After rest and breakfast, full of strength and vivacity, we go to the Protected Sublemore, the so-called eastern coast of Lake Baikal, to meet new impressions!
The road to the picturesque Chivyrkuy Bay lies through the Trans-Baikal National Park, at the entrance to which we make our first stop.
We visit the business and information center, where the guide will tell you in detail about today's route and show it on the map, conduct an introductory tour about the history of the Barguzin Reserve and its inhabitants.
And now we are in protected areas!
We make a stop at the longest sandy beach of Lake Baikal, it is called the Soft Karga, from here you can enjoy views of the Barguzin Bay and the peaks of the Svyatoy Nos Peninsula.
The snow–capped mountains of the Holy Nose against the background of winter Lake Baikal are a fabulous background for stunning photos that are perfectly obtained without special additional filters.
Our next stop will be a sacred place near the Burtui stream with the purest water, in order to make an offering to Burkhan, the spirit master of the peninsula.
There are two wooden statues of a shaman and a shamaness, where each guest must make an offering and ask for permission to visit, have a good trip, good weather.
We are beginning to get into the customs and traditions of sacred places!
After reaching the Chivyrkuysky Bay, we make a stop at the Monakhovo cordon to climb 336 steps (according to the number of rivers flowing into Lake Baikal) to the observation deck: from here you can admire the bay and the Barguzin ridge from a height.
So, are you ready to step on the ice? Then go ahead!
We leave for the winter road on the meter–long Baikal ice and begin an expedition through caves and grottoes located on the islands of the Chivyrkuy Bay – a Bird's Market, Naked and Shaggy, decorated with bizarre icicles and statues, these are splashes on the rocks created by the struggle of the elements - severe frost and the indomitable power of Lake Baikal.
During a walk along Lake Baikal, we will make a parking lot in Zmeeva Bay, here right on the coast in the open air, you can take hot baths.
Thermal springs provide comfortable water with a temperature of 38-45 degrees.
Two log fonts are installed at the source.
A delicious lunch is waiting for us in the fresh air, right on the ice of Lake Baikal.
In the evening, after returning from the tour, we go to the bathhouse with the Baikal font on the shore of the Barguzin Bay!
It's great to steam up after a frosty day, alternating the searing heat of the bathhouse, extreme diving into the ice hole and complete relaxation in the font.
And after the bath, we will have a dinner of Baikal cuisine.
Included: accommodation in the Baikal Park Hotel guest house, breakfast, lunch, dinner, transfer, guide services.
