Dombai is attractive because it is interesting for both beginners and professionals to ride here. For those who started skiing for the first time, welcome to the "frogs" — small, light and gentle slides for beginners.

Most of the trails are designed for comfortable skiing: moderate slope, smooth terrain and a very wide snow plateau. For lovers of extreme skiing, welcome to the southern slopes of Moussa Achitara Mountain and the steep slopes in the lower, wooded part of the mountain.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting. Thermal springs
Group gathering:
13:30 railway station Min. Waters;
14:00 airport Min. Water.
We are heading to the Dombay ski village!
On the way we will stop to swim in the thermal springs of the Caucasus.
A spring is a warm spring that springs directly from the ground.
The Pearl of the Caucasus complex has several swimming pools, the water in which is rich in mineral salts.
The water temperature in the pools ranges from +20 to +43C.
It is attractive that you can swim here both in the warm and in the cold season.
It is always pleasant to relax, unwind and restore peace of mind in the thermal pools.
Pack your bathing accessories (swimsuit, towel, slippers, hair clip) in advance in a separate bag and take them with you on the bus.
Transfer to the village of Dombay.
Check-in at the hotel.

Day 2 - The first ride
Today is our first day in the mountains — let's not waste time!
Let's go for a ride.
There are old and new cable cars in Dombay.
We climb up one of them to the ski area.
At an altitude of 2500 m there is a comfortable ski area for beginners.
There are several gentle, green trails here.
Those who are already confident on skis should climb to a height of 3012 m.
This is where some of the blue ones start.
In clear weather, Elbrus can be seen from a distance from a height of 3,000 m!
And very close to us is the Main Caucasian Ridge, with snow—capped peaks 3,000—4,000 m high.
For lunch, we will all gather in a cafe and someone will taste local dishes for the first time.
After lunch, we continue skiing!

Day 3 - Skiing in Dombay ski resort
We continue to ride Dombai!
We master new tracks, hone our skills and just enjoy skiing.

Day 4 - Trekking in Alibek Gorge
To diversify our trip and rest our feet from skiing, today we are going trekking in the gorge.
In Alibek gorge, we will walk through a coniferous forest, along slender firs and fir trees decorated with snow caps.
The road to the gorge is very pleasant, it smoothly gains altitude and leads to the Alibek alpine camp.
In an alpine camp, deer often stay in a pen for the winter.
If we're lucky, we'll be able to see them and feed them!
We will have lunch on the territory of the alpine camp, relax and set off on our way back.
Active part of the tour: 11.2 km on foot, altitude difference 1590-1830 m, trekking duration 5-6 hours.

Day 5 - Forest and sky-high trails
If you have already ridden all the trails and you want something new, then you can climb to the very top of Moussa Achitara.
A cable car was built here not so long ago and now you can enjoy riding down from a height of 3,200 m.
There are also interesting trails in the lower part of the mountain. They are interesting because they pass through the coniferous forest.
It is very pleasant to drive when you are surrounded by huge, green fir trees!
By tradition, we will gather for lunch in one of the cafes, of which there are a lot: in some you can sit inside, and in some cafes it is so nice to sit at tables right on the street!
At such moments, you can not only taste delicious, local dishes, but also sunbathe a little in the sun.
In addition to lunch, we recommend trying local teas made from mountain herbs or tea with barberry, sea buckthorn or lingonberry.

Day 6 - Skiing at the ski resort
We continue skiing and snowboarding on Dombai!
We master new tracks, hone our skills and just enjoy skiing.

Day 7 - Departure
Transfer by minibus to Mineralnye Vody (3-3.5 hours).
12:30-13:30 Arrival in Mineralnye Vody (airport, railway station), departure home.
Depending on the weather conditions, the physical condition of the participants and other factors, the ski tour route may be changed.

The surcharge for 1-bed accommodation in a hotel room is 15,000 rubles / the entire rest period.

Possible placement options are indicated. The specified accommodation facilities can be replaced with similar ones by the decision of the tour operator.

A guest house with barbecue facilities and a terrace is located in Dombay. It offers a shared lounge, a bar and ski storage.

A cozy lobby with a fireplace in the hotel and a gazebo with a barbecue in the courtyard are places where we always gather as a group for games and gatherings. There is a private parking for cars in the courtyard of the hotel.

The reception is open 24 hours a day. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. There is a shared kitchen at guests' disposal.

All guest house rooms have a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, towels and bed linen.

There are room amenities, a hairdryer and a refrigerator on the floor. There is a thermopot on the ground floor of the hotel, where you can get hot water for tea.
