A hike through the places of military glory of the Tuapse region with a climb to the main peaks of the region: Turkey, Turkey, Semashko, Two Brothers. Tuapse district is a place where fierce battles took place during the Great Patriotic War on the approaches to the Main Caucasian Ridge.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Tuapse — Turkey village
Gathering of the group at the main entrance to the railway station.
Tuapse gathering at 8:00, start at 8:30.
Transfer to the village of Turkey.
We climb along a scenic trail among blooming azaleas and rhododendrons to the foot of Mount Turkey.
We'll set up camp at the spring.
Next, climb to the top of the stone wonder — Turkey crest.
From the top we admire the surrounding nature and the sunset.
Descent to the camp.
Day 2 - Through the mountains and places of military glory
We will climb a wide path to the top of Turkey Mountain.
From the top of the mountain there is a view of the Turkey ridge.
Climb to the top of Kruglaya glade, admire the mountains: Fisht, Oshten and Pshekho-Su.
We will visit the burial grounds of weapons, and we will observe a minute of silence for the feat of Soviet soldiers in the Great Patriotic War.
We share our vivid impressions of the past day.

Day 3 - Mountains, Dvubratsky waterfall, village Anastasia. Departure
We climb light to the top of Semashko.
Group photo near the memorial monument.
Descent and light trekking to the top of the mountain are Two brothers.
We make a stop near the stream.
Having rounded the top of Two Brothers, the miracle of the Tuapse region awaits us — Dvubratsky waterfall.
Then we go down the path to the village of Anastasievka.
Here we part ways, until we meet again.
Those who wish can continue their vacation at the Anastasievskie Polyany campsite, or they can travel to the Black Sea.

I’m incredibly grateful to the tour operator Big Country for organizing my hike to the Dzitaku Lakes. I really appreciated how quickly the managers responded to all my questions, and how clearly and professionally they prepared the full set of documents. From start to finish, the managers stayed in touch and supported me throughout the entire journey. Since there wasn’t a group available for the original tour, the company slightly adjusted my route and joined me with another group heading to the Bzerpinsky Ledge.
