Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting. Thermal springs
Until 12:30, the group gathers at the airport and at the railway station in Mineralnye Vody (near the main entrance from the city).
After gathering the group, we are on our way to the Dombai ski village!
On the way, we will stop by to swim in the thermal springs of the Caucasus.
The source is a warm spring, gushing directly from the ground.
The Pearl of the Caucasus complex has several swimming pools, the water in which is rich in mineral salts.
The water temperature in the pools ranges from +20 to +43C.
The attraction is that you can swim here in both warm and cold seasons.
The thermal pools are always a pleasure to relax, unwind and restore spiritual harmony.
Pack your bathing accessories (swimsuit, towel, slippers, hair clip) in advance in a separate bag and take them with you on the bus.
Transfer to the village of Dombai, check in at the hotel.

Day 2 - The first ride
Today is our first day in the mountains — let's not waste time!
Let's go for a ride.
There are old and new cable cars in Dombai.
We climb one of them higher, into the ski area.
At an altitude of 2500 m there is a comfortable ski area for beginners.
There are several gentle, green trails.
Those who are already confident on skis should climb to a height of 3012 m.
It is from here that several blue ones begin.
In clear weather, Elbrus is visible from a distance from a height of 3000 m!
And very close to us is the Main Caucasian Ridge — snow—capped peaks with a height of 3000-4000 m.
For lunch, we will all gather in a cafe and someone will try local dishes for the first time: hychiny, lagman, shorpa, shish kebab or baked trout in foil.
After lunch, we continue skiing!

Day 3 - Skiing in Dombay ski resort

Day 4 - Trekking in Alibek Gorge
To diversify our trip and give rest to our feet from skiing, today we go trekking in the gorge.
In Alibek gorge, we will walk through a coniferous forest, along slender fir trees and fir trees decorated with snow caps.
The road to the gorge is very pleasant, it smoothly gains altitude and leads to the Alibek alpine camp.
In the alpine camp, deer often stay in the pen for the winter.
If we're lucky, we'll be able to see them and feed them!
On the territory of the alpine camp, we will have lunch, relax and set off on our way back.
The active part of the tour: 11.2 km on foot, altitude difference of 1590-1830 m, trekking duration of 5-6 hours.

Day 5 - Forest and sky-high trails
If you have already ridden all the tracks and you want something new, then you can climb to the very top of Moussa Achitara.
A cable car was built here not so long ago and now you can ride down from a height of 3200 m with pleasure.
There are also interesting trails in the lower part of the mountain.
They are curious because they pass through the coniferous forest.
It is very pleasant to drive when you are surrounded by huge, green fir trees!
According to tradition, we will gather for lunch in one of the cafes, of which there are a lot: in some you can sit inside, and in some cafes it is so nice to sit at tables right on the street!
At such moments, you can not only taste delicious local dishes, but also sunbathe a little in the sun.
In addition to lunch, we recommend trying local teas made from mountain herbs or tea with barberry, sea buckthorn or lingonberries.

Day 6 - Skiing at the ski resort
We continue skiing and snowboarding on Dombai!
We master new tracks, hone our skills and just enjoy skiing.

Day 7 - Souvenir shops, departure
The most desperate skiers will be able to ride a little more in the morning.
Everyone else can take a walk around the souvenir market, which is especially good on weekends!
From these places it is worth bringing magnets, jam from cones, blueberries, lingonberries, herbal teas or knitted shawls as a souvenir.
Check-out from the hotel at 12:00.
Transfer by minibus to Mineralnye Vody (3-3.5 hours).
15:00-16:00 Arrival in Mineralnye Vody (airport, railway station), departure home.
Depending on the weather conditions, the physical condition of the participants and other factors, the route of the ski tour may be changed.
