On this tour, you and I will have a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in the colorful world of Bashkir culture and live in a remote Bashkir village in real nomadic yurts among the protected mountains of the Urals. You will find warm felt yurts equipped with comfortable sleeping places with everything you need for a comfortable stay in winter.

The tour will help you feel closer to nature, get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and introduce you to the rich culture and ethnography of the Bashkir people.

The tour can be held on any date from December to March inclusive, with a group of 6 people or more. The cost may change in this case.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Ufa. Transfer to the yurt campsite. Interactive tour to the Bashkir Yurt
05:50 Gathering of the group at the Bashkiria 4* hotel (Lenin Street, 25/29).
Meeting with an escort.
06:00 Departure from Ufa (380 km).
09:00-10:00 Full breakfast in the cafe.
13:30 We arrive at the Yurt campsite in the heart of the Urals.
We are accommodated in yurts.
Yurts are warm in winter, there is a stove in the middle, there is firewood, bed linen, decoration with a national flavor. (The toilet is rustic)
14:00-15:00 Delicious lunch, with elements of Bashkir national cuisine.
We taste national drinks (mead, koumiss, buza).
Interactive excursion to the Bashkir Yurt.
Acquaintance with the owner of the yurt, the nomadic culture of Bashkirs and the peculiarities of yurt hospitality.
Samovar tea party with Bashkir sweets.
Trying on national outfits, the history of costumes and an ethnic photo shoot on your smartphones.
Presentation of Bashkir musical instruments (kurai, kubyz).
Musical accompaniment.
19:00 We have dinner.
Free time: we walk along the village streets, enjoy the fresh air.
We go to a hot bath with brooms.

Day 2 - The Shulgan-Tash Nature Reserve. Museum of on-board beekeeping "Bee Forest"

We are moving out of the yurts.
10:00 We go on an excursion to the Shulgan-Tash Nature Reserve.
10:30 Excursion to the museum and excursion complex of the Reserve "Shulgan-Tash".
To date, the Shulgan-Tash cave, after which the reserve is named, remains the only cave in Eastern Europe with cave paintings from the Paleolithic era.
And also, it is the only nature reserve in Russia that protects native honey bees and the native Bashkir fishery – bee-keeping, in which bees live in tree hollows.

The biosphere reserve has a beekeeping department, which is engaged in on-board beekeeping and conservation of the Burzian bee.

Accommodation in felt yurts. The yurts are heated by wood-burning stoves (stoves) and electric convectors, there is firewood, bed linen, decoration with a national flavor. All yurts have tea areas – with tea and coffee, everyone can arrange a tea break. The toilet is “rustic", on site.
