Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Transfer Irkutsk – Listvyanka. Baikal Museum

    Meeting in Irkutsk at 12 o'clock in the morning near the main entrance to the bus station (11 Oktyabrskaya Revolyutsii str.).

    Boarding a vehicle. Transfer by bus to the village of Listvyanka (70 km).

    Visit to the Baikal Museum.

    The road resembles a rollercoaster ride along the mountains and hills, from where the beautiful Angara glimmers.

    The trip takes 60 minutes and is very scenic.

    The museum in the village is unique and has a small aquarium with representatives of the lake.

    Lunch in the village of Listvyanka (on your own), here you will have the opportunity to buy and taste all kinds of cooking Baikal omul (lunch time is 1 hour.)

    Accommodation at the economy class recreation center.

    Accommodation for 2-3-4 people.

Walking distance per day is about 15-25 km. Physical training is not required, good physical shape is required. We recommend visiting the fitness room 1-2 times a week before hiking for 2-3 months.

The tour provides accommodation in 2-3-4-bed rooms at camp sites and in a hotel in Irkutsk.

The bases are a house with rooms (outdoor amenities). 

You can charge your phones at the campsites, but the mobile connection is weak and there is no wi-fi. Please specify the details when booking the tour.

Additional payments for double occupancy are 2,600 rubles.

The surcharge for single occupancy is 4,000 rubles.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour

We recommend a backpack of 40-50 liters (depending on the items collected by the participants). But not less than 40 liters!

We do not recommend taking too many extra things on a hike. Be sure to take both light (summer) and warm (spring) clothes. Lake Baikal is changeable and everything will depend on the weather.

On a hike, you will need:

1. Documents:

  • Passport (for children — birth certificate).
  • For children under the age of 18 who travel on the route accompanied by a person responsible for them (without parents), it is necessary to have the written consent of the parents.
  • A compulsory health insurance policy.
  • A certificate from the therapist, if there are chronic diseases (the tourist assumes responsibility for his health on the tour).

2. Personal equipment:

  • Matches sealed in polyethylene or plastic packaging, or a lighter.
  • Individual first aid kit (no more than 200g by weight. A roll of Band-Aid is required);
  • Photo camera;
  • Thermos flask or plastic bottle;
  • Have protective equipment against insect bites;
  • Sunburn remedies 
  • Underwear — at least 2-3 sets;
  • Thermal underwear (set, depending on the season) — 1-2 pieces;
  • Trousers are light, athletic, for daily wear, depending on the time of the year ;
  • Jacket, fleece, etc. 1-2 pcs. (preferably made of modern materials);
  • Storm suit – jacket + trousers. Availability is mandatory (protection from wind and rain). 
  • Simple (or tracking) socks — 2-4 pairs;
  • Shoes of 1 pair, worn (half-boots or sneakers)
  • Lightweight sneakers on request (for crossings, recreation centers, on trains, etc.)
  • Tracking poles are at the discretion of the participants 
  • A cap with a visor + a beanie;
  • Personal hygiene products (toothbrush and paste, toilet paper, etc.);

Food (1-1.5 kg per person) and a group first aid kit will also be distributed among the participants.

Everyone prepares food on duty with the help of a guide. 

A sleeping bag is not required (you can take it if you freeze at night).
