A big tracking session is planned today.

We get up early, have a good breakfast and get on the route.

Along the way, the most "large-scale" open areas of ice, real space and power await us.

You can walk to one of the base crevices and admire the hummocks.

It is here, in the strait, that we recommend ice skating, if you have planned and know how.

You can rent skates at the base in Sakhyurt (we will help you book the necessary sizes in advance).

If time and weather permit, we can walk to Olkhon Island (on the opposite side of the strait) and climb the mountain, from where we can enjoy simply breathtaking views of the rugged shores of Lake Baikal.

It won't be easy to climb, but it's definitely worth it!

In the evening, socializing, games, local legends and delicious herbal tea in a cozy company.

We know where the methane bubbles frozen in the ice of Lake Baikal are more likely to be seen.

Let's go exactly there, in search.

The sight is amazing, the photos are amazing, the children are happy.

After that, if there is still a desire, we will reach one more top place - Cape Kobylya Golova.

By the way, there are often the most huge and bizarre splashes on the rocks (frozen splashes from the waves).

But the children here will love the icy passage between the rocks.

In the morning we have breakfast at the base, pack our things and send them to live on the island of Olkhon in the village of Khuzhir.

The trip will be short, right on the ice of Lake Baikal, along the ice road.

It will be amazing to look at the frozen road signs, as well as to be shocked by the hummocks.

We will make a walking stop at Ogoy Island, where we will climb to the Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment.

There you can make a wish according to all the canons and again admire the beauty around, the stupa is located on the top of the mountain.

Upon arrival, we check in and go to a cafe for lunch.

We will walk to Cape Barkhan at sunset and tie ribbons on the famous pillars of Serge.

Evening legends of Lake Baikal, a delicious hearty dinner, creativity and impressions.

It's going to be a busy day.

The journey takes no more than 2 hours.

Moving to a new base.

We get acquainted with the Buryat culture and go to attend the program in the ethnic village, where they will tell us about customs and traditions and conduct an interesting interactive program.

After that, we'll have lunch at a cafe - it's time to try various national dishes in Khuzhir.

After relaxing, we go for a walk or to the festival of ice figures (depending on the dates of departure), or to the island of Kharants, where huge ice caves usually form (an ideal place for photo shoots).

By the way, you can also ride a bike to the island, there are rentals in Khuzhir, but you should take into account the "road" situation.

If there is a lot of snow, there will be one road along Lake Baikal and you will have to ride bicycles along the same road with cars, you will often avoid cars and sightseeing "loaves", but with a small amount of snow, you can go anywhere, the pleasure of such a trip will be much greater.

On the way to the grottoes, we will also see the Shamanka Rock, show you where the dragon is hidden there, and take a walk through the small cemetery of ships.

And in the evening it will be possible to arrange a sauna if desired.

The culmination of our trip is a trip to the edge of Olkhon Island - Cape Khoboy.

Many legends are connected with this place.

The view of the confluence of the Small and Large Seas of Lake Baikal will cause a lot of emotions.

We will climb to the very edge of this cape.

They will take us there on loaves, feed us delicious fish soup for lunch, on the way we will stop at the monument to the "Keeper of Lake Baikal" and, of course, we will make a wish again.

All dreams on Lake Baikal will come true!

When we get back, we'll run off to buy souvenirs, and in the evening after dinner we'll get together and summarize our trip.

Car tour for 4 hours.

For those who don't have enough, and for those who want more, you can go on a small dawn tour to the opposite side of Olkhon Island, to Uzury (to be paid separately).

You'll have to get up early, but there will be an opportunity to skate (again), and see hummocks taller than a man, the gaps here are, of course, impressive.

We will go back to Irkutsk after everyone returns from Uzura.

Moving again will take about 5 hours, but, again, with stops.

We recommend that you do not fly home that day, but stay a little longer in Irkutsk itself and take a little walk here.
