On the way to Dombay, we will arrange an intense photo shoot at the colorful Gumbashi pass, stop at the Muruju River to admire the wildlife.

Not far from the village of Khetagurovo, we will climb the holy mountain Shoan ("sanctuary"), on which stands the ancient Christian Cathedral of St. George the Victorious. This is the Alan temple of the first half of the 10th century, a pearl of Byzantine architecture, recognized as a monument of national significance.

On the way, we will make a stop and look at the Sentinsky Temple towering on the mountain, which is one of the five most ancient temples of the 10th century in Russia and built in the Byzantine style.

Next, our way lies through the Teberdinsky State Nature Reserve. There are a wide variety of natural landscapes here: mountains with peaks touching the sky, glaciers with ancient secrets, forests with many amazing animals.

Let's go up to the rock Face of Christ, a monumental icon painted on a rock. The Savior's gaze is directed at the Northern Temple. It was in this temple that the Alans were baptized in the 10th century AD.

On the way to Pyatigorsk, we will visit the Pearl of the Caucasus thermal complex. Ticket to the thermal baths — 600 rubles.

On the way, we will make a stop to explore the natural monument — Mount Koltso. After a walk at the Honey Waterfalls, you will have time to relax and enjoy the natural scenery, taste the national cuisine.

The acquaintance with Kislovodsk begins in the old part of the city, from the Kislovodsk fortress, which gave rise to the resort town in the early years of the 19th century.

We will continue along the alleys and paths of the Kurortny Park, the second largest man—made park in Europe. Once upon a time, Mikhail Lermontov, Alexander Pushkin, Leo Tolstoy and Anton Chekhov strolled here.

The Glass Stream Waterfall, the Mirror Pond and the Damsky Kapriz Bridge are picturesque sights in a quiet and secluded part of the Resort Park.

We will go to the foot of the highest mountain in Europe — Elbrus (5462 m), along the way we will get acquainted with the sights of the largest and most famous Baksan gorge in the Central Caucasus, visit the beautiful Narzan Meadow.

Then we will climb to the Azau glade (2,300 m above sea level). Coniferous forest, mountain air, and natural narrows create a good mood and strengthen the immune system.

Cable car ride to Elbrus station "Mir", 3450 m. Cable car ticket — 2,700 rubles. Let's explore the surroundings: the intoxicating feeling of conquering the highest peak in Europe, the endless panorama of snow-capped ridges and clouds passing underfoot.

Along the way, we will learn the story of the conquest of one of the most beautiful peaks in the world, a dormant volcano, which is associated with many mystical events. The cable car will take us to the eternal snow and ice, to the unimaginable panoramas of the Main Caucasian Mountain Range.

Those interested in history can visit the Museum of the Military Glory of the Defenders of Elbrus during the Great Patriotic War, and someone will just want to go to a cafe, try local pastries, hot dishes, tea, coffee, mulled wine.

One of the main natural attractions is the Lower Blue Lake, which is part of the Lake Balkaria complex. The largest and deepest karst lake, which the ethnic population calls "bottomless," is shrouded in a huge number of legends and mysteries.

This will be followed by an inspection of the Cherek Gorge, the narrowest part of the gorge. It is here that you can observe the picturesque steep cliffs that amaze with their size and grandeur, as well as see the full power of the Cherek River, which formed the gorge itself.

The observation deck overlooking the Cherek Canyon will be one of the unforgettable stages of the tour.

Climbing higher, we find ourselves in the mountainous village of Verkhnyaya Balkaria, which is known as the "open-air museum" because it is here, surrounded by mountains, that buildings from the late Middle Ages have been preserved.
