We have planned to travel around Lake Baikal by Mercedes minibus, trackcars, khivus, ATVs and dog sleds. The program is so full of visits to the most iconic places on Lake Baikal and types of multi-asset that it has no analogues in Russia. And during the journey you will be accompanied by various entertainments. And, of course, after an active day, you will find a hot Siberian bath with brooms, fragrant tea on Baikal herbs and an outdoor vat. It's impossible to list everything, you need to go!

Itinerary

Day 1 - Baikal ice. Shamanism and Buryat traditions
The group gathers at 9:00 at the Irkutsk airport at the exit to the city, inside a building with a sign.
If you arrive on the eve of the start of the program, we will pick you up from the hotel after the group has gathered.
We have breakfast, drink fragrant coffee or tea and take a little rest from the flight.
We have to move 250 km to the middle part of Lake Baikal.
The urban landscape will be replaced by endless steppes, where the Baikal Buryats once roamed.
The religion of the Baikal Buryats is shamanism (worship of nature and spirits).
They are already waiting for us in the Buryat ethno-park, they meet us with a shamanic rite of benevolence and purification by fire.
Let's try the national Buryat cuisine, famous poses and enjoy the vivid folklore.
Winter among the Buryats is the time of matchmaking, rallying and dating of childbirth on the Sagaalgan holiday (the beginning of the new year according to the old Mongolian calendar).
Bright costumes, incendiary dances and delicious traditional food will energize you for further travel!
Continuation of the move to the coast.
Arrival at Lake Baikal, accommodation at the hotel (2-bed rooms with amenities and views of Lake Baikal).
Walking tour: the first acquaintance with the Baikal ice!
The coast of the Small Sea is very picturesque – many cozy bays and coves, ledges of rock similar to the ridges of ancient dragons, shrouded in colorful bright orange and green patches of lichen, which is an indicator of the cleanest air.
Access to the ice.
Dinner at the hotel with tasting of Baikal delicacies: sagudai, raskolotka, taiga dessert with pine nuts and wild meat.
After an active day, you will find a hot Siberian bath with brooms, fragrant tea on Baikal herbs and an outdoor vat.
The water in the vat is moderately hot, filled with the aromas of herbs.

Day 2 - ATV safaris: napleski and sokui, ice fishing
We have breakfast at the hotel.
Next, we dress as warmly as possible and go on a quad bike trip along the coast (additionally, warm protective suits are provided if necessary).
ATVs are real all–terrain vehicles and driving you will feel like a ranger on safari!
Our route will take us from the Mukhorsky Bay to the island of Olkhon.
We will drive over land and on the ice of Lake Baikal.
We will see hummocks, splashes and incredible winter landscapes.
There will be mirror-smooth ice, hummocks, snow drifts under the wheels.
Drive and have a great mood!
We return to the hotel for lunch.
We warm up and go out on the Baikal ice again.
Now we are waiting for an exciting activity – ice fishing.
Experienced fishermen will share their secrets with you and teach you how to fish.
For those who do not participate in fishing, we will make a bet on the winner according to the number of fish caught.
Who lost – cooks delicious fish soup from freshly caught fish for the whole company.
Of course, we will help, and in between fishing we will bask in a warm yurt, drinking hot tea and mulled wine, and of course, local tincture.

Day 3 - Olkhon Island and ice caves. Ogoy Island and Cape Dragon's Tail. Tagerans and Big Baikal
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today we are waiting for the island of Olkhon, ice caves, bubbles and a marshmallow kingdom of splashes.
On Baikal all-terrain vehicles (UAZ) we go to the bay with bubbles.
There is a real cosmos in this place – millions of bubbles frozen in blue ice.
There is also a rocky remnant of the Trident nearby, like the ruins of a medieval fortress.
From the height of its walls, painted with lichens in bright yellow, the coast of the Small Sea is clearly visible.
We continue our journey and go to Shamanka rock (Cape Burkhan).
It is one of the nine shrines of Asia.
A place where shamans performed their rituals.
Let's take a walk, fill our gadgets with bright photos and set off on our way back.
We will stop at the famous cape Dragon's Tail on the island of Ogoy.
A Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment is installed here.
A place where people make wishes and get filled with energy.
Return to the hotel.
Lunch.
The adventures are not over and after lunch we go to the Tazheran steppes.
The transport is a track car (an all–terrain vehicle on large wheels).
Tagerans admire their primitiveness, solitude and cosmic landscapes.
We go down the Snake Gorge to the ice and drive out to the most beautiful ice fields.
There is a meter of crystal thickness below us, and then about a kilometer of Baikal water.
Here we will see hummocks, dead cracks, a kaleidoscope of drawings of Baikal ice.
In the meantime, we admire and take pictures, skate – a samovar will be melted for us and a delicious picnic will be organized.
We will help ourselves to mulled wine, kiss Baikal, try snacks and the famous split.
In three days we saw a lot of ice, walked on it, took pictures, drilled and tasted the water, but there was one more action left.
And today we are going to experience completely new emotions – swimming in Lake Baikal!
We go to the sauna on the shore with the opportunity to swim in the ice hole.
If you are ready, unforgettable emotions will remain for a lifetime!

Day 4 - Crossing Lake Baikal on Khivus (Small Sea – Listvyanka)
We have breakfast and are going on a trip.
We still have one more mode of transport that we have not mastered – khivus!
And today we are going on a day trip along the west coast to Listvyanka.
Hivus takes us to the most beautiful locations.
We will overcome hummocks, cracks, spin, stop in the most beautiful locations.
Let's experience the real feeling of flying.
We will stop at Buguldike for lunch.
A table with Siberian pickles and fragrant pies will be set among the ice.
Venison dumplings are already being prepared on the campfire and the samovar is boiling.
Hot mulled wine warms and invigorates.
We enjoy the views and lunch among the crystal fairy tale.
Now we are ready to continue our adventures!
At sunset we arrive in Listvyanka, we stay at the Legend of Lake Baikal hotel.
Rooms with views of Lake Baikal and the source of the Angara River.
We have dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Day 5 - Sabrage with a view of Lake Baikal. Baikal huskies and Irkutsk
Breakfast at the hotel overlooking the source of the Angara River.
In winter, the source does not freeze and in frosts, everything in Listvyanka is covered with snow lace.
This is our final breakfast on the shore of Lake Baikal, and we will make it special!
We wake up, dress warmly and go out to the terrace, where the sommelier will be waiting for you.
Let's remember the coolest moments of the trip, record our emotions and arrange a champagne fireworks display!
And then we run to have breakfast in a warm restaurant with a stunning view.
After breakfast, we will walk along Listvyanka, take a look at the fish market and souvenir stands.
Products made of charoite stone are of great interest.
The only field in the world is located on the border of the Irkutsk region.
The mineral has an unusual lilac hue with dark and light inclusions.
From Listvyanka we will go to visit the Baikal huskies.
Beautiful and kind dogs will be welcomed with joy.
We ride sleds, hug and take pictures with animals.
Transfer to the city of Irkutsk.
Lunch at the restaurant.
And after lunch we will take a walk through the historical center of the city.
During the tour you will hear famous surnames: Speransky, Muravyov-Amursky, Sukachev, Trapeznikov, Sibiryakov, Shelikhov and many others.
The history of the city is rich in famous names and significant events.
The architecture of the city center often resembles St. Petersburg.

It used to belong to the merchant Nemchinov.
Now the Central Hotel is located here, which inherited its name from one of the hotels of the city at that time.

We are going to dinner at one of the best restaurants in the city, where we will try merchant cuisine and share our impressions of the tour.
