Option I

The Elbrus tour starts at 06:00.

Excursion to the foot of the highest peak of the Caucasus, Russia and Europe, Elbrus, which is the most mysterious and mystical mountain of the Caucasus.

Meals on the route are available for an additional fee.

Breakfast ~ at 07:00-08:00 at a roadside cafe — khichiny, coffee, herbal tea.

Stop (~ for 2 hours) at Cheget glade — the foot of Cheget Mountain, from the slopes of which the best view of Elbrus opens in clear weather. Two levels of the chairlift are raised to a height of 3,100 meters above sea level.

Stop (~ 3 hours) at Azau glade, the southern foot of Mount Elbrus. Climbing on closed cable cars:

• The 1st level rises to a height of 3,000 meters above sea level — Stary Krugozor station;
• The 2nd level rises to a height of 3,500 meters above sea level — Mir station;
• The 3rd level rises to a height of 3,900 meters above sea level — Gara-Bashi station.

Lunch at the Azau after the descent from the cable cars ~ at 14:00. National Balkarian cuisine: shurpa, lagman, kebabs, trout, manti, khichins.

Stop at Narzanov glade (~ 30 min.) on the way back from Elbrus. Narzan tasting, you can take unlimited bottles with you for free.

Return to the hotel ~ at 18:30-19:30.

Dinner at the hotel (if a meal plan is selected).

Option II

Dombay tour ~ at 06:30.

Dombay is the most famous tourist and ski center in the Western Caucasus. A land of blue skies, intoxicating air, rushing rivers, everyone is struck by the whiteness of huge glaciers, the emerald greenery of forests and the bright diversity of alpine meadows.

Meals on the route are available for an additional fee.

Breakfast – Karachai khichins, tea on mountain herbs.

There is a short stop in the Teberdinsky National Park: either the Ullu-Muruju Mountain River or the Kara Kel Lake.

Dombayskaya polyana (~ at 11.00.) — stop for ~ 4 hours. All the cable cars in Dombay run along the slopes of the Moussa Achitara Mountain.

Cable car ascent from Dombayskaya Polyana:

• 1st ascent by closed cable car — to a height of 2270 m above sea level.;
• The 2nd ascent along the 6-seater chairlift is to a height of 3012 m above sea level.;
• The 3rd ascent along the 4-seater chairlift is to an altitude of 3200 m. above sea level.

Free time: photos, tasting of local cuisine, markets, souvenirs.

Lunch at local cafes: khychiny, shurpa, lagman, kebabs, trout, manti, mulled wine, tea on mountain herbs.

Return to the hotel ~ at 19:30-20:00.

Dinner at the hotel (if a meal plan is selected).

Option III

The Upper Balkaria tour starts at 06:50.

The Chegem Gorge is one of the most picturesque in the Caucasus, where the film "Sannikov Land" was shot, a walk through the gorge along the Chegem mountain river to the Chegem Waterfalls, the largest karst waterfalls in the Caucasus.

Meals on the route are available for an additional fee.

After the walk, a late breakfast with dishes of the national Balkarian cuisine: kebabs, zhalbaur (liver), trout, lagman, shurpa, khychiny, homemade wine, tea on mountain herbs.

Transfer to the Cherek gorge ~ 2 hours.

The village of Verkhnyaya Balkaria in the Cherek Gorge is the ancestral home of the Balkarian people. An inspection of the ancient towers.

Cherek Gorge is a stop on an observation deck near a deep cliff overlooking an ancient mountain road.

Blue Lake is the deepest karst lake in the Caucasus (it is cold).

Aushiger village — bathing in a hot spring.

Return to the hotel ~ at 19:00-19:30.

Dinner at the hotel (if a meal plan is selected).

Option IV

Excursion "Grozny, Shali, Argun" ~ at 06:00.

Breakfast ~ at 08:00 in a roadside cafe in Ossetia — Ossetian pies (with cheese, with herbs, with meat, with fruit fillings), shurpa, tea, coffee.

Argun city — visit the "Mother's Heart" mosque, built in a modern style.

Shali City — visit the largest mosque in Europe, the Pride of Muslims, opened in 2019.

Grozny — visit the Cathedral Mosque "Heart of Chechnya", the Orthodox Church of St. Michael the Archangel, the complex of high-rise buildings Grozny City, the Park of Flowers, a walk through the city center.

Lunch in Grozny at local cafes or canteens.

Dinner – at a roadside cafe in Ossetia — Ossetian pies (with cheese, with herbs, with meat, with fruit fillings), shurpa, tea, coffee, beer.

Return to the hotel ~ at 21:00-22:00.

Mount Koltso is one of the Lermontov sites in Kislovodsk.

Tea house (free tasting of herbal tea and many types of jam. There is an opportunity to buy: jams, herbs, sweets).

Honey Waterfalls is a gorge of the Alikonovka River, decorated with several waterfalls. On the territory of the campsite there is the ethnographic museum "Karachayevsky courtyard", national costumes for photos.

Kislovodsk is a city park. A visit to the Nizhny Kislovodsk resort Park: the bridge "Damsky Kapriz", a mirrored pond with a Glass jet, a flower bed calendar, a monument to Alexander Pushkin, Lermontov playground with a monument to Mikhail Lermontov.

We will also see the Main Narzan Gallery with three narzans (common, sulfate and dolomite), Kurortny Boulevard, and the Main Narzan baths.

Return to Pyatigorsk ~ at 18:00.

Departure home.

In Pyatigorsk, a visit to Lake Failure, the place of the duel of M. Y. Lermontov.

In Zheleznovodsk, a walk through the resort park: the former summer residence of the Emir of Bukhara (sanatorium named after Telman), Pushkin Gallery, monument to Alexander Pushkin, Slavyanovsky spring, Smirnovsky spring, Cascade staircase.

In Kislovodsk, a walk through the Nizhny Kurortny Park: the bridge "Damsky Kapriz", the Mirror pond and the Glass Jet, the monument to Alexander Pushkin, the flower bed Calendar, the Lermontov playground, the bust of Mikhail Lermontov, the Main Narzan Gallery, the Colonnade.

In Yessentuki, there is a stop at the Theater Square, pump rooms of the sources of Yessentuki No. 4 and Yessentuki No. 17, a mud clinic named after Semashko.

Return to Pyatigorsk ~ at 18:00.
