Itinerary

Day 1 - Mineral Waters. Transfer to the village Arkhyz
Your adventure will begin with your arrival in Mineralnye Vody.
12:00 Gathering of the group at the railway station in Mineralnye Vody and at the airport in Mineralnye Vody.

Upon arrival, you will be met by a professional driver who will take you to the village. Arkhyz (travel time 3.5-4 hours).
If you catch the transfer at 12:00, then you will arrive in the village of Arkhyz in the late afternoon.
After checking in at the hotel and having dinner, you will have time to walk around the village, taste local dishes and buy souvenirs at the market.
On the transfer at 18:00, your planned arrival in the village will be late in the evening.
A delicious dinner and a cozy room will be waiting for you.

Day 2 - Sofia waterfalls. Sofia Valley
10.00 After a hearty breakfast, we move out on the route.
Today will give you the beauty of one of the main attractions of Arkhyz — the valley of the Sofia River.
First, you will have an auto tour to the Sofia Glade, and from there you will go on a simple trekking trip to the waterfalls.
The grandiose cascading waterfalls originate from the Sofia Glacier.
The peak of their high water comes in July-August during the total melting of snow in the mountains.
Powerful streams of cascading waterfalls collapse with great force, crashing against the rocks of the gorge, giving incredible emotions from what they saw, and nature turns this magic into a perfect place for relaxation.
13.00 By noon, you will have a picnic lunch surrounded by mountain scenery.
Having refreshed ourselves and gained strength, we will continue our walk, and in the evening we will return to the hotel.
17.00 Return to the hotel.
A delicious and hearty dinner in the company of like—minded people and a long-awaited rest is the best way to end the day.

Day 3 - The Bolshaya Dukka River. Seven-colored Lake
Today you will have a hike to the amazing beauty of the alpine Seven-colored lake.
9:30 Departure from the hotel to the route.
The route runs along the valley of the Bolshaya Dukka River.
Along the way, you can enjoy amazing views of the surrounding area and a variety of flora.
The seven-colored lake will meet you at an altitude of 2,420 m, framed by the Duka Bashi mountain range with cliffs up to 800 m high.
The water in the lake is so clean and clear that the reflection of the landscape will create the impression of a magical mirror.
14:00 The reward for hard work will be a picnic on the lake and a photo with the best views.
18:30 Return to the hotel.
In the evening, you will have dinner in a warm atmosphere.

Day 4 - Sofia Lakes (from July), until July — Lake Orlenok or Lake Belkau
8:00 Exit to the route.
Today we will devote a hike to the real pearl of Arkhyz — the Sofia lakes.
Three lakes of glacial origin are located at an altitude of 2,830 m and are surrounded by the mountains Irkiz, Mingi-Kel-Bashi and Kel.
Reservoirs are distinguished by the pure turquoise color of the water, which is due to the presence of polished quartz-spar crumbs on the bottom.
The color of the surface varies depending on the lighting, reaching its greatest brightness in sunny weather.
The route originates from the Sofia Valley, which can be reached by SUV. Then the path continues towards the Glacier Farm, after which you need to turn right and cross the bridge over the Ak-Aira river.
13:00 Picnic stop.
At the end of the journey, you will see incredible views that will undoubtedly remain in your memory forever.
After such a busy day, we return to the hotel and gain strength.
18:00 Return to the hotel.
Trekking to the Sofia Lakes is held from July to October, due to the fact that until that time the lakes are covered with ice.
Until July, we offer you an alternative route — Lake Orlenok or Lake Belkau, depending on weather conditions.

Day 5 - The Malaya Dukka River. Dukka Lakes
09:30 Exit to the route.
Today you will get acquainted with the unique Dukka Lakes duo.
First we will get to the beginning of the route, and then we will go trekking to the valley of Malaya Dukka, from where we will climb to the lakes at an altitude of 2300-2500 m.
Sunny aquamarine, sky blue, moon blue — this is how the colors of the water change when climbing the isthmus, from which two mirrored bowls are visible at once.
The path of hiking along Arkhyz lies first along the shore of an almost flat river, where trout swim, then it is replaced by a stormy river with mini waterfalls.
There are baths under them, which are a real natural gift.
13:00 Picnic stop.
17:00 Return to the hotel.

Day 6 - To the Bottomless Lake
10:00 Exit to the route.
Today we are waiting for the final breakthrough in our walking journey.
After a delicious breakfast, we set off to conquer the mysterious and such a beautiful Bottomless lake.
After reaching Kosh by car, we will make a short ascent along the ridge of the mountain. Along the way, we will admire the beauty of the surrounding slopes, the winding snake of the river.
The ridge offers a wonderful view of the village of Romantics and the upper reaches of the Malaya Dukka River.
And then you will discover an incredibly blue lake. And why is it Bottomless?
Probably because the blue of the lake merges with the blue of the sky and it is difficult to see the bottom in the depths.
14:00 Picnic stop.
17:00 Return to the hotel.
Back at the hotel, each of you will be able to once again recall the amazing days of hiking, filled with the most vivid impressions.

Day 7 - Rafting and horseback riding
The final day of our tour will be dedicated to the most popular activities of Arkhyz.

10:00 Exit to the route.

After breakfast, be ready to become real masters of the elements. Rafting on the Bolshoy Zelenchuk River will give unforgettable emotions and a frenzied release of adrenaline into the blood.

10:30-12:30 Rafting on the Bolshoy Zelenchuk River.

Having been charged with positivity, we go to lunch.

12:30-13:30 Lunch.

Next, we will go to explore the surroundings of Arkhyz on horseback, like real horsemen.

13:40-15:40 Horseback riding in the vicinity of Arkhyz to the Alan Tower.

Let's go up to the Alan Tower, a watchtower with an ancient history. From here you will have the opportunity to once again admire the views of Arkhyz and the surrounding area, enjoy the fresh mountain air and feel like a real winner.

In case the weather is not so favorable to us on this day, instead of the Alanskaya Tower, you will visit the Teberdinsky Nature Reserve and get acquainted with the amazing flora and fauna of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.

After such an active day, you will return to the hotel and spend the final evening in the company of good friends.

Day 8 - Transfer to Mineralnye Vody. Departure
Arkhyz, the land of eternal monument mountains and white snows, large and small lakes, magnificent valleys and powerful waterfalls, has forever conquered your heart.

Group transfer at 12:00 p.m. (estimated time of arrival at 16:00 p.m.) and at 16:00 p.m. (estimated time of arrival at 20:00 p.m.).

Height difference: 900 m. The automobile part of the route: 221 km.
