Day 1 - Irkutsk — Olkhon
Meeting at the airport, railway station, or hotel in Irkutsk.
Stop at a Buryat cafe on the way.
Transfer to Olkhon Island.
Accommodation at the campsite.
Meals included: dinner.

Day 2 - Cape Khoboy and northern Olkhon
Guided tour with a driver in a UAZ off-road vehicle through the northern part of Olkhon Island.
Visit Cape Khoboy and the main attractions of the island.
A trip with stops and hiking in the national park, a hot picnic lunch.
Return to the campsite.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Length: 3 km on foot, 100 km by car.
Duration: about 6 hours.
Day 3 - Cape Kobylya Golova and southern Olkhon
Khivus guided tour on the ice of the Small Sea. Visit Ogoy Island, Cape Kobylya Golova and the most picturesque bays of the island.
A trip with stops and hiking in the national park.
Return to the campsite.

Day 4 - Olkhon — Listvyanka
Departure from Olkhon Island to Irkutsk.

Day 5 - Excursion to Sandy Bay
Excursion to Sandy Bay on the ice of Lake Baikal on Khivus.
It is here that you can see the famous bubbles in the ice and stilted trees on the shore. An excursion with access to the shore and hiking in the picturesque bays of Lake Baikal, lunch-picnic.
Return to the hotel.

You can travel around Lake Baikal at any time of the year, each season is unforgettable and beautiful in its own way.

Baikal in winter

Winter Baikal consists of various forms of ice and kilometers of snow-covered plains.
Due to the great depth, the lake retains heat for a long time and the ice appears later than many expect. For example, northern Baikal begins to freeze in mid-December, ice appears on Olkhon in early January, and in the south of Lake Baikal (in Listvyanka and Baikalsk) only by the end of January.
The ice is solid enough from mid-February to the end of March, at the same time an ice crossing is operating, along which you can drive a car. In other winter months, special equipment is used, for example, Khivus, which can perfectly move both on water and on ice. There is almost no snow on Olkhon, it is there that you can see clean ice, and in Listvyanka and Baikalsk there are ski resorts, the snow is soft and fluffy.

Baikal in spring

The ice season continues in March, there is an opportunity to see various forms of ice and grottoes, go skiing and skating, take pictures of huge icicles and at the same time not freeze, since in March it is usually about -10 degrees and there is almost no wind.
In April, the ice gradually begins to melt, and in May you can see how Lake Baikal wakes up. This is a time of vivid contrasts: the ice is just beginning to descend, snow is still lying in places, and snowdrops are already blooming very close by, and the forest is decorated with elegant crimson.

Baikal in autumn

Golden autumn is a very beautiful time to travel to the lake. Sunny weather, quiet Lake Baikal and golden foliage of trees.
There are very few tourists on Lake Baikal in autumn, so no one will interfere with privacy and enjoyment.

The golden autumn season usually lasts until mid-October, and in November the first snow appears on Lake Baikal. Winter entertainment begins in December, when there is enough snow and you can enjoy the picturesque beauty of the lake and its surroundings.

Guided tours of Olkhon are standardly conducted by motor transport overland. Tourists can go out on the ice at their own discretion and under their own full responsibility. Special equipment is used for traveling on ice, and the relevant information must be provided in the contract.

Cruises are conducted according to a pre-agreed program only in conditions of satisfactory weather. If the weather conditions are unsatisfactory: strong winds and waves, then the program can be adjusted by the captain on the spot. The captain informs tourists that, given the weather conditions, the program of the planned route cannot be completed and offers tourists a choice of alternative cruise options. In this case, the cost of the cryosis does not change.

Medical insurance is not included in the price of the tour and is paid additionally. Compulsory medical insurance is in force on the territory of the Russian Federation, and the tour operator is not obliged to insure tourists, citizens of the Russian Federation. Foreign citizens should also take care of obtaining medical insurance themselves when entering the territory of the Russian Federation. We kindly ask all tourists to apply for medical insurance, extended medical insurance (including tick bite), sports insurance (including accident insurance) on their own. The Customer is obliged to provide the Tour Operator with information on medical insurance for all non-Russian tourists no later than 5 working days before the start of the tour. In the event that tourists who are not citizens of the Russian Federation do not have medical insurance, all responsibility falls on the tour customer.

The tour operator reserves the right to make changes to the order of days of the excursion program (including depending on weather conditions), to change the order of sightseeing facilities, the order of stops in hotels, to change hotels and recreation centers (to similar or higher class) without additional agreement with the customer.

Recreational fees (payment for entry to the national park, nature reserve, etc.) are not included in the price of the tour and are paid additionally, independently by the tourist on the spot.
