Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Anadyr, a walk around the city

After meeting the group at the airport, transfer to Anadyr, check in at the hotel, rest and lunch.

Despite the remoteness and harsh climate, we will not see a gray and gloomy city. Anadyr can rightfully claim to be the brightest city in Russia: Almost every house has colorful murals with images of walruses, deer, and whales.

Walking along the streets, we get to the museum center “Heritage of Chukotka". Let's plunge into history and find out how the way of life of the peoples was built and the development of the territory went on.

From the museum we go to the embankment of the Anadyr estuary, from where beautiful views open. And if we are lucky, we will be able to observe a herd of belugas a few dozen meters from the shore.

We'll have dinner together in the evening.

    Walking distance: 5 km.

    Car: 15 km.

    Meals: lunch, dinner.

    Accommodation: hotel.
