  • Day 1 - Irkutsk. Listvyanka. Limnological Museum

    Meeting at the airport terminal No. 3 at 10:00 a.m. in Irkutsk (guide with a sign "Baikal").

    A short sightseeing tour of the city.

    Irkutsk was founded in 1661 and is located where the Irkut River flows into the Angara River, hence the name of the city.

    Transfer to the village of Listvyanka, where the Angara River originates, along a scenic road.

    Escort to the Limnological Museum.

    An amazing museum with the best exhibits and aquariums.

    All the museum staff are scientists.

    You will learn why Lake Baikal is so clean, what mysteries it hides, and who lives in this unique lake.

    Lunch on your own at the fish market or in the cafe of the village.

    Free time.

Personal equipment you need for the tour
