Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Meeting with Lake Baikal. Olkhon Island. Cape Burkhan Tour

    Today begins our journey to winter Lake Baikal!

    At 09:30 we will meet with the tour participants at Irkutsk airport, get acquainted and go to Olkhon Island.

    We are going to Olkhon — the road will take about 5-6 hours.

    We cross over the ice, arrive in Khuzhir, check into the hotel.

    In the evening, the first walk on the ice at Shamanka Rock.

    Everything went wonderfully! We got to see everything we had hoped to see, and three days turned out to be just the right amount of time. We were also very lucky to have Oksana as our guide. She took great care of everyone in the group and made sure everything went smoothly. She shared a wealth of interesting information and fascinating stories throughout the trip. The group itself was fantastic as well. We quickly bonded and made new friends from different regions, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
