Itinerary

Day 1 - A trip to the Eastern Sayans
Today begins an exciting journey to the mountains of the Eastern Sayan Mountains.
The path will run along a picturesque road, framed on the right hand by a string of mighty and majestic mountains, at the foot of which lies a plain, decorated with villages here and there.
The purpose of today's trip is the village of Arshan, comfortably located at the foot of the Tunka Loaches.
Upon arrival in the village, you will be checked in and have a sightseeing tour.
A walk through the village is in itself a pleasant pastime, a real delight for your eyes: high mountains are constantly drawn in front of your eyes, and the fresh air invigorates and lifts your mood!
During the tour, the guide will tell you about the unique nature around the village of Arshan, together you will climb to the waterfalls, gracefully bound with ice in winter, taste the healing water of mineral springs – the composition of Arshan mineral water is close to the Caucasian Narzan.
Visit 2 Buddhist datsans and a large souvenir market – here you can buy excellent tonic preparations based on the local herb sagan-dayl and other medicines, souvenirs.
In the evening, you will have free time for walking and relaxing.

Day 2 - Visit to the Pearl hot springs
After breakfast at the hotel, you will go to the hot springs.
The hot springs are 45 km away from Arshan, where you spent the day before.
The pools are open all year round, and swimming in hot springs when the winter cold reigns is an especially pleasant pleasure!
The unique properties of water have a beneficial effect on the body and health, because visiting hot springs is one of the favorite ways for tourists to relax and fill the body with strength.
After bathing in the hot springs, you will set off on your way back through the picturesque Tunka Valley.
In the middle of the day, you will have lunch at a colorful cafe with local cuisine (not included in the price).

Day 3 - A trip to the heart of Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island
Today begins the journey to the heart of Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island.
Olkhon is a truly unforgettable and one of the most famous places on Lake Baikal, which is rightfully called a place of strength and especially powerful energy!
Olkhon is considered a sacred territory, a concentration of shamanism in Central Asia.
It is visited by pilgrims from all over the world. According to legend, Genghis Khan is buried here.
You will leave Irkutsk approximately at 10 a.m.
The path will run along roads with picturesque views – you will touch the charm of the Baikal nature on the way to Olkhon.
Your way to the ferry crossing will be along the "Martian Road", as our tourists often say about the Tagheran steppes.
Landscapes really transport you to some kind of alien reality!
You will get to Olkhon Island by ferry, and then go along the steppe part of Olkhon to its center – the village of Khuzhir, where you will check into hotels.
In the evening, you have free time, which you can spend exploring the surroundings of the village.
Within walking distance from the hotels on Olkhon is the business card of Lake Baikal – Cape Burkhan (Shamanka rock).
Shamanka is included in the attractions of the Baikal National Park.
Tourists note the energy of the place ringing in the air, you can feel it on your skin and it is difficult to find words to express delight!
After enjoying the beautiful views, imbued with the energy of the sacred place, your first day of travel is coming to an end.
Tomorrow you will have an even closer acquaintance with Lake Baikal and Olkhon.

Day 4 - Excursion to the north of the island to Cape Hoboy
Today you will immerse yourself even more in the atmosphere of Lake Baikal.
After breakfast, you will take a real local attraction – the most passable transport on the island of Olkhon, a UAZ or GAZ car – to the north of the island of Olkhon.
The northern part of the island is completely different from what you previously saw on Olkhon on the way to the village of Khuzhir.
This is not only the vast expanses of the steppes, but also the impenetrable taiga, sand dunes, and even stilted trees.
As part of the tour, you will visit Cape Sagan-Khushun (or "Three Brothers"), a sheer cliff made of snow–white marble.
The views from here will amaze you with their scale!
After that, you will reach the most popular location in the northern part of Olkhon – Cape Khoboy.
The cape is located in the very north of the island.
Its name is translated from the language of the local population as "fang", and indeed, the rocky steep shores in these places resemble animal fangs.
And together with the amazingly blue water surface, they create beautiful bright natural paintings.
From the water, the outline of the cape resembles the figure of a woman, which is associated with the legend that the Gods of Tengri made a stone statue of her because of her excessive greed, and she is destined to remain a stone as long as there is envy on Earth!
On Khoboy, you will have a delicious picnic lunch in the fresh air, after which you will go to an energetically very strong place on Olkhon - Cape Lyubov (or Cape Shunte-Levy).
Locals say that childless couples used to come to the cape, and after the rituals and prayers, they soon had children.
It is believed that the cape has not lost its magical power to this day.
In addition, as part of the tour, you will capture the amazing and impressive modern sculpture "Keeper of Lake Baikal", made by the famous sculptor Dashi Namdakov.
It was a gift to Lake Baikal, which has now become a place that attracts tourists.
In the evening you will return back to Khuzhir, the remaining time of the day can be devoted to horseback riding if desired (you must inform in advance before leaving for Olkhon).
Waiting for you: Cape Sagan-Khushun, Cape of Love, Cape Khoboy, sculpture "Keeper of Lake Baikal".

The check-in involves the accommodation of up to 3 tourists in the room. Each tourist is provided with a separate sleeping place.
If, for reasons beyond the control of the tour operator (cancellation or postponement of other tourists' accommodation with check-in on the same dates), a tourist could not find a check-in at any point on the route, the tour operator has the right to put the tourist in a single economy room.
The tourist, for whom there was no accommodation, has the opportunity to stay in a single room "standard" with an additional fee. Olkhon Island is reached by ice crossing in the winter season and by ferry in the summer.
In the off-season on khivus (hovercraft). If the ice crossing does not work for climatic reasons, then the tourist pays for the crossing on Khivus himself.
In the period April-May, we recommend that tourists take care of the tick vaccination in advance or take out tick insurance.
The composition and size of the group may change throughout the tour.
