Along the protected trails of the Caucasus. Route No. 8. Walking tour

The route passes through the territory of the Caucasian State Reserve through the mountains and goes to the Black Sea.

The pedestrian part of the route begins at the Chernorechye cordon at an altitude of about 800 m above sea level, and we have to walk along a good dirt road to reach the Third Company cordon. Then the trail dives into a beautiful mountain forest, then goes along rocky scree, then goes out onto rocky cliffs with stunning views of the Malaya Laba River canyon, Tsakhvoa Mountain, Rocky Mountain and Needle Peak.

We have to climb the Aishkha pass (2401 m) and descend the steep path towards Krasnaya Polyana to the final point of the hike — the Pslukh cordon.
