Day 1 - Arrival. Pyatigorsk and Zheleznovodsk
Arrival in Pyatigorsk.
Check-in at the hotel (check-in from 14:00), things can be left in the luggage room at the hotel.
We recommend having lunch in advance, as there will be no such opportunity during the tour.
Meeting in the lobby of the hotel with a representative, followed by departure for an excursion according to the schedule of meetings in the lobby of each hotel on the first day of the tour.
Two cities, two completely different characters! First, bright and literary Pyatigorsk.
The city where the shadows of Ostap Bender and Kisa Vorobyaninov still roam near the Sinkhole and the Tsvetnik Park.
We will follow their route, but with a reliable guide, so you will definitely get to the fountain "Happy Catch".
You will touch the places of Lermontov, feel the bubbling rhythm of the oldest resort and see everything that makes it iconic.
And then the silence and peace of Zheleznovodsk will engulf us.
This is not a city in a park, this is a park in which the city has harmoniously dissolved.
There is no place for fuss here, only the whispers of the centuries-old forest and the clean, intoxicating air.
We will walk along the natural forest trails, admire the eastern palace of the Emir of Bukhara and descend the grand Cascading staircase.
But the main treasure of Zheleznovodsk is underground.
We will go to its legendary springs to taste first-hand, or rather, from the first pump rooms, the living water of the Slavyanovsky and Smirnov springs.
This is a journey from the irony of literature to the healing power of nature.

Day 2 - Elbrus region
Breakfast (lunch box, except the Yuzhnaya hotel).
From 06:00-06:30 gathering at the hotels for an excursion to the wonderful mountainous region, praised by Vladimir Vysotsky and won the hearts of millions of people — in the Elbrus region.
The Elbrus region is a land where the majestic Elbrus reigns over the whole world, like a giant frozen in eternity.
Its snow-capped peaks pierce the azure sky, and the sun's rays dance on the icy slopes, creating a play of light and shadow. Coniferous forests, shrouded in morning mist, whisper ancient legends, and mountain rivers carry their crystal-clear waters through picturesque valleys.
The road running along the Baksan Gorge meanders like a ribbon, sometimes climbing steep slopes, then descending to the rushing waters of the Baksan River.
The air here is filled with the scent of pine trees and the freshness of mountain winds, and every turn opens up new, breathtaking landscapes.
When you reach the Azau clearing, you will be greeted by the silent might of Elbrus, its double-humped peak shining in the rays of the sun, as if inviting you to climb.
The cable car, like a thread connecting the earth and the sky, smoothly lifts you higher, revealing panoramas that seem to be the creation of a brilliant artist.
With each turn of ascent, the world around is transformed: dense forests remain below, giving way to alpine meadows, and then eternal snow.
At an altitude of 3,850 meters, you find yourself in the realm of silence and eternal winter, where even breathing becomes part of this splendor. But the journey does not end there — the Cheget glade awaits you, where chairlifts will carefully take you to an altitude of 3,100 meters.
From here, Elbrus and Mount Donguz-Orun are clearly visible, their peaks seem to float in the clouds.

Day 3 - Vladikavkaz, Ingushetia
Only citizens of the Russian Federation can participate in this tour, in connection with a visit to mountainous Ingushetia.

Departure to Vladikavkaz from 06:00-06:30.
The road to Vladikavkaz becomes a meditative passage through mountain valleys, where the landscapes outside the window change like the pages of an illustrated chronicle.
The capital of North Ossetia welcomes the quiet whisper of century-old lime trees on its ancient streets, where each mansion preserves the silent history of merchant glory and architectural pursuits.
A walk along the cobblestones is a journey through temporary layers, where the air smells of old wood, history and fresh pastries from a nearby coffee shop.
The Memorial of Military Glory appears as a natural extension of the urban landscape, a place where silence acquires a special density and significance, and granite slabs store not names, but whole destinies.

And after lunch, a complete change of scenery! This day will be a journey to the roots, a dialogue with a civilization carved in stone.
After leaving the city, the road will gradually begin to wind into the heart of mountainous Ingushetia.
The Targim basin opens before your eyes — an ancient valley sacred to the Ingush people, surrounded by majestic ridges, as if guarding its peace.
This is a place of power, where the earth breathes legends about sleds and ancient heroes.
Here, time stood still, allowing you to hear the echo of the footsteps of long-gone generations.
Next, we will meet stone giants — the Targim and Egikal tower complexes.
These are not just ruins, but the ingenious creations of medieval architects who embedded entire villages in the rocks.
You will touch the rough walls of battle towers that soared into the sky to protect the family, and look into the openings of residential buildings where life was in full swing.
The temple of Thaba-Yerdy will complete the immersion into the depths of time. A twenty-minute walk along the path leads to it, which in itself clears thoughts.
The temple, one of the oldest in Russia, stands modestly in a valley, representing an amazing fusion of Christian and pagan symbols.

