Welcome to Irkutsk!

We have breakfast in a cafe, discuss the upcoming program and then go on our first acquaintance with the Baikal ice.

Today we will have a delightful trip to Bolshoe Goloustnoe.

Day 2 - Khivus tour along the KBZHD
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today we are going to Listvyanka.
70 km from Irkutsk and we are on Lake Baikal!
The magnificent beauty of the Hangar originates here (by the way, the source of the Hangar never freezes).
We are tasting Baikal fish and a new adventure awaits us.
An equally amazing excursion is a trip on a khivus (hovercraft) to the Circum-Baikal Railway (KBZHD).
Today, Forbes magazine has included KBZHD among the most beautiful railway routes in the world.
Before the revolution, it was called the "Golden Buckle of the Steel Belt of Russia", the buckle – because it connected the Trans–Siberian railway torn by Baikal, and the golden one - because it surpassed all roads that existed in Russia in terms of cost of work.

Day 3 - To the Center of Lake Baikal on the island of Olkhon. Frozen waves of Lake Baikal
Early breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, we go to the central part of Lake Baikal, to its very heart – to the Small Sea.
On the way, you will hear an interesting guide's story about Lake Baikal, legends and customs of local peoples, and have time to enjoy the picturesque view outside the window.
You will be amazed by the variety of landscapes of the Baikal region: the spurs of the Baikal range with snow-covered taiga, the Tazheran steppe, barely covered with snow, the mountainous shores of the Maly Sea and the Olkhon Islands.
After passing the village of Elan, we will make a stop at the bronze figure of a flying eagle, the patron saint of the steppe expanses of Tazheran and Olkhon.
Here you will learn about the very interesting traditions of the local population.
And now, after 20 km– the first view of Lake Baikal.
Here, the Tramp hero of the Russian folk song "Through the Wild Steppes of Transbaikalia" was immortalized in bronze.
Let's have lunch and go on the ice!
Then we go to the ice caves.
