Itinerary

Day 1 - A trip to the Eastern Sayans
After arriving in Irkutsk, your fascinating Baikal journey will begin!
On a group transfer, you will go towards one of the most popular places in our region – the foothills of the Eastern Sayan Mountains.
After breakfast, you will depart from Irkutsk towards the village of Arshan, which is nestled at the very foot of the Eastern Sayan.
The path will run along a picturesque road, framed on the right hand by a string of mighty and majestic mountains, at the foot of which lies a plain, decorated with villages here and there.
The wind caresses the face, giving the fragrance of blooming meadows and the singing of awakening birds, creating an atmosphere of spring.
The purpose of today's trip is the village of Arshan, comfortably located at the foot of the Tunka Loaches. Upon arrival in the village, you will be checked in and have a sightseeing tour.
A walk through the village is in itself a pleasant pastime, a real delight for your eyes: high mountains are constantly drawn in front of your eyes, and the fresh air invigorates and lifts your mood!
During the tour, the guide will tell you about the unique nature around the village of Arshan, together you will climb to the waterfalls, gracefully bound with ice in winter, taste the healing water of mineral springs — the composition of Arshan mineral water is close to the Caucasian Narzan.
Visit 2 Buddhist datsans and a large souvenir market — here you can buy excellent tonic preparations based on the local herb sagan-dail and other medicines, souvenirs.
In the evening, you will have free time for walking and relaxing.

Day 2 - Visit to the Pearl hot springs
After breakfast at the hotel, you will go to the hot springs.
The hot springs are 45 km away from Arshan, where you spent the day before.
The pools are open all year round, and swimming in the hot springs when the winter cold reigns is an especially pleasant pleasure!
The unique properties of water have a beneficial effect on the body and health, because visiting hot springs is one of the favorite ways for tourists to relax and fill the body with strength.
After bathing in the hot springs, you will set off on the way back to Irkutsk along the picturesque Tunka Valley.
In the middle of the day, you will have lunch at a colorful cafe with local cuisine (not included in the price).
Tomorrow your journey will continue to the heart of Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island!

Day 3 - A trip to the heart of Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island
After breakfast, you will take a group transfer to the most popular place on Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island.
In spring, it begins to warm up on Lake Baikal, the first foliage appears on trees and shrubs, the wild rose blossoms, and the number of vacationers on the island is still small, which will allow you to fully enjoy your vacation.
Olkhon is a truly unforgettable and one of the most famous places on Lake Baikal, which is rightfully called a place of power and especially powerful energy!
Olkhon is considered a sacred territory, a concentration of shamanism in Central Asia.
It is visited by pilgrims from all over the world.
The way to Olkhon will run along a comfortable highway surrounded by beautiful picturesque nature.
Olkhon is an island, and they get to it through a ferry in the summer (or when the ice comes off) and through an ice crossing in winter, in spring, when the ice cover is no longer dense enough, and the ferry is not running yet, they move on khivuses.
Khivus is a hovercraft, the safest mode of transport on spring Lake Baikal.
Before crossing, your path will lie along the "Martian Road", as our guests often say about the Tazheran steppes.
Driving through the steppes, you can sometimes see swans, eagles, and many other migratory birds flying by.
Arriving on the island, you will settle in its center – the village of Khuzhir.
In the evening, you will have free time, which you can spend exploring the surroundings of the village.
Within walking distance is the business card of Lake Baikal, the most popular, recognizable and at the same time energetically strong location – Cape Burkhan, Shamanka rock.
We recommend a walk there at sunset – the rays of the setting sun color the waters of Lake Baikal with burning shades.
This is an incredibly beautiful and pleasant sight and pastime!

Day 4 - Excursion to the north of the island to Cape Hoboy
In spring, Olkhon has a special atmosphere of renewal and rebirth.
Nature wakes up from its winter sleep, the first spring flowers will bloom, the joyful singing of birds accompanies you, as well as the beautiful views of Father Baikal!
You will witness how the lake begins to break free from the ice shackles!
After breakfast, you will go on an excursion to the picturesque part of the island – to the north, to Cape Hoboy.
The path will pass through many interesting locations!
From the village of Khuzhir, we will first go to the observation deck in the village of Kharants and look at the Lion's Head and Crocodile islands in the distance.
Next, our way through an interesting location, which is called the Sandy tract!
There are very interesting places here: the popular summer beach with pomegranate sand, and also there used to be a fish factory where prisoners of a small gulag worked.
Along the way, you will also see Cape Sagan-Khushun (or "Three Brothers"), a sheer cliff of snow–white marble, after which we will reach Cape Khoboy.
Being near the edge of the cape, Lake Baikal seems endless, its greatness is felt!
On the way back you will visit Cape of Love (or Cape Shunte-Left).
Locals say that childless couples used to come to the cape, and after the rituals and prayers, they soon had children.
It is believed that the cape has not lost its magical power to this day.
You will also see with your own eyes the unusual and impressive creation of the famous sculptor Dasha Namdakov "The Keeper of Lake Baikal" — this is his gift to Lake Baikal.
The sculpture is located at some distance from the roads, on a hill.
The sculpture looks extremely authentic and majestic!
In the middle of the day, you will strengthen your strength by eating a fragrant lunch against the backdrop of beautiful Baikal blooming nature!
The tour takes place with stops in the most beautiful places where you can take wonderful photos for memory.
Returning to the hotel, you can devote the evening to horseback riding (you must book in advance before leaving for Olkhon), rest.

The end of the tour in Irkutsk: we recommend purchasing tickets for the return trip after 20:00 local time.

The place and time of the group's gathering: from the Angara hotel (Sukhbaatar str., 7, Irkutsk) in the period from 09.00 to 09.30 local time and from Irkutsk airport at 10.00.

A day before the start of the tour, a group will be created in the Telegram messenger, where all organizational information on the tour will be provided. Please install the Telegram app on your phone in advance.

The tour operator does not guarantee the Tourist accommodation in a specific hotel selected by the TOURIST from the list.

The check-in involves the accommodation of up to 3 tourists in the room. Each tourist is provided with a separate sleeping place.

If, for reasons beyond the control of the Tour Operator (cancellation or postponement of other tourists' accommodation with check-in on the same dates), a tourist could not find a check-in at any point on the route, the Tour Operator has the right to put the tourist in a single economy room.

The tourist, for whom there was no accommodation, has the opportunity to stay in a single room "standard" with an additional fee. Olkhon Island is reached by ice crossing in the winter season and by ferry in the summer. In the off-season on khivus (hovercraft). If the ice crossing does not work for climatic reasons, then the tourist pays for the crossing on Khivus himself.

In the period April-May, we recommend that tourists take care of the tick vaccination in advance or take out tick insurance.

The composition and size of the group may change throughout the tour.