Day 4 - Fearsome
Breakfast at the hotel.
Room release.
Excursion to Grozny, we go to see the symbols of the new Caucasus. Get the cameras ready: the view from the height of Grozny City will overwhelm you!
You will learn the history of Chechnya's rebirth at the Akhmad Kadyrov Modern Museum and see some of the most magnificent mosques in the world — the "Heart of Chechnya", "Mother's Heart" and "Pride of Muslims". Each of them is a unique architectural masterpiece.
This day will give you an incredible contrast: from the classic look of old Vladikavkaz to the futuristic glow of the new Grozny.
This day will end in Pyatigorsk in a modern hotel, but a kaleidoscope of images will be spinning in my head for a long time: from the cobblestones of old streets, ancient towers to the reflection of minarets in the glass of skyscrapers, creating a holistic but strikingly contrasting picture of the region.

Day 5 - Chegem Gorge

09:00 Departure to the Chegem gorge.
Here you will witness a unique natural phenomenon — "crying waterfalls".
Hundreds of thin streams, like living silver, seep right out of the monolithic rock, creating a magical curtain ringing with coolness.
The sound of the river rushing down below and the soft rustle of these streams add up to an ancient symphony.
And after diving into this pristine beauty, you will be greeted by its warm and delicious reflection.
A mini-bazaar of local delicacies will open at the exit of the gorge.
Here you can try and take with you the most authentic hospitality: freshly baked, steaming khichins, fragrant collections of mountain tea based on medicinal herbs, natural urbech for energy and traditional oriental sweets.
This day will be the perfect balance between the harsh power of nature and the generous warmth of the Caucasian table.

Day 6 - Dombai

From 06:00-06:30 hotel pick-up.
A day in Dombay is not about a tick in the list of attractions.
It's about understanding why all the ski legends and trekking routes converge here.
The secret lies in the unique geography: the valley, enclosed like an amphitheater, creates its own, perfectly protected microclimate.
It's not just beautiful here, it's functional for nature and for those who explore it.
Dombay-Ulgen Mountain is not just the highest point, but the main architect of this area, which determines the weather and wind currents.
A cable car ride (for an additional fee) is not an attraction, but the fastest way to experience all the climatic floors of the Caucasus: from dense beech forests to thin air, where only lichens and eternal snow remain.
And lunch in the clearing is a tradition that was born out of necessity: travelers, climbers and scientists have always stopped here to catch their breath and exchange maps.
This is a place of power where the landscape dictates its own rules, and understanding this turns a standard trip into a conscious journey.

Day 7 - Kislovodsk. Departure
Breakfast at the hotel cafe.
Room release.
From 08:00-08:30 departure for a guided tour of Kislovodsk and the surrounding area.
We will go to the natural wonder of Mount Koltso, a rock with a through hole described by Lermontov.
On the way we will stop at a cozy Tea house.
And the final, most striking chord will be Honey Waterfalls, where you can descend into the canyon and feel the power of five streams of water cascading from granite ledges.

The second part of the day is dedicated to the resort of Kislovodsk.
Acquaintance with the city begins with its spiritual heart — St. Nicholas Cathedral, a snow-white temple, domes shining in the sun. Nearby, contrasting with it, are the ancient walls of the Kislovodsk fortress, a silent witness to the founding of the resort.
From here begins the journey to the famous Kislovodsk Park, one of the largest in Europe.
The paths lead through picturesque corners: the elegant bridge "Lady's Caprice" over the Olkhovka River, to a perfectly smooth Mirrored pond reflecting the sky and trees.
Next, the route passes by the cool Glass Stream grotto, where water flows over smooth stone, and the monument to Alexander Pushkin, which reminds of the inspiring power of these places.
You can not pass by the bright Floral calendar and the majestic entrance to the park — the arched Colonnade.
The culmination of the walk is a visit to the Main Narzan Gallery, where you can taste healing water from various sources.
Next, the path leads along an elegant Resort Boulevard to an impressive building of ancient Narzan baths.

