Itinerary

Day 1 - Gathering a group. Transfer by train
Guided tours in the tour (priority) can be rearranged by day without changing the volume and quality of services provided.
The group will meet at the Irkutsk railway station at 21:00 (local time).
Boarding the Irkutsk -Severobaikalsk train.
Overnight transfer.

Day 3 - Arrival in Severobaikalsk. Transfer to Nizhneangarsk
We arrive in Severobaikalsk at 11:25.
Transfer to Nizhneangarsk.
Accommodation at the hotel.
Rest.
Assembling kayaks.

Day 4 - The beginning of the rafting
Breakfast.
Today we have to cross the delta of the Upper Angara River along the famous and extremely beautiful island of Yarky!
We can walk both from Lake Baikal (with good weather and calm water) and from Verkhnyaya Angara (with strong waves on the lake).
There are long sandy beaches, warm water and good fishing.
Organization of a tent camp.

Day 5 - Yarki Island – Cape Birakan section of the route

We continue our journey.

Day 6 - Cape Birakan – Frolikha Bay
Today we will reach the famous Frolich lip.
It juts into the mainland for 3 km.
Its width at the entrance is 4 km.
Then it narrows to 1.5 km.
There are many large underwater rocks on the shores of the bay, which are dangerous for navigation.
This is the result of a glacier that sank 10-12 thousand years ago from the Barguzin range.
2 km from Lake Baikal on the banks of the Frolikha River, a thermal spring with a water temperature has been known since the last century. +35-+36 degrees.

Day 7 - A small transition Frolich's lip – Ayaya lip

One magic of names can fascinate any traveler - AYAYA Bay, whose name originated from the exclamation of an Evenk hunter: "Ayaya, what a beauty!" Ayaya, deeply embedded in the land, surrounded on all sides by steep shores, has the fame of one of the most beautiful places on the northeast coast.
Ayaya has a beautiful sandy beach.
And it's time for us to go swimming and soak up the sun!

Day 8 - Ascent to the picturesque glacial lake Frolikha
Breakfast.
Ascent to the picturesque glacial lake Frolikha* (8 km).
It is a 2-hour walk along a good trail to Frolicha Lake.
The place is incredibly beautiful!
Among the high mountain peaks, in the silence of the taiga forest, there is a surprisingly heart-shaped lake.
Everyone who has visited here once remains in love with this place forever.
The picturesque lake annually attracts tourists from all over the world.
After lunch, a trip to the impressive waterfall (optional tour, payment from 2000 to 5000).
We will take a catamaran across Lake Frolikha to the Pravaya Frolikha River, and take a short hike along the path to the waterfall.
Swimming in the waterfall is optional!
*Lake Frolikha has a rather complicated shape. Two rivers flow into it (the Left Frolikha and Davatchand, flowing parallel in the same valley) and one flows into Lake Baikal (Frolikha).
Fishing there is simply wonderful, it happens that every casting of a spinner brings a pike or perch.
In addition, there are Lenok and taimen in the lake and the flowing rivers.
Lake Frolikha contains a unique red davatchan fish for Siberia, a relict form of the glacial epoch.
There are a lot of grayling in the Frolikha River.
Grandiose and calm landscapes, the purest air and water, the pristine impenetrable taiga and bear tracks, melting snow at the mountain peaks, thick fog in the mornings and sunsets in the sky, noisy rapid rivers and icy streams, undeterred schools of fish - all this is Frolic.

Day 9 - Ayaya Lip – Hakusa lip
Breakfast.
We return along the trail to Lake Baikal.
Today, the Ayaya Lip – Hakusa lip transition is coming.
Cape Hakusa is visible from afar.
Having rounded it, we observe a beautiful beach, and in the distance the curved stone cape Hamankit, translated from Evenki as "rock of arrows".
The cape is interesting because the sounds are reflected like arrows from the rocky granite pillars.
You won't find a cleaner and more powerful echo on Lake Baikal.
We dock at the four-kilometer-long Hakusa Bay beach.
Today we will definitely visit our cherished goal - the most powerful hot spring on Lake Baikal, with a water temperature of about 47 degrees.
The mineral waters of Khakus are similar in composition to the mineral springs of Pyatigorsk!

Day 11 - Crossing Baikal
Breakfast.
Collecting equipment.
We cross Lake Baikal by boat.
We are heading to Severobaikalsk.
Accommodation in the hotel.
For those who wish, for an additional fee: sightseeing (you can visit the destroyed tunnels with remnants of mica deposits, crystal clear, deep Slyudyansk lakes, Bastille - a natural site, a high fortress on the shore of Lake Baikal).
Visit the village of Baikalskoye and the picturesque Cape Ludar.
All excursions are booked in advance and paid extra.
Lunch and dinner at a cafe at your own expense.

A hermetic bag is used instead of a backpack.

Everything was impeccably organized, with no hiccups at all. The coordination was seamless. Our group consisted entirely of travelers aged 50 and above, but that didn’t stop us from exploring the most remote and stunning spots around Lake Baikal. We were fortunate to have the wonderful guide Irina Perlova, who made it all possible. Many thanks to the tour operator for an unforgettable experience.
