Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Gathering a group. Transfer Irkutsk – Severobaikalsk – Nizhneangarsk

    Gathering of the group at the airport or train station in Irkutsk from 8:00 to 9:00 (local time). 

    Accommodation at the hotel. 

    Time to rest. 

    Lunch and dinner at the restaurant (at your own expense). 

    Preparation and inspection of personal and public equipment. 

    Boarding the vehicle at 16:00.

    We are starting the transfer Irkutsk – Severobaikalsk – Nizhneangarsk.

    Overnight transfer. 

    First we move along the Kachugsky tract, then along the picturesque banks of the famous Lena River. 

    After Zhigalovo, a section of a difficult road begins.

Experience in kayaking is required. Skills of spending the night in tents, setting up a base camp, cooking in field conditions (on a campfire, on a gas burner) are required.

The Severny Baikal Guest House is located in Nizhneangarsk. The 2-storey complex includes cozy rooms, a comfortable kitchen area, a guest room, a truly homely warm atmosphere. There is a recreation area with a gazebo and a barbecue on the territory of the hotel. Shower/toilet on the floor.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour
  1. A hermetic bag is used instead of a backpack.
  2. Sleeping bag (2-layer, synthetic filler). The comfort temperature is +5!
  3. Foam (polyurethane foam mat).
  4. Foam (for sitting).
  5. A mug, a bowl, a spoon, a knife (a slinger) – everyone must!
  6. Individual first aid kit: medicines for you personally, Band-Aid, elastic bandage, insect repellent, sunscreen.
  7. Documents: passport, MHI insurance policy – packed in an airtight package.
  8. Flashlight (with a spare set of batteries).
  9. Photo camera.
  10. Toiletries (soap, towel, toothbrush...)
  11. Alloy shoes: sneakers, sandals or sneakers - they will be wet!
  12. Sushi shoes: sneakers, rubber boots or sandals.
  13. Woolen or polartek socks (for overnight stays) – 2 p.

  27. Work gloves (for working around the campfire).
  28. Matches in an airtight package – everyone must! Any means of ignition!
  29. Inflatable seat cushion for kayaks.
  30. The thermos is small with a metal flask.
