You will get to Olkhon Island by ferry, and then drive through the steppe part of Olkhon to its center, the village of Khuzhir, where you will check into hotels.
In the evening, you have free time to spend exploring the surroundings of the village.
Within walking distance from the hotels on Olkhon is the calling card of Lake Baikal – Cape Burkhan (Shamanka rock).
Shamanka is one of the attractions of the Baikal National Park.
