Visit: Lake "Failure", Aeolian Harp, grotto of M.Y. Lermontov, Academic Gallery. A walk along Goryachaya Mountain to the emblem of the Caucasian Mineral Waters — the sculpture "Eagle tormenting a Snake", a visit to Diana's grotto, the Flower Garden Park with the Lermontov Gallery and a visit to the place of M.Y. Lermontov's duel on the northwestern slope of Mount Mashuk.

OPTION I
Excursion "Tersk stud stud farm" at 13:50
According to the program of the excursion:
The Tersk Stud Farm under the Snake Mountain is the only farm in Russia where purebred Arabian horses are bred.
The Tersk Stud Farm was founded in 1889 by Count S.A. Stroganov, who brought 13 descendants of the oldest Bedouin horses to Russia from the Arabian Peninsula. The Arabian horse breed is one of the oldest on earth. It was bred on the territory of the Arabian Peninsula.
Nowadays, Arabian horses are successfully bred at the Tersk stud farm. They are distinguished by oriental pedigree, exterior beauty, lightness, temperament, grace, and extraordinary musicality.
During the tour you will learn the history of the stud farm, a lot of interesting things about the breeding of this breed, about the numerous awards of the pets of the Tersk stud farm at international exhibitions and competitions. In addition, you will be able to take a picture with an Arab thoroughbred horse!
Return to the hotel ~ at 19:00.
OPTION II
Pilgrimage tour to the relics of St. Theodosius of the Caucasus at 14:20.
According to the program of the excursion:
Transfer to the city of Mineralnye Vody.
The Intercession Church, where you can worship the relics of St. Theodosius of the Caucasus, collect holy water.
Grave grave chapel of Father Theodosius, where you can take land from the grave of the saint, buy consecrated oil.
Return to the hotel ~ at 18:00.
OPTION III
The trip "Suvorov baths" at 18:00.
Transfer to the village of Suvorovskaya. Suvorov thermal springs are a great place for treatment and relaxation. On the fenced territory of the complex there are pools with hot mineral water (2 outdoor and 1 indoor). Mineral water relieves pain in the joints and back well, calms the nervous system.

Day 4 - Thursday. Upper Balkaria
Excursion "Upper Balkaria" at 6:50
According to the program of the excursion:
The Chegem Gorge is one of the most picturesque in the Caucasus, where the film "Sannikov Land" was filmed, a walk along the gorge along the Chegem mountain river to the Chegem Waterfalls — the largest karst waterfalls in the Caucasus.

After the walk, a late breakfast of dishes of the national Balkarian cuisine: kebabs, zhalbaur (liver), trout, lagman, shurpa, khychiny, homemade wine, tea on mountain herbs.
Transfer to the Cherek gorge ~ 2 hours.
The village of Upper Balkaria in the Cherek Gorge is the ancestral home of the Balkarian people. Inspection of ancient towers.
Cherekskaya Gorge is a stop on an observation deck near a deep cliff overlooking an ancient mountain road.
Blue Lake is the deepest karst lake in the Caucasus (it is cold).
Aushiger village — bathing in a hot spring.

Day 5 - Friday. Zheleznovodsk

According to the program of the tour:
Zheleznovodsk is the most picturesque of the resort towns of the Caucasian Mineral Waters. It is located on the slopes of Zheleznaya Mountain. It is famous for its calcium waters.
A walk through the Zheleznovodsk resort Park: Ostrovsky baths, Lermontov spring, monument to M.Y.Lermontov, cottage of the Emir of Bukhara (E.Telman sanatorium), Pushkin Gallery, monument to A.S. Pushkin, Slavyanovsky and Smirnov springs (tasting of mineral water), Smirnov playground, Cascade staircase.
Return to Pyatigorsk ~ at 18:00.

Day 6 - Saturday. Elbrus or Dombay
OPTION I
Excursion "Elbrus" ~ at 6:30.
Excursion to the foot of the highest peak of the Caucasus, Russia and Europe, Elbrus, which is the most mysterious and mystical mountain of the Caucasus.
Meals on the route for an additional fee.
Breakfast ~ at 8:00 in a roadside cafe — khychin (flatbread with cheese and potatoes or meat) and herbal tea.
Stop (~ for 2 hours) at the Cheget meadow — the foot of the Cheget mountain, from the slopes of which the best view of Elbrus opens in clear weather. Two levels of the chairlift lift to a height of 3,100 meters above sea level.
Stop (~ 3 hours) at the Azau meadow — the southern foot of the Elbrus. Climbing on closed cable cars.
The 1st level rises to a height of 3000 meters above sea level - the station "Stary Krugozor".
The 2nd level rises to a height of 3,500 meters above sea level - Mir station.
The 3rd level rises to a height of 3900 meters above sea level - the Gara-Bashi station.

Excursion to Dombay ~ at 6:30.
Dombai is the most famous tourist and ski center in the Western Caucasus. The edge of the blue sky, intoxicating air, rushing rivers, everyone is amazed by the whiteness of huge glaciers, the emerald green of forests and the bright grasses of alpine meadows.

The Ullu Muruju Mountain river is one of the cleanest rivers on the planet from which you can drink! A stop, a photo, a set of bottled water.
Dombayskaya polyana (~ at 11.00.) — stop ~ for 4 hours. All cable cars in Dombay are laid along the slopes of Moussa Achitara Mountain.

1st ascent by a closed cable car to a height of 2270 m above sea level.
2nd ascent of the 6-seater chairlift to a height of 3012 m.n.o.m.
The 3rd ascent along the 4-seater chairlift to a height of 3200 m.n.o.m.

Day 7 - Sunday. Kislovodsk complex

Excursion "Kislovodsk complex" at 8:20.
Mount Koltso is one of the Lermontov places in Kislovodsk.
Tea house (free tasting of herbal tea and many types of jam. There is an opportunity to buy: jams, herbs, sweets).
Honey Waterfalls is a gorge of the Alikonovka River, decorated with several waterfalls. On the territory of the campsite there is an ethnographic museum "Karachayevsky farmstead", national costumes for photos.

Kislovodsk is a city park. A visit to the Nizhny Kislovodsk resort Park: the bridge "Ladies' Caprice", a Mirror pond with a Glass stream, a flower bed calendar, a monument to A.S. Pushkin, Lermontov playground with a monument to M.Y. Lermontov, the Main Narzan gallery with three narzans (common, sulfate and dolomite), Kurortny Boulevard, the Main Narzan baths.

It's important to know

Documents

The first and most important thing is the documents! PASSPORT and birth certificate of the child (if you are traveling with children). What for? Firstly, in your travels you will cross the borders of the subjects of the Russian Federation and therefore passport control is possible. Secondly, there is a discount for children on all cable cars, but only upon presentation of a birth certificate!

Clothes

Clothes should be light, comfortable and warm. Traveling through the mountains, you will most likely have to cross several climatic zones at once, which means that the temperature difference is guaranteed. Therefore, do not be lazy to put on several things at once. Let's have a T-shirt, a warm sweater, and a down vest on you. You can always take off the top "layer", or vice versa, quickly insulate yourself as needed. And be sure to wear warm, waterproof shoes. Don't forget your swimsuit and slippers. And also take spare dry socks with you (take them with you on excursions if your feet get wet). For women, a headscarf for visiting mosques and temples.

Cosmetics

Sunscreen in order to avoid sunburn is simply necessary! After all, it is much easier to get them in the mountains than in the flat part. Do not forget a hygienic lipstick, because it is often windy in the mountains and you can chafe your lips. As well as sunglasses.
