very close to Arshan. These thermal springs were discovered in the middle of the last century, and experts from the biological Institute proved that the water there has healing properties.
The unique properties of water have a beneficial effect on the body and health, because visiting hot springs is one of the favorite ways for tourists to relax and fill the body with strength. Hot healing springs welcome guests all year round, but in winter it is especially pleasant to swim in them: there is a winter cold around, but it is comfortable and pleasant in the hot springs.
After the tour, you will go to Irkutsk.
