The ski tour takes place at the Romantic resort in Arkhyz, the freshest, youngest and most modern resort in the Caucasus. There are new comfortable lifts, well-groomed snowmobile trails. Gondola and chairlifts quickly lift tourists to the top of the slopes.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting. Thermal springs "Pearl of the Caucasus"
12:30 Gathering of the group at the airport and at the railway station in Mineralnye Vody.
Transfer by minibus to the village. Arkhyz (about 3.5 hours).

A trip to the thermal complex at the beginning of the tour is a great way to relax and relieve stress!
In the Pearl of the Caucasus, the pools are filled with mineral water directly from underground sources.
The pools are located both indoors and directly in the open air, the water temperature in them ranges from 27 to 43C.
The water is warm, so it's nice to swim in the thermal springs even in winter.
The composition of water includes iodine, zinc, potassium, calcium, and sodium.
It cleanses the human body, rejuvenates and gives a boost of energy!
Bathing accessories (swimsuit, towel, flip-flops, hair clip) should be packed in a separate bag in advance and taken with you on the bus.
Then we go to the village of Arkhyz.
After checking into the hotel, we will take a sightseeing tour of the village.
Active part of the tour: 3 km on foot.

Day 2 - Skiing at the Romantic resort
Our group will live in the village of Arkhyz, which is located at a distance of 10 km from the ski resort "Romantic".
In the morning, the transfer takes us to the resort, and in the evening it brings us back to the hotel.
Today is our first day on the mountain!
Together with the instructor, we study the ski resort, the scheme of lifts.
The instructor will definitely tell you which tracks to start your skating from.
If you need to rent equipment, you can rent downhill skis or snowboards at the Romantic resort.
In the afternoon, we will all gather together in a cafe and discuss skiing over a delicious lunch.
Let's get some rest — and go for a ride again until the evening!

Day 4 - Trekking to the Karch observation deck is for you
To give our feet a little rest from skiing, today we are going on a walking tour through the fir forests of the Caucasus.
Those tourists who still want to ride today, the transfer will take them to the snowy slopes of the ski resort.
The Karch Rock is for you, the observation deck, the Alan Tower.
After leaving the village of Arkhyz, we head towards the Abishira-Akhuba ridge.
A snowy path will take us to the top of the cliff, where ancient ruins have been preserved.
It is said that a temple or fortress once stood here.
There is an amazing observation deck on the Karcha rock, which gives you the opportunity to get acquainted with the circular panorama of Arkhyz!
The Bolshoy Zelenchuk River runs below, the Morkh-Syrty fir ridge and Krasnaya Mountain are right in front of us.
The active part of the tour is 8.4 km, the altitude difference is 1470-1640 m, the duration of the route is 3-4 hours.

Day 5 - Skiing at the Romantic resort
Do you miss skating?
We take our skis and snowboards again and go up the mountain!
We ride on the mountain and make sure to arrange photo shoots.
If you have colored costumes of squirrels, raccoons or dragons, take them with you on a tour!
A lot of tourists ride in such bright costumes.
Traditionally, we will gather for lunch at one of the local cafes!
Very tasty hichin, lagman, shorpa, shish kebab, herbal tea and mulled wine are prepared here.
You can treat yourself to all this at the resort during lunch.

Day 7 - Departure
Transfer by minibus to Mineralnye Vody.
12:30-13:30 Arrival in Mineralnye Vody (airport, railway station), departure home.
Return tickets should be purchased for transport that departs from Mineralnye Vody after 14:00 (trains) and after 15:30 (planes).

The Nezabudka Hotel is located in the village of Arkhyz. It has family rooms.

Room amenities, TV, Wi-Fi, towels are provided. You can ask the administrator for a hair dryer.

The Nezabudka Hotel was built in 2016. All rooms have modern furniture, high-quality plumbing. The hotel has a shoe dryer, washing machine. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen where tourists can cook on their own. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, kettle, microwave, slow cooker.

The kitchen, as well as the cozy hall, are places where we always gather as a group for evening games and gatherings.

There is a private parking for cars in the courtyard of the hotel.

The trip to Baikal was a success! The organization of the tour was impeccable. Thanks to the manager in the Big Country Yulia Trubinova. All the planned trips were at a good level, the accommodation also corresponded to the promised, i.e. with all amenities. Many thanks to our instructor of the Voskhod tour club - Alexey Dusenko and all the participants of the tour. Thanks to them, the tour turned out to be very interesting, rich and diverse for me. Of course, Baikal must be seen firsthand, photos and videos will only remind you of these days, and will not convey all the beauty! It is also remarkable that we were very lucky with the weather. The sun was shining, the ice shone like crystal. I am very glad that I was lucky enough to see all this and meet such wonderful people!
