A great trip to Lake Baikal in spring

Breakfast. 

Excursion to the Limnological Museum of Lake Baikal. 

Climb to the observation deck of the Chersky mountain and walk to the confluence of the Angara and the Shaman stone.

A walk on the ice. Ice skating.

Breakfast. 

Transfer by hovercraft to Olkhon on the ice of Lake Baikal. 

We will be on the road almost all day, driving on the ice, stopping at beautiful huge areas of clear ice, watching the hummocks and bizarre shapes of the Baikal ice. 

We will make a stop in Peschanaya Bay, where the famous stilt trees are, in Buguldike, where there are many ice "bubbles", at petroglyphs, hummocks, at the Olkhon Gate and at Ogoy Island. 

Lunch on the way is a dry ration. 

A hot dinner is served upon arrival. 

Accommodation in Khuzhir.

Breakfast. 

We are going to meet the dawn on Khivus to the Olkhon gate. 

We skate or just go for a walk. 

We are returning to Khuzhir. 

Walking tour of Olkhon and the surrounding area. 

To Obzornaya Mountain, to Shamanka rock, along Lake Baikal to the grottoes close to Khuzhir.

 Lunch and dinner at the base.

We say goodbye to Olkhon. 

Today we have planned a transfer by Khivus across the Big Sea to Ust-Barguzin.

A walk around the neighborhood. Dinner in the evening.

We are going to the Holy Nose Peninsula in the Trans-Baikal National Park.

Getting to know the Barguzin and Chivyrkuy bays. We will visit the longest sandy beach on Lake Baikal – "Soft Hag". 

We will visit the "Holy Nose" peninsula, if possible, we will walk along the section of the "Great Baikal Trail".

Lunch and bathing in the healing thermal springs.

After swimming and having a good dinner, we go back.

 Supper. Bathhouse.

Today we are going to the Barguzin Valley, surrounded by mountains, for the whole day.

Early breakfast. Exit. 

Today we will visit the Barguzin datsan, walk to the place of manifestation of the "Face of the Goddess Yanzhima" (considered the patroness of all women and creative natures), people come here to seek inspiration, as well as with requests for a child and finding their soul mate.

Then we go to the Ininsky Rock Garden. Granite boulders are scattered in a chaotic manner across the steppe on an area of about 10 square kilometers.

Next, the "owner" of the Barguzin valley, the stone bull "Buha Shuluun", awaits us. He not only protects the valley, but also grants wishes.

Probably the most impressive point in the Barguzin Valley is located very nearby, it is the Suva Saxony. 

In good weather, you can see the entire Barguzin Valley from here, feel the power and strength of the mountains, and capture all the boundless beauty with your eyes. Climb to the highest point, take a deep breath of clean air, sit down, relax and feel incredibly happy. 

Return to Ust-Barguzin.

We have breakfast and set off towards Ulan-Ude on the eastern side of Lake Baikal.

We will definitely stop by the Ivolginsky Datsan for an excursion and see all the most interesting things along the way. Lunch on the way.

The end of the day in a beautiful place on the shore of the lake.

Transfer to Arshan: a village at the foot of the Sayan Mountains.

Accommodation at the recreation center.

A walk around the neighborhood. 

Rest in the hot springs.

Walk to the observation deck of the peak of Love (2 km one way), to the waterfall of the Kyngarga River and the Buddhist datsan Bodhidharma.

Lunch.

Transfer to Irkutsk 210 km (approximately 3.5- 4 hours).

19:00 Arrival in Irkutsk.
