The Western Caucasus is the best place for winter holidays! These mountains are always pleasing with an abundance of snow and excellent trails. It is here that you can not only ride, but also take stunning photos with views of Elbrus and the main Caucasian ridge.

To diversify our winter holidays, in this tour we will visit two ski resorts of the Western Caucasus at once — Dombai and Arkhyz and determine where the most delicious hychines are baked, and at which resort the snow is softer.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting. Thermal springs
Group gathering:
13:30 railway station Min. Waters;
14:00 airport Min. Water.
Transfer by minibus to the village. Arkhyz (about 3.5 hours).
On the way we will make a stop at the thermal springs.
There are outdoor pools where you can swim in the healing, thermal water.
Bathing accessories (swimsuit, towel, flip-flops, hair clip) should be packed in advance in a separate bag and taken with you on the bus.
Accommodation in a hotel in the village of Arkhyz, sightseeing tour of the village.
Active part: 3 km on foot.

Day 2 - Skiing at the Romantic resort
The Romantic resort in Arkhyz awaits us today.
Due to the fact that there are several green trails, it is very good to learn to ski for the first time in Arkhyz.
Those who are already riding confidently will enjoy the well-groomed blue, red and black trails.
The trails are leveled daily by snowmobiles, which makes skiing in Arkhyz very comfortable.
Modern gondolas in a positive tangerine color take tourists to the slopes of the mountains.
Thanks to this system of lifts, the Romantic resort is rightfully considered one of the most comfortable in the Caucasus!
There is also plenty of room for kids on the tour: they can go sledding and tubing.
In addition, the children have a private, fenced slide for skiing.
After riding half a day on the mountain, we all go to a cafe for lunch (not included in the price).
In the evening, after skiing, the group returns to the hotel.

We master new tracks, hone our skills and just enjoy skiing.

Day 4 - Vacation at the Romantic ski resort
We continue to enjoy our ski tour and ski in the Arkhyz mountains.
Local lifts rise to a height of 2,800 m, from where, in sunny weather, an amazing panorama of mountains opens: Mount Sofia is visible, the highest point of these places is Mount Pshish.
From here, the Sofia and Dukka gorges with dozens of lakes open in all their glory.
Duration of the active part of the tour: 6-7 hours.
In the evening, after the end of skiing, transfer to the village of Dombay (150 km, travel time about 3 hours).
Check-in at the hotel.

Day 5 - Vacation at Dombay ski resort
Today, the tour will have the opportunity to climb to a height of 3,200 m on Dombay cable cars.
In clear weather, we will take photos with Elbrus and magnificent photos of the Main Caucasian Ridge.
Dombay resort is good because the cable cars start from the village itself.
Therefore, if you have already rolled, at any time you can go down the mountain and walk to the hotel.
And then you should go for a walk around the Dombay resort, admire its beautiful mountains and take photos of snow-covered fir trees.

Day 6 - Skiing in Dombay ski resort
We continue to explore new Dombay ski trails!
Perhaps you will like a comfortable forest track or want to spend the whole day at an altitude of 3000 m!
Traditionally, we will have lunch at one of the local cafes (not included in the price).
Excellent hichin, chebureks with cheese and tomatoes, noodle soup, lagman, shorpa, shish kebab, trout baked in foil are prepared here.
After the main course, it's nice to treat yourself to tea with blueberries, raspberries or hot mulled wine.
Duration of the active part of the tour: 7-8 hours.

Day 7 - Departure
Transfer by minibus from Dombai to Mineralnye Vody (3-3.5 hours).
12:30-13:30 Arrival in Mineralnye Vody (airport, railway station).
Departure home after the end of the tour.

The tour includes accommodation in the villages of Arkhyz and Dombay.

The surcharge for a single room in a hotel room is 17,500 rubles / the entire rest period.

A guest house with barbecue facilities and a terrace is located in Dombay. It offers a shared lounge, a bar and ski storage.

A cozy lobby with a fireplace in the hotel and a gazebo with a barbecue in the courtyard are places where we always gather as a group for games and gatherings. There is a private parking for cars in the courtyard of the hotel.

The reception is open 24 hours a day. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. There is a shared kitchen at guests' disposal.

All guest house rooms have a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, towels and bed linen.

There are room amenities, a hairdryer and a refrigerator on the floor. There is a thermopot on the ground floor of the hotel, where you can get hot water for tea.

- Dombay resort. One-day ski pass on the gondola cable car — 2,400 -3,600 rubles. The cost of one chairlift is 300 rubles. Discounts for children from 3 to 12 years old and seniors;
if necessary, ski equipment rental in Dombay village, Arkhyz — 900-1400 RUB/day;
To consolidate and improve your skating skills, we recommend using the services of professional instructors. The cost of the service starts from 2,500 rubles/hour.;
