Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Irkutsk – Listvyanka – Sakhyurt

    The group will meet at 8:30 at the Irkutsk airport, at 9:00 at the railway station.

    After meeting all the members of the group and placing ourselves in a minibus, we will go to the shores of Lake Baikal. 

    On the way, we will make a small loop to stop at Listvyanka.

    This is a famous tourist village where we will have the opportunity to visit the Baikal Museum. 

    Here we will learn about the origin of the lake, its climate, flora and fauna, see real seals in huge aquariums and even, if desired, take a virtual dive to the bottom of Lake Baikal. 

    After visiting the museum, we will climb the Chersky stone, which offers a panorama of Lake Baikal and the mouth of the Angara River, the only river flowing out of the lake.

    Next, we will move to the village of Sakhyurt.

    After accommodation at the recreation center, we will arrange an acquaintance and share our expectations from this trip.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour
  • a small backpack of 15-20 liters for walking;
  • skates (you can rent skates in Khuzhir, but not in Sakhyurt, so we recommend that you take skates with you);
  • hoba (podpopnik);
  • sunglasses (ski mask);
  • chemical hand and foot warmers;

Clothes and shoes:

  • warm winter boots;
  • windproof, insulated trousers (overalls);
  • insulated jacket (down jacket, ski jacket);
  • insulated hat, warm buff;
  • balaclava (windproof mask);
  • insulated mittens, windproof (ski gloves);
  • warm socks (wool, synthetic) and cotton (2 pairs each);
