Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Pyatigorsk: the place of Lermontov's duel, Lake Failure, Aeolian Harp gazebo, Lermontov grotto, Chinese gazebo, Eagle, Flower Garden Park, Lermontov Gallery

The group gathers at the railway station at 12:00-12:30 (Moscow time) and at the airport in Mineralnye Vody.

The tour begins with a transfer by minibus to our first city Kavminvod — sunny Pyatigorsk (40 minutes).

This city is held in their palms and embraced by five beautiful mountains: Mashuk, Beshtau, Dagger, Zheleznaya and Camel.

During our trip, we will definitely climb one of them!

We will start our walk around the city by visiting the place of Lermontov's duel, then we will see the lake "Failure".

The lake is located inside the cave and has an incredibly beautiful turquoise color. Here we will make a wish near the monument to Ostap Bender.

You may even have to stand in line at the monument, because there are always a lot of people who take sightseeing tours to Kavminvody.

We continue our journey through the renovated Pyatigorsk Park and admire the unusual locations: An Aeolian harp, a Chinese gazebo and, of course, a bronze eagle!

Do you remember the eagle, which is the symbol of Kavminvod? This eagle is located in Pyatigorsk!

Next, we will continue trekking through the Flower Garden Park, which pleases tourists with beautiful flower clubs at any time of the year.

Let's look into Diana's grotto and take a photo of the sophisticated Lermontov Gallery here.

From the outside, it looks like a fairy-tale palace, very elegant and delicate. Musical concerts are often held within its walls.

The active part of the tour in Pyatigorsk and Kavminvody: 4.8 km, altitude difference 520-620 m, trekking duration 3-4 hours.