Be tolerant of the customs of the Caucasian peoples. When visiting the republics of the North Caucasus, do not forget about appearance. When visiting holy places – headdresses, closed shoulders, legs. It is not recommended to bare hands, short skirts, and shorts for men during the warm period.

The following safety rules must be followed on excursions:

Follow generally accepted rules of conduct and personal hygiene.
To observe discipline, strictly follow all the instructions of the guide and the head of the group.
Observe the established and announced schedule of the tour, as well as the time allowed for the inspection of a particular object of visit.
To leave the group only with the permission of the guide and the head of the group.
To purchase and consume food only after agreement with the head of the group.
In spring and summer, conduct a personal visual inspection for the detection of ticks.

Safety precautions at sightseeing sites:

When visiting observation decks, do not go beyond the installed fences.
When visiting production facilities, keep a group. Do not approach moving and rotating mechanisms. Protect your eyes from dust. Do not remove anything from the territory of enterprises.
Be careful, protect your eyes from small stone chips and fingers.
It is not allowed to depart from the route (trails, paths), approach electrical wires, unfenced edges of ravines, cliffs, etc.

During the bus tour:

Tourists are obliged to carefully handle the available equipment of the bus cabin.
Boarding the bus is carried out only at the command of the head, to the places indicated by the head.
Hand luggage of tourists is located in a specially designated place (under the seat, on the top shelf, etc.). It is forbidden to place bags or other things of tourists in the aisles. For security reasons, the passage must be free.
Before starting the bus, the tourist undertakes to fasten his seat belts and not unbutton them until the bus stops completely or the permission of the accompanying person (guide).
It is forbidden to get up from your seats and walk around the cabin while the bus is moving.
It is forbidden to open windows without the driver's permission.
It is forbidden to distract drivers while driving. All your questions will be solved by the guide or the senior of the group.
It is forbidden to expose any body parts, as well as to throw garbage into the open windows of the bus.
It is forbidden to drink any drinks and eat while the bus is moving.
In case of signs of motion sickness or nausea, it is necessary to immediately inform the accompanying person or the guide.
During the bus stop, do not get up from your seats until the bus stops completely and the group leader gives a special order. You can get off the bus only after the guide and the group leader.
When leaving your seat during parking, the back of the chair must be returned to its original position.
When exiting the bus, you should not crowd, get out carefully one person at a time.
The exit from the bus is through the front door. After getting off the bus, do not disperse, gather at the specified place and follow the instructions of the guide (accompanying person).
When returning to the bus, it is necessary to occupy the seats where you were sitting before exiting it.
You get on a clean bus. You have to get out of a clean bus. In this regard, it is forbidden to leave garbage on the bus, gnaw seeds, leave empty bottles, wrappers, fruit peels.
They don't smoke on buses.
During emergency braking, it is necessary to rest your feet and hands on the seat in front of you.
In case of an accident, follow the instructions of the driver and the team leader clearly.

During a walking tour:

While driving along the street, it is necessary to walk in a compact group without disturbing other pedestrians.
The roadway of the street must be crossed only in accordance with the traffic regulations established for these places and at the command of the group leader or tour guide.

General precautions:

Handbags and purses should be held tightly in your hands, not on your shoulder.
It is advisable to keep the passport separate from the money.
Do not leave valuables, handbags, photo and video equipment in plain sight.
Do not leave things unattended while visiting sightseeing sites.
Use hats and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun.

Hello, I went on the "Caucasian Mosaic" tour and really enjoyed the experience. I was especially impressed by Mount Elbrus, Dombay, Kislovodsk, and the Honey Waterfalls. We even had time to visit an alpaca farm, which I absolutely loved. The guides shared fascinating insights about the sites and included personal stories, which made the trip engaging and far from boring. We stayed at the Intourist Hotel — it was comfortable and met all our needs. The only downside was the early mornings every day. While I understand it's necessary to beat the crowds at popular attractions, I think the itinerary would benefit from at least one day with a more relaxed start to let everyone catch up on rest. The combination of early wake-ups and late returns makes it hard to get enough sleep. The buses were modern and well-equipped, and pick-ups were always punctual. The guides offered great suggestions for how to spend our free time, and there was plenty of opportunity to shop and try local cuisine. Overall, we were very happy with the trip. The tour was well-planned, covered a wide range of destinations, and gave us a rich and complete impression of the Caucasus. Thank you!
