Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Ulan-Ude. Visit to Ivolginsky datsan
Today begins your journey through colorful Buryatia.
After arriving in the city, we will meet you and go to get acquainted with the center of the Buddhist traditional Sangha of Russia – Ivolginsky datsan, located 36 km west of Ulan-Ude.
Ivolginsky Datsan is a monastery-university in the Buddhist tradition, it is a whole complex, which includes 8 buildings.
It is the only university in Russia where students study philosophy and traditional Tibetan medicine.
But this is not the only reason why this complex is interesting.
The story of the Buddhist leader of the early 20th century, an associate of the Dalai Lama of the 14th century, Dashi- Dorzho Itigelov, brought widespread fame to the datsan.
After his death in 1927, his body continues to be "alive" to this day: the joints have remained mobile, and the skin is soft.
Even after examining the body, scientists were unable to explain this phenomenon.
You will have a unique opportunity to see it with your own eyes!
As soon as you enter the building where Itigelov is located, goosebumps run over your skin, and you can feel the incredible energy of the place.
After visiting Ivolginsky datsan, we will go to the capital of Buryatia, Ulan–Ude.
It is a major cultural, scientific and industrial center of Eastern Siberia.
It is the center of Buryat culture, Buddhism and Orthodoxy.
In the evening you will have a rest, the next day after breakfast we will go to the shore of Lake Baikal in Ust-Barguzin.

Day 2 - The road to Ust-Barguzin. Sretensky Monastery, magnificent Lighthouse
In the morning, after breakfast, we set off for Ust-Barguzin.
Our path will pass through the village of Turka.
It is located on the eastern coast of Lake Baikal, 169 km from Ulan-Ude.
"Turka" means "omul road" in Evenki.
The village is known for its picturesque nature and hot mineral springs, and is part of the Baikal Harbor Special Economic Zone.
It is planned to build about 45 recreational facilities here: hotels, yacht clubs, cottage settlements, etc.
On the way, we will stop at the Sretensky Monastery.
The village of Baturino, located in the Zabaikalsky district, is home to the Sretensky Convent, the only Orthodox women's monastery in the Republic of Buryatia.
The monastery is located in the valley of the Itantsa River, among picturesque hills, just 50 km from Lake Baikal.
In the spring of 2000, Bishop Evstafy of Chita and Zabaikal founded this monastery.
Despite its young age, the monastery already attracts many spiritual pilgrims.
On the way to Ust-Barguzin, we will stop at the Turtle Boulder, which is located in Turk, officially recognized as a natural monument protected by the state.
The boulder is named for a reason: it really looks like a turtle entering the water.
One of the most famous symbols of Turki is the lighthouse.
He entered the Top 8 most interesting lighthouses in Russia.
In the evening in Ust-Barguzin you will have free time, if you wish, you can walk along the embankment or relax in a hotel room.

Day 3 - Guided tour: Holy Nose – Monakhovo
You will devote today to exploring the eastern shore.
Slowly, you will drive to the Monakhovo marina along the isthmus and overlooking the Holy Nose.
We'll make a few stops.:
visit to the visitor center;
art object stop – arka, photo zone;
The train stop is on the Burtuy River.
Go up to the observation deck and admire the view of the Chivyrkuysky Bay.
There will be a hot lunch of local cuisine in the middle of the day.
Upon your return, you will have time to visit (if desired) the seal rehabilitation center. You can observe the seals, which are carefully nurtured by the staff in order to release them to Lake Baikal in the future.
You will see: the Holy Nose Peninsula, Chivyrkuysky Bay, Monakhovo, an observation deck.

Day 4 - Free day in the Barguzin Bay
You have a free day planned today according to the program.
The organizer will offer you additional excursions or activities if desired.

Day 5 - Yanzhima Goddess Datsan and Barguzin Valley Tour
In the morning, after breakfast, we go on an excursion to the datsan of the Goddess Yanzhima.
We will dedicate this day to exploring the mysterious and beautiful Barguzin Valley.
It is a land of healing springs and lakes, wild nature and majestic mountains, the sacred land of Genghis Khan's mother.
It takes about 2.5 hours to drive 175 km.
You won't notice how quickly time passes – you will be so enchanted by the views outside the car window!
The datsan is located in a picturesque place among the forest at the foot of the Barguzin range.
It is very harmoniously combined with the beauty of nature around.
Goddess Yanjima is the patroness of arts, sciences, crafts, family and wisdom, the creator of the ancient Indian language – Sanskrit.
It is said that the goddess Yanjima has the ability to bring happiness to motherhood.
You can see her face on a boulder stone, discovered in 2005.
An eco-trail leads to the stone, from which Mount Uulzakha is visible.
It is necessary to visit this place with pure thoughts and an open heart.
To see the face, try to calm your mind, relax, and immerse yourself in a state of flow.
Around the stone you will see a large number of offerings in the form of children's toys – they are brought when they ask for children.
If desired, you can leave your gift.
In the Barguzin valley, you will find many more interesting sights - the Russian village of Adamovo, the Barguzin River observation deck, for an additional fee. For a fee, you can visit the local history museum in the village of Barguzin.
After the tour, we return to Ust-Barguzin.
You will see: the mountains of the Barguzin range, a stone with the face of the goddess Yanzhima, the Datsan of the Goddess Yanzhima, the Old Jewish Cemetery, the Historical center of the village of Barguzin, a viewing platform for the village of Barguzin.

Day 6 - The road to Ulan-Ude
Today will be the final day of the tour.
In the morning, after breakfast, we set off for the capital of Buryatia, Ulan-Ude.
This is the largest city in Buryatia, the name literally translates from the Buryat "Krasnaya Uda" ("Uda" is the name of the river).
The road is more than 260 km, it will take approximately 3 hours.
On the way, we will make a stop at the local resort of Goryachinsk, where you will have the opportunity to swim in the thermal pool, visit the natural foot hot spring, buy an oxygen cocktail, and also visit the local Taiga coffee shop.
Arrival in the city around 16:00.
If you wish, you can take a walk around the city – there is a lot to see in Ulan-Ude.
