The climate on Lake Baikal is sharply continental: the sun can shine brightly during the day, the weather can be warm, even hot, and after sunset it gets sharply cold.

When traveling on winter Lake Baikal, warm clothes should be a must!

In some places on tours, communication may be lost, so if you plan to purchase a SIM card for travel, we recommend taking Tele2 - it has the largest coverage area on Lake Baikal.

Most hotels provide free Wi-Fi, but Wi-Fi is not widespread everywhere.

Most of the major Russian banks are represented in Irkutsk. In shopping malls, supermarkets, and most stores, you can pay with Visa and MasterCard, and ATMs and UnionPay terminals are less common. Nevertheless, we recommend that you have a certain amount of cash with you.

Olkhon Island is reached by ice crossing in the winter season and by ferry in the summer. In the off-season on a hivus (hovercraft). If the ice crossing does not work for climatic reasons, then the tourist pays for the crossing on khivus himself.

There are traditionally two seasons on Lake Baikal: winter (February-March during the ice season) and summer (June-August, when you can swim). But people go to Lake Baikal all year round, because at every time of the year Lake Baikal is very beautiful and there is always something to do.
Ice on Lake Baikal appears in the bays of the Maly Sea in December. And that same legendary beautiful ice rises everywhere in late January – early February and stands somewhere until the end of March - mid–April – it all depends on the ice conditions of a particular year and climatic indicators.

• The end of the tour in Irkutsk: we recommend purchasing tickets for the return trip after 19:00 (depending on the tour) local time. 
• The place and time of the gathering of the group: from the Angara hotel (Sukhbaatar St., 7, Irkutsk) in the period from 09.00 to 09.30 local time and from Irkutsk airport at 10.00. 
• A day before the start of the tour, a group will be created in the Telegram messenger, where all organizational information about the tour will be provided. Please install the Telegram app on your phone in advance. 
• The presented classification of hotel rooms does not depend on the star rating of the accommodation facility. 
• The tour operator does not guarantee the Tourist accommodation in a specific hotel selected by the tourist from the list. 
• The tour operator has the right to replace the hotel listed in the list with a similar one in category and cost. 
• Check-in involves accommodating up to 3 tourists in a room. Each tourist is provided with a separate sleeping place. 
• If, for reasons beyond the control of the Tour Operator (cancellation or postponement of other tourists' accommodation with check-in on the same dates), a tourist cannot be checked in at any point on the route, the Tour Operator has the right to accommodate the tourist in a single economy room. 
• A tourist who has not been accommodated has the opportunity to stay in a standard single room with an additional charge. To do this, the tourist must independently check with the Tour Operator no later than 14 days before the start of the tour whether there was a check-in for him and inform him of his desire to make an additional payment for accommodation in a single room "standard".
